AsyncWorldEdit -----

Async WorldEdit - Edit millions of blocks without lag!

Version: 3.9.4
Dead on latest Paper builds. There's no support. Dev was last online more then a year ago.

Version: 3.9.4
i loaded schematic my server crashed also this plugin very slow still FAWE plugin better.

Version: 3.9.4
Schematic save doesn't work, please help

otherwise a very good plugin addon, must recommend

Version: 3.9.4
This plugins works perfectly on my server. I love its compatibility with other plugins.

Version: 3.9.4
Great plugin! Optimal performance & stability, way less issues when performing large operations than some alternatives and while it's not designed to be as fast as possible it still does really well after tweaking some settings.

Version: 3.9.4
This is a fantastic plugin. I use this plugin on my server, HalfastMC (its a UHC SMP) and the players there love it. Currently running 1.19.3. Thanks for making this!

Version: 3.9.4
Not sure if this is going downhill after the recent updates, but placing blocks at 0.01bps for 10 minutes isn't it. will have to try free alternatives.

Version: 3.9.4
The plugin is excellent it would just be perfect if it connect to core protect but other than that its 10/10.

Version: 3.9.3
Just perfect. you can move huge buildings without crashing even low end pcs. 5 stars

Version: 3.9.1
The plugin description really does need improvement, especially on the misogynist front. As a plugin focused on stability, it's not doing very well on that either.

Version: 3.9.1
Added the plugin, loaded the schem and it loaded 8 times, waited anf then my server crashes and then stops. Terrible

Version: 3.9.1
WorldEdit is necessary for a production network. That's why I've scaled the following:
- WorldEdit
- AsyncWorldEdit
- FastAsyncWorldEdit

Speed is certainly a necessity; however, that's not what users should be looking for when finding the best plugin for their network. FastAsyncWorldEdit provides speed & flexibility, but not stability.

AsyncWorldEdit is the perfect medium for ensuring your edits do not have an effect on production & private server, does not make unusual mistakes like FastAsyncWorldEdit, and ensures that everything remains fluid and sufficient.

Thanks for creating a resource that focuses on stability and not on "speed."

Version: 3.9.1
I think it's decent for what it is trying to do: be stable.
Comparing plugins is always mean or a stupid thing to do, but FAWE does a better job at adding useful tools. If this plugin would re-create those features, then it would be absolute gold. I honestly don't get why both dev teams don't work together to make the ultimate worldedit but eh. I'm hyped to see which plugin will be superior in the future.

Version: 3.9.1
Does what it says, let's me do big edits and ngl this plugin did more than what I expected it to do 5/5

Version: 3.8.4
It's a great plugin! Placing and changing milions of blocks without any harm to the performance of the server is awesome!

Version: 3.8.2
As soon as I install this plugin, all worldedit operations stop working. It just spamms in chat "You have 479 blocks queued. Placing speed: 0.01bps, 47900.00s left."
-
Author's response
Most likely there is something on the console, check that.

Version: 3.8.2
Excellent plugin, replace for worldedit, the stability it-'s perfect, good developer!, still working on it

Version: 3.8.2
Can be a bit slow at times (that's why I 4/5 instead of 5/5) and it's estimator for how much time is left is extraordinarly terrible. That being said, it gets the job done. Can edit hundreds of millions of blocks without lag or crashing the server. When nearing a billion blocks, though, it does take several hours for me.

Version: 3.8.2
FAWE is still 100% times better... Free and updates regularly. Much faster as well, tried to set 1M blocks, FAWE did it 5 sec, this plugin started spamming errors
-
Author's response
As I said multiple times: both plugins have different goals, my plugins aims for server stability.

Version: 3.8.2
Flawlessly lets you do WorldEdit operations of any size with absolutely zero toll on the server.

Never had any problems and works so much better than FAWE. Wonderful plugin!

Version: 3.8.0
Hello does it support worldedit 7.2.0-beta-05 ? because I saw the last update only support with worldedit 7.2.0-beta-04
-
Author's response
There is no update because there ware not breaking changes.

