Fantastic. This plugin enables every quality of life enhancement one could ask for, some of which should be in the base game by default. The developer continues to fix bugs and update compatibility with the latest version of MC, what more can we ask for. Top tier!

I love trident but hate how it works in vanilla game. This plugin implemented these quality-of-life feature associate with this weapon and made it genuinely worthwhile in combat. All of them can be toggled in the configuration!
The plugin did show up in my timings report if "enable-void-saving" is on. If you use Purpur, its "trident-loyalty-void-return-height" is a more efficient method to address the void issue.

Glad you enjoy it! Can you send me the timings report so I can look more into it? I've tried with a couple hundred tridents on a testing server and didn't see anything significant in timings.

This plugin has massive problems like looping every entity at every tick. BetterTrident is better than this lol
Every entity? Nope. Every trident? Yes. How many trident entities do you have in your world at a time? Is this plugin causing problems for you? The feature only activates if "enable-void-saving" is turned on, otherwise there is no tick timer activated. I googled "BetterTrident spigot" and found a link to this page so I hope you're not talking about the *Forge* mod. That would be pretty embarrassing. In case you are, that mod has no such void saving feature. Apples to apples and all that.

An issue that I would like to report : The trident does not return to the second hand when the inventory is complete (well from my observations).
