This is the best Hunger Games Plugin out there, its great that the devs have been updating it for free for years. Just wish it could be updated to 1.21

Love the plugin. If there's someone reading my review - I really need help on the items.yml. I am no good in these kinds of thing so if there's a kind soul who would share their items.yml contents with me that'd be a huge help.

I don't know what bugs people are talking about with server version 1.20.4, everything works fine, at least for me

this plugin is dogshit and is abandonded, tried using it on 1.20.4 and it's full of bugs.

it works, but could use a feature to automatically make players join a game, probably the one with the most players in it without needing to use the ugly signs. also placeholders for how many seconds until start only, and other seconds so you could use gui plugins. also add a feature to wait in the lobby until the game starts, then a timer in game.

reat plugin, working fine fore me on 1.19.3 and im using viaversion/viabackwards. My only issue is the spectating feature is not working. (updated to 5 starts because im an idiot and didnt see i had it disabled in the config lol)

This game type is really cool, but the developer takes too long to solve issues with the plugin, and there is no discord server for support. I have contacted him before, and it took weeks to months. Then my error was not resolved. I ended up deleting all my hunger games world and all associated files.

Plugin is old and aging but still pretty okay. Used it alot back in the day and using it now as well. Repo was archived so its now unmaintained and probably done for any major updates.

I love this plugin, but is there a way to change when the game starts all players start with 2 hearts of health? maybe i set the game up right but all players have only 2 hearts of health and 2 hunger points. This carrys through the grace period and we have to rely on golden apples to heal up before fighting.

This might be a good plugin because it has great potential but is full of bugs.

This plugin is amazing, I have been using this hungergames plugin for a few years now its truly my favorite. Extremely easy to use, very fun, and light weight. I want to personally thank the developers for making this amazing plugin and for hundreds of hours of fun destroying with my friends with all crazy kits we made lol.

My biggest recommendation: I love to have a GUI kit selection compared to the typing in chat method. A gui would really be the cherry on top for me so please do look into this

This plugin really helped me a lot, in this last update I have seen that the spectators can join the arrows of the participants who are still alive and the invisibility potions make you transparent, that is, they can see you in the same way

I mean, I use alternos to host my server and there is no way to install plugins manually, just with plugins coming from spigot or bukkit official web pages. And there are no updated plugins for hg. i would really apriciate if you submit the plugin here directly.

This plugin is amazing! The only criticism I have is to remove the dumb sign requirement for setting up the lobby. You already have a wand in the plugin, just have the user use that for the lobby. The sign system is clunky and makes 0 sense.

Even though there is no longer support with this plugin, it's really appreciated that this was updated. Works well as of 1.16.5, customizable options, messages and extremely functional. Hopefully ShaneBee will come back to update this plugin to newer versions as they come out, but if not we wish you the best on future endeavors.

This has got to be one of the *Best* free plugins I have encountered on SpigotMC, the code is clean, functional and has every feature + that you would expect. Sure it might not work on Paper 1.16.4+ however the author already said he has put an end for updates at the moment and I have no problem downgrading my servers version to keep this plugin.

I was recently in a situation where i had to pull together a hunger games server overnight, this plugin made that possible. It made the overwhelming project of setting up a hunger games minigame as simple as running 5 commands. Really good plugin, the only criticism i can say is i would like a few more customizable features, such as how long before a game starts when the minimum players are in the lobby.

Please add that the chests replenish every 5 minutes or that I can set the time myself.

Has been working beautifully for us, very smooth and easy setup. Everything works as expected. We came across an NBT data issue and the dev got back to us almost immediately after submitting the request. +1 great dev support and great plugin!

The plugin is easy to program although at my cost it is enough to cover my entire map since they are more than 2000 blocks long and wide, the way to configure the spanws is magnificent as well as the shape of the lobby and the point of reappearance when you die but I have a problem and that is that when a game is played everything is fine except that no one can stick and it appears normal in the chat that the pvp is already activated and the difficulty of the game is easy so we are hungry, we can mobs hit but we can't kill each other any solution?