Version: 3.8.0
i have to agree with CoolGuy. what happen before the update? it would start placing blocks like right away before?? but now its takes forever just trying to remove a 16 x 16 build its going to take over 1hour it was way better before and the lag is not that big of an issue. like how can i make the plugin work like before i would like it to be quicker then what its doing now. thanks take 3years to place a big schematic in my creative.
-
Author's response
A good point it so enable debug mode do a small edit and send the log.

Version: 3.8.0
Alot slower than expected, this feels more like "incremental world edit" than async world edit. fawe works much better, is faster, and is free.
-
Author's response
You are missing the point of this plugin: it aims for stability not for speed.

Version: 3.8.0
Works really well. As of the latest release the lighting is all bugged though and makes a bunch of dark shadows whenever an operation is completed. Hope this can be fixed.

Version: 3.7.6
This plugin is great and i love it however im having to stay on 3.6.16 as everytime I update the plugin seems to just completely stop and not work, I am on version 1.15.2 not sure whats happening dont see errors in console

Really a good plugin, but i can't buy you a pizza, because i'm italian and for me, the pizza in other states isn't pizza, is trash xD
-
Author's response
Regarding the pizza I agree in 100%, the best pizza is in Italy, 2'nd best is in an Italian restaurant run by a real Italian :D

Version: 3.7.3
The download link is not working for me. With many browsers. If it is the same with you, here is a direct download. Cool plugin. :-)
v3.7.3

https://github.com/SBPrime/AsyncWorldEdit/releases/download/v3.7.3/AsyncWorldEdit-3.7.3.jar

Version: 3.7.3
Looks like the arbitrary 10 second freeze on server startup has been removed. Gonna have to do the right thing and upgrade from my previous 1-star review!

Version: 3.7.2
I am glad to see Java 12+ support added. Currently running Java 14 and working flawlessy.
-
Author's response
Make sure to keep a close eye on the plugin (probably it will show-up in the log so look there), and report issues.

Version: 3.6.20
AWE in itself is an amazing plugin, but i'm at a point where i'd rather deal with the irregularly updated FAWE and will no longer use this.

The plugin is (according to the author: purposely!) delaying your server startup by 10 seconds. There is no processing going on, nothing that needs to be calculated - it's simply a 10 second timeout because it's not the premium version.

As good as the plugin as functionally, said issue kills it completely.
-
Author's response
I told you exactly why as an answer to your PM: I believe in no free lunch. If you can't dont want to get the premium version you can always compile the plugin by yourself and have the same functionality. If you don't want to lift a finger then you the option to use the free jar.

Version: 3.6.20
This plugin is a must-have! It seriously just eliminates any lag that could possibly come from world editing and allows builders to do huge, complex edits without having to worry about whether the server is going to crash or not.

Version: 3.6.20
Incredible. Even with a beefy server i used to crash my server with big schematic pastes. With this plugin it makes pasting so efficient and not as load heavy. Im truly impressed. Well done!

Version: 3.6.19
This plugin is great and works with WorldEdit great! The only reason I am giving it a four star review is the update message (I know it can be toggled off), I plan on getting the premium version at some point, but find it a bit unfair to say there is an update, but we can not actually download it. Otherwise great plugin and it helps reduce lag. Great work!

Thanks,
Nicholas Hogan

Version: 3.6.19

Version: 3.6.19
hmm?

Version: 3.6.19
Why this plugin places an advertisment on start up of my server? This takes at least 5 seconds extra before my server is running. How can I disable this?
-
Author's response
There is no advertisement, the plugin shows only its banner. To get rid of it compile the plugin by yourself.

Version: 3.6.19
Fascinating plugin. I sure do reccoment if you are intending to use WorldEdit with huge sized builds which can not be handled by your server hardware. This amazing plugin helped me paste 67 million blocks with only 8gb ram WITHOUT crashing the server. Simply brilliant. I would rate more stars if I could.

Version: 3.6.19
I can't buy it Via PayPal(Always get refused) but the free version is good enough, BTW how to make it even a bit faster in 1.14? It is too slow even I canceled the limit.

