The plugin hasn't been updated in a year so I thought I'd update it. It now supports versions 1.8.8 to 1.17.1 and works with Paper.
I also fixed a major issue whereby if the plugin surpassed the Reddit API's rate limit for requests (60 requests in a minute), commands would be blocked.

Now player's commands run on separate threads, not blocking the main thread. If the server will have more than 60 reddit authentication requests per minute, it's not recommended to use the plugin as the commands slow down when approaching the rate limit (but not blocking the main thread).

Various small changes:

• Reddit account authentication is now case insensitive!
• verbose config option now removes "Running verifier" log messages.
• The auth message to send reddit bot now auto-fills!
• OP flair ID is now optional in config via the ops-enabled config option (if ops-enabled is set to false in singlegroups or multiplegroups, the flair is still computed)

Large, important changes!

• Now using Vault API to resolve prefixes and permission nodes.
• No longer require LuckPerms, however do require VAULT.
• Flairs can now be set for OFFLINE PLAYERS (!)
• HTTP messages to Reddit are now optional in console, via the "verbose" setting in config.
• Two new settings in config to set an upper bound on the time spent looking up prefixes and permissions for offline players.
• Config now automatically updates, but comments are removed - one must visit the config on the GitHub page to see the comments.

WARNING: When updating to this version, ensure you have Vault installed.
