High customizability is always appreciated. I must admit however that with there apparently not being a default config makes it somewhat hard (for me at least) to exactly know how to put what in as the GitHub documentation sounds very complicated imo.
Very complicated documentation fits a very complicated plugin :p
A default config isn't really possible here, as the usage tends to vary greatly from server to server.
I do agree that it can be a bit unwieldy to configure though
I had my doubts about RS, but I was genuinely impressed by the quality and the depth of this plugin. Customization is through the roof for literally everything—your inner control freak will love the per-world, per-location, and per-structure sections provided for each spawner. You have absolute control over everything from the spawn patterns (randomization, conditions, triggers) to the optional decay patterns (delays, triggers, limits), enabling a level of customization unmatched among other plugins. At first, I did feel like the configuration file was a bit unwieldy—no in-game editors here, and the wiki page could use some organization—but I can’t deny that the bulky config is necessary to keep the plugin ultra flexible. The debug/error messages will help you along the way, so even if you’re like me and have a hard time respecting syntax, the plugin will guide you in fixing your syntax as well as any other issues with your resource spawners. TLDR: There is a pretty steep learning curve, but if you’re willing to put the time in, this plugin will single-handedly manage ALL of your server’s regenerating structures without a hitch. Considering RS is only at v1.0, I’m amazed that this one wasn’t listed as a premium plugin. Five stars well earned! Keep up the great work :)