Amazing plugin, works perfectly
~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Version: 3.6.16
Works perfectly fine on latest version (1.15.2) + PaperSpigot!
I really appreciate the fact that plugin works on different versions, even if you use free version! Not gonna lie, this is quite impressive! Nowadays, most of the old plugins don't work / are buggy on 1.15. but this one - it works! :D
Thank you, SB_prime!
Version: 3.6.16
Awesome plugin! Thought it wasn't up to date on the 1.15 release but I just read something wrong lol
-
Author's response
It is updated to 1.15 I simply did not get around to release it as jar its available as source code on github.
Version: 3.6.16
This is a great plugin and worth buying
Version: 3.6.16
I love this plugin. It saves my server when doing bug changes. Also I have a problem please disable compass navigation thing to be done with fully async mode, because it makes no sense.
Version: 3.6.16
Working great so far in my server. Got tired of trying to perform WE commands and the server needing to "freeze" for 20 seconds - This solved that problem indefinitely.
Version: 3.6.11
Freemium software. Unless you want to wait 6 months or so after a new minecraft version you'll have to pay for this plugin.
-
Author's response
Do you know the say: "no free lunch"? The source for the latest premium was released within days after premium release.
Besides the jar for the free version was release ~2 months ago not 6.
Version: 3.6.11
Amazing Plugin this is exactly what I need. Just a note, the plugin seems to work fine on 1.15.1
Version: 3.6.11
Very great plugin for eliminating the lag off of all of my servers when trying to do some big changes with World Edit. Keep it up!
Version: 3.6.11
Just wonderful optimizes WorldEdit, and most importantly requires configuration!
Version: 3.6.10
Great plugin, works good. Now I can easily //set a lit of blocks w/o making server lag
Version: 3.6.10
Thanks to the author for the wonderful plugin. Do not listen to these fools who do not even know how to start a computer. People like you make the minecraft community better!
Version: 3.6.4
Can't load the plugin. I get an error at the condole. (Can't load the plugin at the folder plugins)
-
Author's response
Then you should have asked for help before giving a review.
Version: 3.6.4
This plugin sounds great, and used to work very well. However recently the developer started some, to put it nicely, "not nice" practices. If you don't want to buy the premium version, you have to build it yourself. This is fine and okay, no problem with that.
However, you can't.
The Dev added copy protection so it is extremly hard, even for advanced users, to compile this plugin themselves.
And, to make matters even worse, he is using a custom license, which forbids
- providing a script or even an manual on how to successfully build it
- forking the project and fixing the build process
- or providing the jar
Of course the dev wants people to use the premium version, but this is just unfair practice. Without the possibility to compile the plugin myself and test it, I can't decide if I want the premium version.
I'd highly suggest supporting another dev, that doesn't use unfair practices like that
-
Author's response
Since you are addressing the how I approached the syncing premium and nonpremium, I'll answer:
1. The compilation: I would argue that an advanced software developer can't build it. I talked with couple beginners that ware able to compile it without any problems,
2. No binary releases: this is not true, I release binary (jar) releases of the latest version. Although the free jar releases are couple of versions behind,
3. Premium vs Free: To be honest if I ware want ppl to get the premium there would be no free version. Besides currently the free code is the same as in the premium. I had to add some stuff for ppl that bought the premium version before it became open source.
4. Open source: it means that source code is available, not that instructions on how to compile is available.
Version: 3.6.4
Great plugin, very helpful when trying to eliminate lag when using WorldEdit. Does its job well. Very grateful for this resource.
Version: 3.6.0-rc-05
This plugin does a great job of making world edit usable with large schematics. I have been using it during the move to 1.13 and now to 1.14. SB has twice fixed issues I was having on what I would imagine is a not easy plugin to keep up to date with all the beta/changes worldedit keeps making. Love this plugin and my server would not be the same w/o it. (-:
Version: 3.6.0-rc-05
mmmmmmmmm, i have testes on paper spigot.. but paper spgito 1.13.2 can't load this plugin, so i can't use this plugin, maybe is good for spigot 1.13.2, but i don't use spigot, so thank for update
-
Author's response
If you filed an error report and included a startup log I could have helped, now its not possible.
Version: 3.5.4
