Aeternum Seasons -----

A dynamic and realistic station system for Minecraft Survival - Multilingual | Plug & Play

Version: 3.3
A one-of-a-kind seasonal plugin, truly unmatched on the market. It showcases the changing seasons, shifting vegetation, animal migrations, and seasonal events, while also featuring two special worlds. This plugin consistently delivers high performance and is actively maintained by its developers! Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for your comment!

I'm so glad you enjoy the seasonal mechanics and the two dimensions.

I'll keep working to keep the plugin lightweight, original, and well-optimized.
Your recommendation motivates me to keep improving.

Version: 3.1
Another plugin for the season of the year...
ANOTHER PLUGIN, THE ONLY PLUGIN THAT DOESN'T USE OUTDATED "ProtocolLShit"!!!
THANK YOU!
Thank you very much for the work done
I hope in the future there will be such mechanics as Setting up events in the calendar, for example:
- executing commands on a specific day/month/year/hour/minute.
Disabling new measurements that the plugin adds.
Adjust the growth rate of vegetation such as wheat/carrots/potatoes depending on the time of year...
At the moment, unfortunately, I cannot support the developer with currency....

I'm glad you like my work on this plugin! It was a lot of work, and I decided to make it free so the community has a different way to play without using mods, and so it's easy to install

Regarding the commands you mentioned, is it possible to add them? I'm finishing version 3.2, and maybe I can release an additional plugin to replace the calendar and use one with /day/month/year/minutes; that would make it more immersive. And the crop growth is very vanilla; we only block growth outside of greenhouses. But it would be great to add new settings! I'll keep that in mind for version 3.3. Thanks for your feedback :D

Version: 3.1
Best Seasons plugin around. I’m self-hosting a private server with a few friends, and this plugin didn’t cause any lag spikes, and the biome painting feature looked great.
The only gripe I have is that the particle effects for seasonal events could be a bit more subtle.

Author's response
Hi! Thanks for your comment! I'm glad you liked the plugin! I'm about to release more improvements soon! And regarding the particles in events, there's an option to remove them in the events.yml file called `particles_enabled: true`. Just set it to `false` and you won't see any more particles.

Version: 3.0
There is no setting that would allow you to disable block melting in winter biomes, and there is no Iris support that would replace biomes in configurations with biomes from this plugin. The author didn't even read my previous (now deleted) review. I use the plugin but am very unhappy that there aren't even any settings for biomes. And everything melts in WorldGuard regions too!!! Why is there no protection?

Hi! Happy holidays ✨
Sorry for the late reply — I couldn’t answer sooner, but I finally made time to look into your report.

✅ WorldGuard protection is now included for snow. You can enable it in climate.yml:

real_snow:
worldguard_respect_regions: true

With that enabled, snow logic respects WorldGuard regions instead of applying everywhere.

About the other points:

“Disable melting in winter biomes”: this isn’t something the plugin supported before. I’m adding more controls over time, but that specific “stop melting” behavior depends on vanilla mechanics and needs a different approach than the snow painter.

Iris support / biome replacement: there isn’t Iris biome mapping support at the moment, so configs can’t automatically translate Iris biomes into plugin biomes yet.

If you tell me which exact blocks you mean by “everything melts” (ice? snow layers? ), I can target that specifically in the next patch.

Version: 3.0
How do I disable glacier melting in my world? I want biomes with ice or snow to not melt in the summer.

Version: 2.4
Excellent plugin, but one thing I have noticed (only just installed the plugin to my server yesterday) is that we have the server set to winter right now, and the snow seems to cut back and forth between rain and snow in small areas (like couple block width of rain mixed into the snow, or areas where its just raining instead of snowing)

Thanks for the report!
I’ll bump the paint radius and the per-tick budget in the next update so the winter biomes catch up faster and cover everything you can see.

Version: 2.1
A small bug about new crops. When i repeatly dropping it and then pick it up,the lores of this crop will be more and more.Though it doesn't matter. It would be better if it could be fixed.

I've already uploaded version 2.2 with some improvements. I hope this fixes it, and if not, I'll look into it again for version 2.3.

Version: 2.0
A nice plugin. I changed the days_per_season, but didnt work. Is that a problem? I tried to reload and restart my server, but still useless.

Hi! Thanks for your comment :)
It's fixed now! You can download version 2.1 again!

Version: 1.6
Everything works great, thank you for listening to my comment. Our Discord link isn't working. Please update it. I want to join you.

Author's response
Thank you so much! I'm really glad everything's working well now. I’ve just updated the Discord link—thanks for pointing that out!

Version: 1.4
This is amazing, but it still needs some work. Add PlaceholderAPI
and disable portals to the config file, and it will be perfect.
-
Author's response
Thanks a lot for the feedback!

I’ve just pushed version 1.5 and it includes both things you mentioned:

Optional PlaceholderAPI support
If PlaceholderAPI is installed, the plugin now registers a small set of placeholders you can use in scoreboards, menus, holograms, etc.:

%aeternum_day% – current day

%aeternum_year% – current year

%aeternum_season% – current season (using the plugin’s translations)

%aeternum_realm% – curre_

%aeternum_world_name% – tech

config.yml
features:
portals:
frost:
enabled: true # false = no portals to the frozen world
heat:
enabled: true # false = no portals to the underworld

Version: 1.2
Best possible seasons plugin on the market, also it's free and good support from the developer!

Thanks so much! I'm glad you're enjoying it — I’ll keep improving it :D
