A plugin for SpigotMC that randomly creates ores in lieu of cobblestone/stone/obsidian specified by configured ratios. OreRandomizer can randomize:
- Ancient Debris (1.16+)
- Andesite (1.13+)
- Amethyst (1.17+)
- Coal
- Cobblestone
- Concrete Powder (all 16 colors, 1.12+)
- Copper (1.17+)
- Diamond
- Diorite (1.13+)
- Emerald
- Glowstone
- Gold
- Granite (1.13+)
- Iron
- Lapis Lazuli
- Obsidian
- Redstone
- Stone
Setting any of these resources to 0 in the config.yml will stop randomization of that resource.
OreRandomizer by default will play the creeper priming sound upon ore randomization. However, the sound can be changed by a command or with the config.yml. Available sounds are:
- Breeze - this is a breeze sound (1.21+)
- Buzz - this is a bee sound (1.15+)
- Maa - this is the goat ram preparation sound (1.17+)
- Normal - this is the lava extinguish sound
- Sniff - this is the sniffer smelling sound (1.20+)
- Ssss - this is the creeper priming sound
- Wibbit - this is the frog ambient sound (1.19+)
OreRandomizer can randomize ores when vanilla MC lava / water interaction would create stone or obsidian if you so choose (and can even do so individually.) To enable randomization in either scenario simply use a command or set the corresponding config.yml key to true: RandomizeOnStoneCreation and RandomizeOnObsidianCreation.
OreRandomizer includes a few useful commands:
- /GetOreRatio and /SetOreRatio commands for displaying and setting randomization ratios
- /AddNewWorld, /GetAllowedWorlds, and /RemoveAllowedWorld for per-world activation management
- /GetRandomizationSound and /SetRandomizationSound for viewing and changing the sound that plays upon ore randomization
- /GetStoneToggle and /SetStoneToggle for viewing and changing whether ores are randomized when vanilla MC lava / water interaction would create stone
- /GetObsidianToggle and /SetObsidianToggle for viewing and changing whether ores are randomized when vanilla MC lava / water interaction would create obsidian
All commands support user permissions.
Simply place OreRandomizer.jar inside your plugins folder to install.