I have been SO happy with your plugin since I discovered it. I do a lot of schematic export and import, mostly to play with schematics that people have made available for download. Even massive schematics render without crashing or lagging out my server. Thank you!!!
Version: 3.5.4
the free version gets updated to 1.13 stable at a later time, please calm down people and wait.
-
Author's response
Actually the free version is already updated to 1.13, but not released on spigot. You need to go to github and compile it by yourself.
Version: 3.5.4
If you are using 1.12 and under this remains a 5 star plugin. However due to recent bad apples the dev has let the entire bunch spoil. Let me explain. 1.13 users must wait or purchase which is fair and I HIGHLY recommend purchasing. The developer is very friendly and is great at helping you as well as pumping out updates. But due to bad apples charging back their purchase, they know have to manually verify each transaction. This is a lot of trouble to go through, a lot more than I am worth doing. So for me, it means not purchasing the plugin, and instead switching to a less effective alt. This is the only thing holding me back, should it change I will gladly switch back and edit my review.
-
Author's response
First thing first you are rating a plugin that is free not premium.
Putting that aside don't blame me for not accepting each and every transaction. I do this simply because of multiple frauds from UNVERIFIED account. Therefore I will not change the model of payment acceptance.
All information about the payments is described on the plugin main page, therefore when you click buy you accept those terms. I do not force anyone to buy my plugin you can use the free version (even for 1.13 since the source is available) ergo I'm not forcing anyone to verify their account. Don't like my terms don't like my terms, don't buy my plugin.
I would rather not get couple of buck then have to pay additional 20$ for each charge-back.
Version: 3.5.4
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I like you. your mother ♥
Version: 3.5.4
Great plugin congrats... If the author could make a download now option that would be better also 5 stars for this plugin...
Version: 3.5.4
One of the most important plug-in when you use World Edit. We had some corrupted chunks by doing heavy work with WE hopefully you save our life with your work. Thanks a lot for your work.
Version: 3.5.4
The best World Edit plugin Ever!
This plugin actually puts the official world edit to shame
And the Paper-Spigot comparability update has helped us out a lot!
Thank You, Keep up the awesome work SB_prime :D
Version: 3.5.4
So slow, rare updates that usually don't change many things.
FastAsyncWorldEdit is much better alternative to this.
-
Author's response
slow - AWE never was designed for speed, its main goal is to eliminate lag, if you wanted speed you should have tried chunk commands. Besides, in 99% of the cases you could have tweaked your config for the best performance.
rare updates - I can say one thing: rare updates = mature product, feature compleat, good quality = no update needed, frequent updates - immature product, buggy. Besides I always stated that the free version will receive updates from time to time. The premium version is updated more frequently,
Version: 3.4.11
Hi i made a video about your plugin in french. It explain How to install and use your plugin. If it is possible I would like my video to appear on the spigot page of your plugin.
Link of the video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7th1TsfyuiE
Contact me on discord: Thomas#6532
Thank you Best regards.
PS: Very good plugin
Version: 3.4.11
Thank you this is a life saver!
Loads my large schematics with ease, server was cashing all the time before using this.
Didn't have any problem setting up the free version, simply put the latest jar into plugins... guess some people just cant read ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Version: 3.5.1
You are able to share free jars even if you have premium plugin. See CraftBook page for example.
-
Author's response
Actually your right, I rechecked the submission rules. I was 100% sure that you could not publish the jar, I must have misread or the rules might have changed. Thank you for pointing this out for me. I'm going to take this into consideration.
Unfortunately this does not solve the root problem: how do I make happy the free users, old premium users and new premium users. If you have any suggestions it would be great if you could share those with me.
Version: 3.5.0
Fast Async World Edit is the best free option out there, dont waste your time trying to compile this plugin, download FAWE or buy the official thing.
Version: 3.5.0
I changed my mind. You've put more time and energy into telling people they don't know what they're doing, and giving attitude to users because you can't handle the negative reviews than it would have taken to just do the right thing and providing a link to a guide on compiling, or doing a quick write-up yourself.
