In the 3.1.4 (current) version, commands are supported (see the config). In a nearing version, I plan to make loot more reward based instead of item based, which is likely what you're looking for.

No command to place ruins, have it spawn. The video looked like he just got the command but I cant spawn a ruin with the crate. Ive checked the config already

The video is old and reflects an older state of the plugin, however most of the functionality is the same. What you want for crate \ruins is the addon for this plugin https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/lootcrates-extended.72032/.

It can confirm that the plugin functions as intended on Paper 1.16.5 v520. I don't know the specifics of your server, but it is possible another plugin is conflicting or it's something else server related.
I would be more than happy to help you given you provided me with the information about your server, such as version, possible errors in log, or what you specifically did to decide that the plugin isn't working.

Where can I submit some issues? I would love to use this plugin, it is simple and does not have a ton of extra crate stuff I do not want. I am not sure if it is because I am trying to run in 1.16.1, but the crate animations are not working, and can be very buggy. Would love to see the plugin updated to 1.16.1.

Just doesnt work, the video tutorials are not what the plugin even does, there is no /crates game command, and the inventories when I give myself a crate is super glitchy and lets me take any item out... Server version:1.12.2
