Thank you for the kind review!

Version: 2.8.2
Brilliant plugin that allows to easily edit the output of the /help command. This plugin is very simple to configure and offers some nice options like rainbow text or HEX-colors. Furthermore, the owner is fast at fixing bugs and errors.

Suggestion: The newly added ability to create aliases does only create an alias for a specific page but not for the /help command. I'd appreciate an option to actually create an "global" alias for /help with the same output as /help.

All in all, a good plugin that does what it promises.

Thank you for the review!

Thanks for the suggestion as well, you can use the first item in the alias list as the first page if that is what you are after? Alternatively, If you mean something like: /customalias 1/2/3/4 etc, then I may add this in the future.

Version: 2.8.2
Not much to say rather I'm quite pleased with this plugin. It allows me to add some custom messages/text for my "Rp" style that I'm looking at.

Much love~ :)

Version: 2.8.1
Well, this is a very nice and easy help command plugin but since the new update Windows Defender fully blocks downloading it because it says it is a Virus (Trojan). I'm not even talking about the common "jar-file" warning. This is the only plugin I ever downloaded that gets detected as this kind of Virus. So I'm not sure what to think about this issue. Still 5 stars because the previous versions are excellent.

Update: I did some testing and this only happens with the new 2.8.1 version but not the previous versions (not even 2.8). Strange thing: v2.8.1 is a file of 49.6kB and v2.8 has 63kB which is very weird, especially if you check the changelog. Looking forward for a clarification. Important note: I'm not accusing anyone! I'm just reporting my experience (that's why I gave 5 stars)

I'm sorry that this happened, thank you for leaving a good review and informing me about this issue. I believe that 2.8.1 may not have been compiled properly, which is why it is smaller than 2.8. I have made sure 2.8.2 has been compiled properly and, after scanning it on Windows Defender, nothing has been detected.

Version: 2.7.6
bad plugin does not support hex colors!

(The other stuff works fine ngl)

Hex codes work perfectly fine as shown on both the plugin's page and the documentation.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the "Help Command" plugin for Spigot 1.19, and overall, it's a commendable addition to any server looking to enhance its command system. The plugin brings a streamlined approach to managing and displaying commands, making it user-friendly for both players and administrators.

The plugin's interface is clean and intuitive, providing a well-organized list of available commands. This simplicity contributes to a smooth user experience, especially for those new to the server or plugin commands. The quick access to essential information greatly aids players in navigating through the server's features.

However, one notable drawback is the lack of support for Placeholder API. Placeholder API compatibility has become almost a standard expectation in modern Spigot plugins, enhancing customization and integration with other plugins. Unfortunately, "Help Command" falls short in this aspect, missing an opportunity to offer a more robust and versatile experience.

Despite this limitation, the core functionality of the plugin remains strong. The ability to customize the help command output, along with its responsive design, is a definite plus. I hope future updates will address the absence of Placeholder API support, as it would undoubtedly elevate the plugin to a new level of flexibility and compatibility.

In conclusion, the "Help Command" plugin is a valuable tool for server administrators seeking a straightforward solution for managing commands. While it may not yet support Placeholder API, its overall performance and ease of use make it a promising addition, and I look forward to seeing how the developers address and improve upon its current limitations in future updates.

Thank you for the review! I will add PlaceholderAPI in the future

Version: 2.5.9
Nice plugin, I'm glad I came across it. It works fine on version 1.20.2, with the Paper core.

Can you please add the ability to add pages in the future to make the chat look neater? So that you can click on a message in the chat and go to the second page of commands and their description.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad to hear it works as expected. I have partially worked on this feature, however recently I have become very busy with school work. The pages feature will release with version 2.6 hopefully within the next few weeks.

"bad optimization" lmao, whats wrong with that guy? Nobody pay attention to that bad review, so far I love this plugin. I was having issues with help.yml because of a plugin, so I tried this, and it works so well, in 1.20.1 too!

Bad Optimization. Better To Sort Package And Implement A Reload Command And No Need To Put `this` on getCommand Method Or Something. Average Plugin Overall
-
Author's response
Thank you for the review, the reload command is /hc reload. When initially creating this plugin, i did not keep optimization in mind. So I apologise for any inconvenience that has caused.

Version: 2.1
Oh man this plugin is really great I love it, when you can provide it with other additional features? Columns such as Forbidden commands and permission groups
-
Author's response
Thank you for the review! I have chosen to keep this plugin simple as to ensure it is easy for all users. You could try adding sections underneath with forbidden commands in the config and see how that looks. If you want to recommend any features please put them in the support Discord server. :)