Maintaining my server is just one of many tasks I have for my job (No, I'm not doing this in my free time for fun), and quite frankly, I don't have time for your snark. I will figure out compiling and keep using it, so don't bother telling me not to use it if I don't like it.
You could have very easily used this as an opportunity to make this an easy transition for some free users and teach them something at the same time.
I can't see me ever buying one of your plugins now that I've seen how you talk to your users. You'd have been better off not responding to half of these users, or writing a halfway polite canned response.
-
Author's response
Don't like it, don't use it.
The only thing that pi**** me off, is that you are not reviving the plugin but the form of distribution. If it was a proper review of my plugin then ok no problem, but if its not about the plugin but if you only express your dissatisfaction about the form of distribution and my choices then I threat it personally.
I did not have to release the premium source code to public, but I did, I do not have to answer any questions about the free versions but I do. Taking into account all of the dissatisfaction about my choice of the release method I'll have to rethink my decision. Since ppl don't like it then probably its time remove all of the free releases and drop support for the free version forever.
Version: 3.5.0
well is a nope for me :) .
Version: 3.5.0
While I think it's a smart and very reasonable thing to do, releasing the source code for the plugin. I have to say, I just spent the better part of 2 hours trying to compile it, which in all honesty is fine. I had the tools I needed to compile everything after the first hour.
The trouble comes when I start to compile it and it says that some dependencies are missing/couldn't be found.
So I passed the issue on to a friend who knows much more than I do. He spent some time on it and ended up replying to me with this:
"He intentionally left out critical parts needed to build it.
What probably happened is he used a native plugin for outputting the jar but didn't realize not everyone would have the dependency."
On top of that, the dependencies that were present were so out-dated and/or the paths to them in the source lead back to the local path on his computer.
As a side note, I should mention that we are using the latest source code from the master branch, using Apache Maven.
While I love this plugin and what it does, I can't knowingly give it a good review- at least not the "free" version of it.
As for me, I'm gonna go spend my last $7 on the paid version so my server doesn't crash when I try to World Edit stuff.
-
Author's response
"He intentionally left out critical parts needed to build it.
What probably happened is he used a native plugin for outputting the jar but didn't realize not everyone would have the dependency."
The part that is missing is used for copy protection and its not needed to compile and run the source code. You complain that its missing a vital part, I always said that the plugin has copy protection and that I will not release that. If, as you said, you have some knowledge on how to compile the source you would know how to work around it. First error at your (and your friends) part: you should have tried to skip it.
"On top of that, the dependencies that were present were so out-dated and/or the paths to them in the source lead back to the local path on his computer."
There are 2 types of "missing" maven artifacts:
* old plugins that are left there for compatibility to not remove the old functionality. Again this part is not needed by 99.9% of the plugin users, and is not required to build and use the plugin.
* compiled spigot/craftbukkit/minecraft server as you know you CANT distribute it. Although it would be useful to compile this part you don't need it to compile and run the plugin.
You made the same error again as in the first step.
To sum up: you said you know how to compile the source code, but apparently you only tried simple maven compile and when you encountered problems you backed up. Or you simply lack the necessary knowledge.
You might say its to hard, no its not. Yes its harder then simply download and doing mvn package thats true, but if you have some basic knowledge about java and maven you would manage. I know this as a fact because couple of ppl informed me that they managed to compile the source code without any issues.
Version: 3.5.0
So much bad reviews because people doesn't understand why the owner did this.
This plugin has every feature from paid version, so that means owner did a very good job for all those who don't want to pay.
And even when you don't know how to compile, internet can show you everything.
But if you are so f lazy that you want everything for free without any understanding and knowlage, then why do you have a server? Just quit life plz.
Thanks developer for such a move. 5 stars.
-
Author's response
Finally someone that understands me :P
