[+] Fixed an issue where Ping Cooldown wasn't working.
[+] Ping Cooldown has been made unique for everyone, someone and player pings - each can now be set seperately within the config file.

[+] Text written after the ping now resets to the previous format before the ping.

[+] Vanished players are no longer pingable.

[+] Fixed an issue where nicknames were case sensitive for pinging.

[+] Implemented PlaceholderAPI for nickname pinging purposes
You can now use the PlaceholderAPI for nickname purposes. You simply have to change the placeholder in the config.yml under "ping.placeholder".

[+] Fixed an issue with pinging nicknames.

[+] Added Ping Cooldown - it can be managed in the config.yml.

The Ping Cooldown prevents players from spamming pings quickly.

[+] Added new command /pingresetcooldown <player>

This command allows players to skip the rest of the cooldown time.
It is an Admin Command and runs under the permission 'chatpings.admin'.

[+] Added Ping Pop-Ups.

Ping Pop-Ups can be set in multiple ways like Titles, Actionbar, Bossbar and more.

NOTE - Bossbars are 1.19+ ONLY! Versions below 1.19 can still use Hotbar and Title type of Pop-Ups however.

Ping Pop-Ups can be managed in the config.yml.

[+] Added Nickname Ping Support for EssentialsX!
Simply explained, you can now ping players using either their actual username or their nickname set via the EssentialsX plugin.

[+] Added admin command /pinginfo ( chatpings.admin)
This command simply shows developer, plugin version, as well as links for support in case you found a bug or got any questions.

Additional Note: ChatPings was tested in 1.19 and should work normally, BUT it's still likely that, due to the fact that some server types are still experimental, there could be some bugs coming up.

The lang.yml allows you to change the output messages from error messages to help command descriptions to either a different language or to word it differently for yourself! And yes, you can also edit the title tag for the messages!
The lang.yml file can be found inside the ChatPings folder once the latest version of your plugin has been enabled on your server.

I've been having a few ideas myself and decided to implement them into the plugin so you're in for a treat!

CHANGELOG
[FIXED] Fixed an issue where certain characters like $ and \ would not make the pings valid.

[CHANGE] The commands cptoggle, cphelp, cpprefix and cpreload got a name change and are now called pingtoggle, pinghelp, pingprefix, pingreload!

[+] Added three new config items:
- (String)ping.everyoneFormat >> Lets you change the word to ping everyone.
- (String)ping.someoneFormat >> Lets you change the word to ping someone.
- (Boolean)someonePing.includePicked >> Let the someone ping show or hide the username of the player it chose randomly.

These additions make sure that the plugin can be customized to your heart's content, I hope you'll find good use of them!

This update's main topic is the prefix!
The command or the item in the config allows you to change the prefix used to ping players/everyone/someone.

NOTE: You cannot set the prefix to a forward slash (/), else the plugin will set that config item back to default.

Hey, I know it's been a long time!
Hope y'all have been doing well and 2022 isn't being mean so far!

The latest version makes sure to not let your server run this plugin in legacy mode when you have a server version 1.13 or higher.

HEADS UP: If you start up/reload the server with the latest plugin version there might be a NullPointerException happening. That may be because the version isn't properly registered yet!
