Werid ahh config, not easy to translate, when i get the item the item doesnt apper in my inventory

nice plugin, easy to handle if u look at it for more than 10 minutes. maybe add a way to set the display name of the item/reward? :P

To all the people saying all these issues try find another free crates plugin with this good of system in place been using for a year now and has not failed me once.

Very easy to set up and if you go into the config it is very customisable. Amazing plugin, especially as a free resource!

The plugin is very user friendly, ignore the stupid people who put a 1 star review lol. Anyway, the reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 stars is because the permissions are not clear, I had to guess the name of the interact permission so players could actually use the crates.

People leaving 1 star reviews are idiots who don't know how to configure plugins. This plugin is top tier for what it is. Very configurable and if you know how to read a config file (that includes the entire plugin folder and all included) you'll know that this plugin is very nice.

The only thing you'll run into an issue with is if you have multiverse with seperate inventories, players can roll the lootcrate, teleport to another world and get the item there, effectively "smuggling" items across worlds. This isn't something to blame the dev for as I haven't brought it up to his attention.

Developer is very friendly, responsive and works quickly. 10/5 stars

excellent out of the box experience! absolutely love this plugin. works perfectly on Paper 1.16.5. the GUI could seem too complicated for some users because there's no wiki BUT the functionality is just what i was looking for & i personally liked the GUI. this plugin will be even better if you add sql support. love it.

Overcomplicated. Not what im looking for, im looking for efficiency and simplicity and this is definitely not that.

Got nothing but love for this plugin. So many options and choices! But I'd like it if you could choose if you want everyone to access the crates in the config instead of using a plugin for it.

The plugin is excellent, but it has a problem that has persisted since 1.17, as far as I know, which is the /lootcrate give all command. If there is someone on the server with a name that starts with "all", the box goes to them and not to everyone online. I think I've reported this before. But currently in 1.20, the problem continues.

A good plugin but i have a question why when someone open the crate don't get the item? i try look for the "isdisaple" in config.fml and i didn't find it pleas help!

Plugin Awesome how ever there is almost no wiki to it.... For example Open-sound yeah i know sounds from minecraft but how to not have it( because none or [] just crash the crate) or how to make it quiet not loud so i shit my self every time opening a lootcrate ?

Though discontinued, the plugin still works perfectly on 1.19! Yes it's holograms no longer work but I just added that manually and the rest works perfectly

holograms do not work on 1.19.3. I'm using everything that's supposed to be used too.

A good plugin. It does what is expected without too much trouble. The customization is great, possibility to add sounds (that is great)!
The developer is still working on it, so he will have time to improve the plugin even more.
For the moment we cannot complain.

Can you add a permission that allows you to claim certain keys per world based on name or something. Cause im able to claim them in any world but i have multiverse inventories that makes it so each world has its own inventory so to prevent people from loosing there keys in the wrong world this would be handy.

This is perfect. Not useless features that cause a lot of lag, not huge in size, no lag, automated holograms setup, only thing I wish could have changed is to use names instead of id's. But I can work with it tho. This plugins even supports 1.19 and it gets frequent updates! I definitely recommend this.

Timely and responsive to issues! That is unheard of in most plugins. I can not stress how much I respect a simple to use plugin with straight forward configuration and easy to use in-game gui. I will recommend you to anyone looking for a lootcrate solution. :) (They'll even take a loss to make sure you know what you need to know. Looking at you TylBur!)

Being able to set your crate to specific x y z allows you to set it even to playerheads.
Fully customisable keys that work great with CustomDrops.
Chests can include custom items as heads from HeadDatabase.
Support items with custom names, lores and hex colors in them.


Overall great addition to your server.

I could not find a normal plugin for cases.
I searched the entire Internet for keywords and did not find anything.
After that, I remembered that when viewing the plugin updates feed, I met plugins for cases many times. I went in and found it 5 minutes later since the plugin was recently updated. The plugin turned out to be the best plugin I need. Absolutely everything for me was suitable for my requirements. I recommend.

I recommend that the developer add more tags to the plugin to search for the plugin via the Internet. Since it is unrealistic to find it by searching for "cases", "cases spigot", "crate". I got to page 4 of Google and this plugin was not on the list.

I have tried so many of these plugins without success and I can honestly say this one was just amazing! I can not recommend this plugin enough. The video guide is also super helpful

hii the plugin is ok and not in the same time its weird and long to add commands to items and the lootcate GUI is a bit buggy but still like the plugin just 1 thing i cant unset a crate like remove it from 1 block and when do delete I'm left with an armor stand that i just cant remove pls help

Normaly i am not really good in working with Plugins but this one its so easy to handle Fantastic :D

I believe that a good optimization has to be done in the plugin, or put a lock, so when someone is opening a key, another cannot open it, and also let only 1 key open at a time.