I really (times infinity) appreciate your review. Honestly, I was getting tired and I was starting to think that releasing the premium source was a mistake and that I should give it a rest and abandon the free version. Now I no longer think that :) Again thank you, this has brightened my mood and filled me with new energy to continue working on the plugin.
Version: 3.4.11
Providing only source is acceptable. Attempting to silence anyone that explains how to compile that source is just bad. Writing your own license to do that, and not having anyone competent check it is even worse.
Like I already stated in the plugin discussion, my motivations are clear: I want to provide the premium features for everyone and in the same time make the premium (paying) users happy. This approach was suggested to me by couple of community members. If anyone has suggestions how this can be handled differently I'm always open and I do not rule out that this might change in the future.
Don't like it don't use it. No free lunch, if you want premium features and can't pay for it, work for it!
As a side note complaining on the distribution method in a review without even mentioning what you don't like in the plugin itself is lame.
Version: 3.4.11
I quote this:
@StarRift
"It's an okay plugin with few errors, but the recent ploy on the developer's part with the licensing now makes me feel less inclined to support the project any further.
Just read the current license:
"4. Redistributions of source code, with information on how to compile the software
is not allowed,
5. Redistributions of source code, with removed copy right code, changed how the
project is build or with information how to do this is not allowed,"
This is an attempt to take advantage of people who do not know how to compile the source into a plugin by forcing them to pay for the "premium" pre-compiled version. If this isn't bad enough, he went as far as to try and silence any information or help from the community to compile the software within his license. All I can say is good luck with enforcing that. Not trying to sound entitled, as a plugin such as this does deserve monetary support, and I never had a problem with supporting plugins. But I don't agree with this dev's methods."
Totally agree and could've not said that better.
Great mistake there, Should be removed.
-
Author's response
If you don't like it don't use it, period.
Now seriously: If I did this only for money then I should have abandoned the free version long time ago. As you can see the free version was not changed after the premium one was introduced. That you might argue was "for money", but releasing the premium source code is not for money. How could I benefit from updating the free version with the premium features?
I believe in "no free lunch" if you want the premium features you don't need to buy the premium version but you need to do some minimal work and hopefully learn something in the process. If you don't know how and don't want to learn how then its not my problem I won't support lazy ppl that don't want to learn new stuff.
As a sidenote the old version is available as jar files for anyone to download.
Author's response
If you have read my message you would know that it was either this or abandon the free version for good. Well I think that you would prefer that this plugin was removed.
Version: 3.4.11
I don't get it. The "download link" on the spigot page just sends you to the source files, and those source files don't contain the .jar needed to run the plugin? Am I missing something?
-
Author's response
Yes you are missing something. You should read the plugin description. Its clearly stated that the free version is distributed only as source code (same functionality as the premium one) for anyone to compile. If you want the jar (and support) you need the premium version.
Version: 3.4.11
It's an okay plugin with few errors, but the recent ploy on the developer's part with the licensing now makes me feel less inclined to support the project any further.
-
Author's response
I believe in "no free lunch", therefore if someone wants the premium version for free, he needs to show some involvement and do some work for it. Regarding the compilation it is extremely simple and you need only the basic knowledge that can be found all around the internet.
I assume that you would prefer the plugin to be available only for ppl that paid? And that the free/opensource version be abandoned?
Besides if you don't agree with my views perhaps you should stop using what I have made?
Version: 3.4.11
Who would be dumb enough to give this less than 97589658647/ 5 stars?? This plugin is literally a gift from the gods...
If you have read my message you would know that you can get a compiled version if you buy the premium version. If you don't want to pay for premium access you need spend some time and compile it by yourself.
Version: 2.3.3
Kinda works with medium size buildings but freezes the entire server then crashes it if its 2 many blocks
Version: 2.3.3
Work perfectly for my server!
