This is a COMPLETE overhaul of the previous version of Blep Fishing. Everything in the plugin has been updated/upgraded and should now handle immeasurably better.

There is now an in game UI for everything from checking running tournaments to configuring every aspect of the plugin. No longer are you required to trudge through countless config files! Access this panel through /bf

Old version of Blep Fishing are NOT COMPATIBLE as this new version utilizes an entirely new system of handling data that the old one isn't anywhere able to utilize.

This update finally brings the long awaited support for WorldGuard! The region flags can be found on the WorldGuard page on the Official Wiki but the new flags are:

• bf-area <Area Name>
  • Sets the Region to be treated as a specific Fishing Area
• bf-fish <Fish Name>
  • Sets the Region so that only that specific type of fish can be caught there.
• bf-endgame <True/False>
  • Areas with this flag enabled will be treated as if it were the All Blue, meaning ALL fish can be caught in it.
• bf-fishing <Allow/Deny>
  • Defines whether fish can

This update has FINALLY fixes the massive amount of bugs that have plagued tournaments since their initial release.

This update brings some MASSIVE performance improvements thanks to the help of "!Programista HTML" in the Community Discord!

The largest change was some major tweaks to how the data files are stored but there are many small optimizations included as well.

This update brings the long awaited upgrade to the previous translation system! Once you load in, messages.yml will generate in your plugin folder and from there you will be able to change the layout of any messages throughout the plugin!

Tournaments

• Tournaments now run off of a dedicated config file called "Tournaments.yml" in your Blep Fishing config folder
  • The different properties of the tournament config can be found on the wiki
• Supports any amount of rewards and uses the new item system that I created for caskets. More info can be found on the wiki here
• Full support for Bossbars including options like time remaining, completion percentages to start showing, colors, and much more!
• Info on currently running tournaments can be found in the new Player Panel! (See below)
• Completely redesigned the /bf claim system so players never miss out on rewards again!

Fish Bags

• Added page selectors that will show up if more fish types than the bag can easily display
• Displayed the amount of unique fish caught compared to the total available
• You can now right click a fisherman villager with the bag to sell all fish in the bag at once!

Player Panel

• Replaced the /bf command with the new Player Panel!
• Displays helpful information such as useful commands, active tournaments, and hints at upcoming features

Fixes the leaderboard command not properly reading what fish you requested. (Thanks to Jonki in the Community Discord for finding this!)

This update comes with some big improvements to the default config that's comes with the plugin! Including some heavily requested features like:

• Multiple Areas for Fish (See the new Electric Eel in the config for an example)
• Customizable Treasure - View the wiki for more info
• Areas that cover all new biomes

Also included is the new PlayerFishEvent which can be used by other plugins to easily build integrations.

New admin commands are also included in this update:

• /bf GetInfo - Copies the byte info of the item currently in the your hand to your clipboard. Used for adding custom rewards to the config
• /bf Spawn Treasure <Treasure Type> <Amount> - Spawns in a specific piece of treasure for testing and debuggin purposes

Last but not least there is also a new system for tracking players collection logs, a big update that will be coming very soon!

I intended to make the previous update v1.9 instead of v1.8.3 so I'm just setting this to v1.9.1 and moving on from there.

This update includes some heavy improvements to the default config builder that had been used so that it is now extremely easy to use and gives the user a proper fully updated config to use from the get go!

This update brings an Endgame to Blep Fishing! While fishing you'll find different treasures that will show you the way to the All Blue!

Also included are further optimization and stability improvements. Including a large overhaul of the code that handles signs to hopefully fix a few longstanding bugs

Quick bugfix to an issue that was found involving a messed up listener with inventory clicks

This update brings MANY features, adding up to being the largest single update to Blep Fishing since it's creation! The changes include support for 1.19 and the long requested solution to storing your fish... Bags O' Fish!

These sacks allow fishers to store 256 (With bigger bags to come!) and have options of auto-pickup, withdrawing fish based on their size, and can handle up to 54 custom fish! To make one simply craft one at a worktable using the recipe found in your recipe book!


Unfortunately I was unable to make the bag compatible with fish previously caught as the ItemStacks containing the fish don't have the information now being stored. But don't worry! The plugin won't break if players attempt to use outdated fish, it just won't allow them to deposit the fish! They can still sell and keep them as long as they wish!



~IMPORTANT NOTICE~
The current config that is generated with the plugin does NOT contain all of the new biomes added in v1.19 of Minecraft. These will come in a future update so please use the config creation website to add them yourself, found here!

Config options to disable/enable certain aspects of the bags are coming
The bag is already setup to work with the same CustomModelData system that the fish do so keep an eye out for an update to the resource pack!

I've added the /bf config option which will bring the user to the new Config WebPanel which can be found here!

In preperation for an upcoming massive update (Stay tuned!) I've fixed a couple of big bugs that have been causing issues from time to time. Everything mostly revolves around parsing config files(hint hint!).

