Hey!

In this version I added some user requested features such as:

• [Fix] A check up for when the custom torch startup removal was disabled, that if the torch was still lit, it will get set to an unlit one on startup, beforehand it just glitched and made the lit one go into vanilla torches, which would be kinda bad and pointless.

[Changed/Reworked] I reworked the break check which made it compacter, faster and more efficient, on top of that I added an option to enable if u should get damaged on breaking a lit custom torch and the amount of the damage.

[Changed] Changed some console messages color wise to match it more to the overall theme.

As per usual, please save your current config then let a new one generate to update it with the new needed values!


I also updated the version string and update checker for current version!:)

Hello,

in this update I have tried to implement two new systems.

One is to have an optional config value to decide if the custom system placed torches should be removed on server start or not.

The other one is a try to setup a default forced mode on first join.

As always, please backup your config, reset it and fill out the new values, in this case two new options and a new message.

It could act a bit weird if you setup modes before and depending on your settings, it is just a logic thing tho, just set the new mode and relog if needed, but on my testing it all worked as intended if you have no mode variables set before and start 'fresh', you can do so by disabling the persist mode in config and restart the server, then stop it and adjust to how u like wth persistent mode, custom mode etc.

I also updated the version string and update checker for current version!:)

Hey!

Added:
• Persistent mode due to recent request - Toggleable in config, please do backup your current one and generate a fresh one and adjust it to your needings.

(Keeps your user set torchmode throughout the restart if set to true)

Changed:

• A more or less self caused issue where old torches which were not set in the new mode were not able to be broken, with this update it should be fixed, old and vanilla torches should work the way they intended to be and the custom RealisticTorches ones to their way.

Hello there!

I am afraid to tell you I had to make a slight change on the update checker.

The reason for that is the old VPS the update checker was hosted on sadly got affected by a datacenter wide fire and could not be recovered, hence why I had to move to another datacenter and therefore had to get a new IP.

There is nothing else changed, so technically it should work just as before!

This update contains the following:

Changed the RealisticTorches command to
/RealisticTorches [<Text>] ->
[<Text>] = reload > Reloads the config.yml.
[<Text>] = help or info > displays each command and current version.
[<Text>] = version > Checks current version and updates (advanced).
[<Text>] = empty/black/no arg > Displays the help messages.

Changed some default messages.
Changed the config.yml a slight bit, there is now a version option, do not touch it to not screw up stuff. I made a kind of recover system for it, but still, do not touch it.
Changed the /Cleartorches command to be only runable through the console to prevent abuses by unauthorized and keeping off the use of permissions. If a user tries to use it ingame, he get's a notification of it only being able to be run through the console.

Implemented x BETA x update checker system. Checks updates on start and gives output via the console. Manually checkable via /RealisticTorches version with detailed output. Also overrides the version in the config.yml on each start after the file got created, in case u mess up something, but u should still not touch it :).

Updated the thread design to match the current version as usual.

x Please delete the current config.yml so it can be regenerated. x

This update contains the following:

Changed the torchnotify command to /torchnotify [<text>] where text = message|actionbar|off if text=empty it throws a wrong usage message|actionbar|off.
Changed some default messages.
Changed the config order and some names to clarify them a bit more.
Changed the way the unlit torches spawn to be like the old torch position rather than just flying in the air :)
New messages are editable in the config.
Added enabled worlds.
Changed that when u load RealisticTorches the mode variable get's deleted to safe space and so u can use /torchmode only in enabled worlds and not abuse the mode if u had enabled it before.
Notfication about which worlds are enabled if u r in a disabled one.

In this update I have added the following:

↪ The Rain update. You cannot place custom system torches or relit burnt once when it rains in your world and the event-torch is OPEN AIR. Meaning you have to build something above it to keep it dry to burn .

↪ Added a visual overhaul to the resource page and resource Icon, I hope you like it!

Added a slightly different convert system in the config, so it auto generates & signs for the color codes instead of the \xa7 ones.

• Holograms.
• Hologram mode via /torchtimer.
• 2 Editable messages for the mode.
• Hologram editable message. I have wrote a system so you can also use &NUMBER/CHAR instead of \xa7NUMBER/CHAR like the config is generated. Basicly like in the messages. If you want to move the actual timer time on the message you have to change it in the script directly though.
• Holograms will spawn a slight bit beneath the torch for a nice look, I have added the mode so you can decied yourself if you have it enabled or not, since you cannot destroy the torch while the hologram is there (unless you manage to break the block the torch is aligned with).
• New dependency - Holographic Displays.

• I got rid of the top messages at the script itself and have added a config!
It will be created upon the first start of the plugin (or whenever the file or folder is deleted, in case you have to reset it.). It can be found here: plugins/RealisticTorches/config.yml.

• A couple of new messages.
• Added a command to clear the current variables (will be executed when the script will get loaded), only executeable by the console. "/f8e3f8g28g2g4h89g2g"
• Added a command to reload the config, the message to the player is set in the config, the console message is hard written in the config though. "/RealisticTorches reload"
• New dependency "SkUtilities"

• Height level for the burn time, changeable like before just with 3 instead of 1 value :).

• You are now able to relight the torches via 2 modes:

Rightclick with flint and steel on a burnt torch this damages the tool by a random value between 5 and 15.
Rightclick with a fire charge on a burnt torch this will consume 1 fire charge.

Note: You have to be in the custom torch mode for this to work :).
