How to Use RideableMobs
Getting Started:
To use RideableMobs, you need to have a Spigot or Paper server running Minecraft 1.19. You also need to have ProtocolLib installed on your server.
After downloading the plugin jar files, drop them into your plugins folder and restart your server or reload your plugins. You should see a message in the console saying that RideableMobs has been enabled.
Riding Mobs:
To ride a mob, you need to have the permission
rideablemobs.ride.<EntityType>. For example, if you want to ride a pig, you need the permission
rideablemobs.ride.sheep. You can give yourself or other players this permission using a permission plugin, such as LuckPerms.
Once you have the permission, you can right click on any mob that you want to ride. You can control the mob’s movement with WASD keys, just like you would control your own movement. You can also jump with the spacebar, and sneak with the shift key to dismount.
You can ride any mob in the game, except for the ender dragon.
You can also ride other players, if you have the permission
rideablemobs.ride.player. You can right click on any player that you want to ride, and control their movement with WASD keys.
Restricting Mobs:
You can enable or disable riding permissions for specific mobs or players by using a permission plugin, such as LuckPerms. You can give or revoke the permissions
rideablemobs.ride.<EntityType> and
rideablemobs.ride.player to control who can ride what.