Very good plugin to set up a professional feeling hungergames in minutes. Have experienced an issue with very bad lag after the world border has shrunk all the way. Made PVP like a slideshow. It may not be directly caused by this plugin but there is not much else on the server running during games and it hasn't lagged like this before. But again only toward the end of a match.

Great plugin using it on my server for a while. Most things work as they should and there's a lot of customization you can do. I have one question though. How do I fix the entities on the ground from last game that don't despawn? First I thought it only happened when I did a reload on the plugin, but after some games I see the loot still on the ground. People pick it up at the beginning of the game so it's kind of an issue. I load my maps in a different world with mutliverse, does that have anything to do with it? For the rest it's a great plugin and I want to continue using it.

This plugin is exactly what I was searching for. It has all the features I need - nothing less, nothing more. Works like a charm and my players enjoy it. Thank you for making this plugin 1.13+ compatible!

I held a HungerGames Turnament with a little over 50 players two months ago using this plugin, far better than doing it manually. However some clever players figured out how to respawn, although with no items they were killed imediately, it still complicated the turnament. I was using the Version: 4.10.13 - Aug 25, 2019, I couldnt see any patchnotes mentioning the bug, I wasnt able to recreate it myself, however if I understood correctly it had to do with relogging from the turnament using /hg leave, and or leaving the server, I will be running another turnament with this plugin in two weeks, I will try and test it again this weekend to see if I can find the source of the problem, my guess is it might have registered them as spectators when they got back into the game, but allowed them to interract as they had left the game.

Spectators are also a bit wack when you stream it to a large screen, as the ingame specators are visble to each other and Admins in SpectatorGamemode, though they still werent visble to the alive players, it would be cool if they'd be put in GM3 or likewise so people can still spectate without interfering with the stream.

Otherwise this is the greatest Hungergames plugin ive had the pleasure of using, its very nice how easy it is to customize.

Best Plugin, Honestly I have used this plugin for a few weeks and im loving it, worth downloading and trying out your self and your a great Developer keep doing what your doing!

This plugin is nice and simple and great to setup, lots of customisable options and everything you could ask for from a Hunger Games Plugin, The Developer is quick and fast with replies if you have any issues (Not that I've had any) which is all anyone can ask for from a plugin Devloper!

Good plugin with many features. Especially a very nice and friendly Developer who really listens to what you are saying and what your problems or suggestions are. Unfortunately this plugin will not work in combination with my own Server configuration, but this should not hold you back from downloading and trying this plugin. It's a good one.

Very nice plugin. The discord also provides decent support (With decent I mean it takes a little while for ppl to awnser. I'd love to see supply drops added to the plugin, but for now it's still a very nice plugin.

Incredible plugin, in the past I have lacked finding good survival games/hunger games plugins and this one is just perfect. Keep it up!

Great plugin! I've had no issues with it at all. I like the idea of personal scores, but maybe you can add a feature where there is a placeholder for the team score (both players' scores added together)

Easy toi configure arenas, Highly Configurable and players deffently love haveing a game before they leave after a few hours of survival

I asked for a feature and while it hasn't been added yet, the author seems trustworthy enough and I trust that it'll be added. (Custom player heads for hg kits)

Tysm for the hungergames plugin!! Though i have a problem, when a player kills a player it doesn't register that a player is killed, where an error pops up in the console and I don't know the cause of it;(. How can i send this error to you in some way? I feel like a plugin is somewhat interfering with the hungergames plugin.

Tried it on a dev server it took my cpu to around 12% on start and around 5% on end and dropped tps down to around 19.30 <, good plugin overall.

Fantastic Plugin. Will be actively using for dozens of PVP areas on our sever. The Dev is active and quick to respond.
The best solution for anyone wanting to do controlled PVP areas or arenas. And it does all, you just build the area or arena and follow the easiest setup steps I've seen in a long long time.
Worthy of a 10 star rating if only Spigot it would let me...

Wonderful plugin. Lightweight as stated. Plugin is nice, as it allows you to play more rounds, without having a server reboot.
