This plugin is fantastic! It would be incredible if you could add a setting in the config.yml to ensure that players can only enchant a single item in their hand, rather than applying the glow effect (enchantment glint) to an entire stack. Additionally, having a command like /glowother <player> to apply the glow effect to another player's item would be amazing. These features would make an already great plugin even better!

You can use any minecraft color code in your names. Try /rename &b&lTesting /rename. See the full list of color codes at: https://www.digminecraft.com/lists/color_list_pc.php

I am not quite sure what you mean by cmi hex colors.
You can use hex color codes with the format of &#55FFFF.

Only thing i could think of to improve would be support for using rename in anvill gui but may be impossible to implement.

Still an amazing plugin! I'd really appreciate it if you could allow the use of spaces in the /setloreline and /insertloreline commands for easy use in-game. I have to use customitems to get around this or to allow myself to edit lore through yaml without the use of a website

I loved your work. For me that I know nothing about coding and it's currently trying to create a server was really intuitive and easy to use. Also I want to say that a great addition would be that the colors that you could put on the items were also from the HTML code. Or maybe it's already available and didn't figure it out yet. Syntax for hex color codes is "&#" followed by the 6 digits of the hex color code. Example: "&#55ffff"

This plugin is excellent, however, i do have a question about it. How do you specify a player to rename, for example, /rename GabbySImon &ctest? That way you can run the command for like a perk, to rename the item. Is this possible?

This is not currently possible. The biggest reason is that it would cause issues with a player not holding the item they want to have renamed.
The better way for a similar reward would be to give the player a new item that is already renamed.

I appreciate you using EpicRename. The reason I don't officially support 1.8.8 is because it was released almost 6 years ago. I am using the time I have to support current versions of minecraft.

Useful plugin ! Maybe you can add more command like /unbreakable to make the item unbreakable or /durability to give it a custom durability
and also command to give custom effect to player holding or wearing the item

Excellent plugin! Easily make items special and add color to names. Also, if you have Craftbook /lore (lines) makes it easy to make command items that can't be duplicated.

Great plugin, glad it supports 1.16, since it does, what is your opinion on adding support for HEX codes? I think the new 1.16 feature of being able to expand the colour range on items, chat and everything else is next level.

This is a great plugin! I've never had any problems with it either. If you want to know how long I've used, take the amount time it's been publicly released and subtract about 6-12 months from it. That's a good estimation (assuming my memory is correct that this has been out for about a year or two). Maybe it hasn't!

Also, I can't wait for the copy+paste "Thanks for using EpicRename" and I also can't wait to find out if you actually give me a custom message after it or if you just say Thank You and move on. lol (My review is not a joke btw... I actually do really like this plugin)

The plugin is really cool, only what I miss is an / entchant command to enchant things. It would be a feature for unsafe enchantments very nice. Under Unsafe my is something like Sharpness 30 or Luck -1. I would be happy about such a feature very much, but really good plugin therefore also 4/5 stars.

Quick and Easy to Setup, It took less then 3 minutes to give the permissions to all the ranks... He gave excellent documentation of everything and what certain commands do

The config is just the way it should be, ability to edit majority of messages to a custom colour

P.S. If you could, would you add play.emper.me - Online to your servers list

other then that - Wonderful Plugin and I'll keep using it.

Really useful plugin! I am using it for my donators, and in my Creative world - I highly recommend getting this plugin!

A side feature that would be cool, is maybe a global rename? Meaning it changes the name of the item in-game, creative menu everywhere - EG: rename a few things like "Potatoes" to "Spuds" as a fun example.

My server is reliquiae-survival.net if you wanted to add it to the list! :D

Some bugs here and there although in all together its a good plugin. Keep up the good work. I'd also recommend to add an plugin just for Lores and not with Rename and Lore. Would make it less confusing.

Thanks for the review. I have replied to your post about the bugs. Personally I don't see the point of having a separate plugin for Lore but, I may make one in the future.

Seems to work perfectly on version 1.8.8! Nice job! I'd recommend this plugin to others looking for an easier way to rename items (other than an anvil)

Thanks for the amazing plugin, I have been using it in my server for a while and it is a great plugin. Can I suggest a feature in which you can add to the plugin which is in-game configuration reload? For example, you execute the command "/epicrename reload" and it reloads the changed configuration file and shows a message that the new configuration is now active in the server.

Very nice plugin except the fact that /rename only works on a diamond pickaxe. I would like to see it the way that I can add the items I want it to work with or that it would be another command since /rename its most likely the command people think how to rename an Item name ^^

You can just type what you want after /lore like this:
/lore This is lore. Would look like this: on the item
This
is
lore.

Use _ as spaces like:
/lore Hello_how_are_you_doing. would look like this:

Hello how are you doing.

Permissions are used in a permissions plugin so you can give those commands to players. If you gave a player the rename.use permission then they could use /rename. Private message me if you have any more questions.
