Well... I have to...
A Network Node limit has been added as someone managed to discover that 10,000 + nodes will make Networks collapse in-on-itself a little. The new limit defaults to 2,000 nodes per Network and is configurable per owners/admins from 10 - 5,000 under Items.yml for the Network Controller. To be clear, this is per-network so if you need more, you can build multiple networks and creatively 'join' them. Players will need to be made aware that if they have a base previously made with more nodes than the limit then nodes over the limit will not function. Those picked are somewhat arbitrary based on how the network generates. To help with this change:
  • The Network Probe will now show total nodes vs limit
  • The Network Controller will show when it's over burdened
  • Network Shells no longer count or act as Network Nodes meaning they do not propagate out the Network and will not count towards this limit
  • The Network Rake has been added (more below)
Rake me out tonight
The Network Rake is a limited-use item that allows you to instantly remove certain node-types. Much like a wrench can in mods/other addons. This will work on Bridges, Monitors, Pushers, Grabbers, Importers and Exporters

Bug Fixes
  • Fixes an issue in which GUI items could be removed (sneaky NPE)
  • Probe wont bombard with cooldown messages and will generally just act more normal