This update just removes the worldguard dependency that I mistakenly left in. Also fixes the help menu for the plugin.

This update makes Blep Fishing compatable with the latest 1.18.1 version of Minecraft along with cleaning up some small general bugs that I found.

This update includes some basic fixes to leaderboards

• Checking the leaderboards for tournaments now only displays the top 3, will be configurable in the future for those who want more than 3
• Fixed a bug which caused caught fish to be removed from the saved files when the leaderboard command was used.

This update brings a quick hotfix to a bug discovered by ___MrCrazy___ on the community discord. Some small efficiency improvements were also implemented, though they likely will not display any noticeable change for servers.

This update will change nothing about functionality, simply allowing the plugin to function on 1.17.

This update comes with the HEAVILY requested implementation of McMMO support. There is nothing required on your end as a user and it should work entirely out of the box. If any issues are found please let me know ASAP on the plugin's discord and I'll get it fixed as soon as I can.

Another heavily requested feature that has been implemented is PlaceholderAPI support. Through this you can now display the top caught fish of any type through any plugin that supports the API. More info can be found on our wiki.

Last but not least this update comes with more config options to give players more options for selling their fish.

• Allow Wandering Traders: true
• Wandering Traders Modifier: 1.5

With these config options enabled players will be able to sell their fish to wandering traders for a (configurable) increased amount of money.

Last but not least there are new config options for the fish you can catch

• Min Height: -256
• Max Height: 15

These options are more in preparation for the 1.17 expansion but you still might be able to find the elusive anglerfish if you know where to look!

A quick update to fix certain commands not working.

Also added a new config option for those wishing to change the prefix shown in chat by the plugin. To use this new feature add

Chat Prefix: '&b[BF]&f '

to your config file, or generate a new one and it'll automatically show up for you.

Bugfix:

• Blep fishing will now only activate when the player is fishing, instead of whenever they have a fish item on their hook
• The server is no longer flooded with errors if someone attempts to fish in an area with no defined fish
• Players are no longer told to claim rewards if a tournament did not give any rewards

This update is chock full of updates, including:

• Users are no longer able to move items in the /bf tourney menu
• Tournament Creation through commands now supports decimals for the time
• Removed a bug that allowed any item to be turned into a fish
• Tournaments no longer strip rewards of custom data such as enchantments or names

There is also a new mode that can be enabled through the config called Tournament Only. With this mode custom fish will only appear while a tournament is actively running. Otherwise players will only receive basic fish.

To enable Tournament Only Mode, you need to have
Tournament Only: true
in your config file. All new config files that are generated will have the option set to false.

Translation support has been added to Blep Fishing! To convert your system to one of the available languages you just need to add a line to your config file.

Included in this update are also some bugfixes including small formatting for different text throughout the plugin as well as a fix to fishing areas (sorry this one took so long).

This update comes with even further bugfixes for tournaments including:

• Tracked down and squashed more bugs which caused the wrong people to be rewarded
• Fixed tournaments not rewarding until after the server was reset

There were also some small improvements made this update:

• Added support for decimal points for tournament times
• Added prefixes to (hopefully) all messages sent from plugin
• Fixed typos in item descriptions

Fixed a bug with Fishing Tournaments where all fish caught were counted, not just those caught during the tournament

Added an option to the config to allow for users to set the plugin to High Priority. This will hopefully help to alleviate incompatibilities in the future. To update an older config, add

To the config file.

Tournaments

• Interface added for creating a fishing tournament
  • /BF Admin will take you to the admin panel to begin
  • The top two rows of the interface allow the admin to place in any items they wish to reward the winning player
• /BF StartTourney will help with creating tournaments purely through a command for easily repeating tournaments
• /BF Claim can be used by players to quickly and easily claim any rewards they may have from previous fishing tournaments.

Miscellaneous Fixes

• Standardized messages received from Blep Fishing
• Switched from static variables to local variables where possible in order to make the plugin much more efficient
• Vastly improved the look of chat messages, implementing hover functionality.
• Cleaned up many of the messages throughout the plugin to make them much more clear
• Made plugin help appear if /bf, /bf ?, or /bf help were run to assist new players.

Fixed a bug that caused the chat to be spammed whenever the server was reloaded. More fixes to come soon, specifically for the reload command and better formatting of the help menu.

Economy support has arrived! Along with a bunch of bugfixes!
Note: Economy support is entirely optional. if vault is not installed, fish will not have values added to them.

Bugfixes:

• Changed base command to /bf
• Added help menu when base command is run
• Made fish sizes scale with the rarity's
• Started to use NBT data for the fish in order to prevent lore edit duping

Unfortunately I previously left in some code snippits I was using for debugging that made it so that you could no longer eat the fish. That has been fixed in this version!

The score of the fish is a hidden value based on the weight of the fish rarity and how close its size is to the max possible.