When more than 1 are open at the same time, the tps drops drastically from 20 to 12.13 and even 10 tps, which is scary,
may cause damage to the server!

It would be nice to take a look at this...

Overall nice plugin. Could rate it 5 stars, but there is no way to edit locale, for example few buttons like "back, close, Next" are not customizable at all

can't delete hologram, can't change hologram location. Also pls change those red stained glass colour code to &r so player can just see a blank text with nothing

From what I've had to use, I liked it, I haven't tested all its features yet, but I have a question, how can I change the hologram that is under the crate's name? It's just that in Options it's not showing up. Btw, the discord link isn't working.

Buggy and unreliable, can't remove crate locations. Creating keys is overly confusing. Overall just poorly written.

Good plugin, but not 100% work.. I open crate with crate key, and do not give materials...

Turns out the problem I was having was due to WorldGuard and my server's spawn protection. No complaints from me about this plugin! Works exactly as intended :)

I like this plugin. Good job. But you put too much color when the crate is opening.

After Setting up the crates for my server I wanted to Give my self the keys to test on the crates and on 1.17.1 server it gave me a internal error when trying to give players a key would rate higher if that issue gets fixed

First of all, i used it for a long 4 full hours before writing this review (i write like a lot of reviews testing plugins and translating them) so:

▷ DESCRIPTION
Since there are a lot of crate plugins i just wanted to see why LootCrate among all of those ones who are being created and updated. After using it i finally understood why this crates plugin does his job almost perfectly. The plugin's main page it's beautiful, plenty of images and the wiki it's pretty cool, something that it's useful for people who doesn't want to expend a lot of time learning how a plugin works to see it in action.

▷ INTEGRATIONS
My server test for this kind of purposes has a fairly huge amount of plugins (102 right now) and i didn't found a single console spam or incompatibility between LootCrate and other plugins that does the same job (of those 102, 3 of them are Looting Crates plugins). I had an small error since two of the plugins used the same command but you can solve it with /nameoftheplugin:command to solve the issue and make it work.

Im just amazed how good integrated it is. Not gonna lie, I expected some kind of error at the process.

▷ STRENGHT POINTS
Since it has a GUI and a HD support, is visual and lightweight. It's powerful and does his job without funny jobs and, his best point, you can configure commands as a rewards. Do you know HOW STUPIDLY GOOD IS THAT?! It's good as hell.
And the most good point of this plugin: you must have the item in your hand to put rewards. So that makes this plugin compatible with any custom item or RPG setup that changes itemname, lore and stats by NBT!

▷ WEAK POINTS
I miss a bit of visual customization maybe since the plugin it's meant to be working and lightweight and does that perfectly.

▷ PRICE
Free! Also, if you as an user using this plugin, LEAVE A DAMN REVIEW. Since it's free, why don't do that to make their owners a bit happy? Don't be selfish, it's just a phrase or two.

▷ ACTIVITY
This developer launched a total of 16 updates in a 7 month period, that makes almost 2 updates per month so it's very frequent with his plugin. Sometimes the author's activity doesn't mean to be updating it every day, but only when the plugin needs it and that's what the developer's doing. Pretty good ngl.

▷ POSSIBLE IDEAS
Some possible customization ideas:
- The ability to make not only single chests to make it work, but Ender chests or even Trapped chests.
- An Standby animation made by particles. Im actually using a plugin called BlockParticles to make it work and does the job, so that's more a selfish question than a real suggestion.

Easy to modify when getting used to it. Lets say you have 3 tiers of crates. You get keys to the first Tier box, from voting or whatever events you have. Then a 10% chance to drop keys to the tier 2 box, and from there (the lucky one yeah), gets the golden key to the Tier 3 Elite box. He dont even have to use it, actually he can sell it to another player. The posibilities are limitless, this is an example. Gotto love this neat crate plugin. Thanks Developer! Totally awesome! This makes 100% integration to a entertaining gameplay.

Really disappointed, because this looks like the best loot crate plugin on the market, however upon a fresh install on the latest version of paper, and this plugin errors and disables itself.
I attempted to visit the discord for help involving this plugin, and there is a wait time for being able to chat. I understand having protection for your discord, but you have like 3 people in it. a 10 minute chat timer is just overkill. I needed help now, not 10 minutes from now. Just set up a rules page for your community and move on, no need for timers. This was discouraging enough to make me move on to another plugin which worked first try. I might revisit this in the future. Not sure yet. Sour tastes tend to stick around for a while.