You guys can try my server!
play.dnightnetwork.club
It for 1.11.2
Version: 2.3.3
Works very well, but I have one problem. It appears that since I installed this plugin, the plugin "Quests" has stopped functioning in some aspects, such as using commands. The three errors I get are
ERROR Could not pass event AsyncPlayerChatEvent to Quests v3.0.0-Naomi-b${env.BUILD_NUMBER}
Caused by: org.bukkit.command.CommandException: Unhandled exception executing command 'mm' in plugin MythicMobs v4.2.0-SNAPSHOT
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Asynchronous entity add!
If you could help me out, I'd be very grateful
1. Errors should not be reported in reviews.
2. If you have an error send me a PM.
Version: 2.3.3
Worked great. For some reason the folder with the YML wouldn't populate, reinstalled and its currently building my spawn at a nice SLOOOW speed.
Version: 2.3.3
Very good to stop lag with HUGE Pastes or //sets or anything that revolves world edit slow which i wish was fast but still very good to prevent lag!
Version: 2.3.3
Great plugins for reducing lag on the server when using worldedit. Highly suggest it.
Version: 2.3.3
Works as you would expect. Let me place a 17 million block structure on my server.
Word of advice for people trying to get this to work: if you are having issues just delete the config and run the default on everything :)
Version: 2.3.3
Great plugin. No lag at all when using this! Massive builds can be built while I do other things on my server, thanks!
Version: 2.3.2
amazing plugin, i had some problems when i had to put it back. all solved now thanks to SB_prime his amazing support.a
definitely a must have for any server that runs WE.
the military builders approve this plugin
Version: 2.3.2
Nice plugin according to the description, just one problem. Where the hell do I download it? Where is the fucking jar?
-
Author's response
You can download the plugin by clicking the "Download Now" button or from GitHub:
https://github.com/SBPrime/AsyncWorldEdit/releases
Version: 2.3.2
Very well implemented plugin. Between the plugin working extremely well, and the very witty and clever author responding to not the smartest of people reviewing this plugin just completes the package. It is one of the "Must have" plugins in my opinion, and really reflects the hard work of the author.
Version: 2.3.2
great really great! needed if you use worldedit with big selections!
i bought the premium version. gotta have it
it slows everything down so there is no lag at all
Version: 2.3.2
Works amazingly literly saves me from crashing servers
Would recommend to use this to anyone every day
Version: 2.3.2
Its a very nice Plugin. I made a german Video about this Plugin https://youtu.be/ax-TpLtoWDI g
Version: 2.3.2
I feel the need to write this review to counter the idiots who think the reviews are for bug reports and troubleshooting.
What can I say? It works. The plugin does what it claims to do and does it really, really well.
I was having trouble Worldediting roughly 8,000,000 blocks on a large server with few plugins on it. I would have to do a quarter of it at a time and wait forever to avoid crashing the server.
Since then, I've added about 40 plugins including AsyncWorldEdit. I Worldedited the same build in about a minute by copying over half at a time. I didn't even try doing the full thing, but seeing how smooth that went, I honestly wouldn't be too scared to Worldedit 8M blocks at once because of this plugin.
This plugin has also allowed me to give Worldedit to players in the creative world, because it no longer causes server-wide issues.
Version: 2.3.2
It has really get rid of lag... That's not a problem anymore. BUT WHY IS IT PLACING EACH BLOCK ONE BY ONE?!
-
Author's response
Because you gave a rating instead of asking for support.
Version: 2.3.2
Awesome plugin! Wish I knew about this a long time ago. Now I wont have to do major edits with MCEdit due to the server crashing. Thank you so much!
Version: 2.3.2
PLEASE! just delete this resource and stupid config that it has !
-
Author's response
Another satisfied customer. Throwing a bunch of plugins and hopping for the best is not enough to host a server. You need a basic knowledge on how to setup everything. I assume that the you ware unable to comprehend how to setup the my plugin too bad that you decided to NOT contact me. And speaking seriously you never contacted me or asked for support if you did I would do my best to help you, and now... I'll leave that to your imagination.
Version: 2.3.2
Holy crap! I was pasting in 2 million blocks and my server was running 20.05 TPS! Woah! This is a must have for any server using WorldEdit frequently.
Version: 2.3.2
This plugin is amazing for loading in big schematics rather then trying to load it and paste and then the whole server crashes. With this it helps without making the server crash. Thanks for making this.
Version: 2.3.2
I wanted to get this simply because pasting large schematics on my server was causing the server to crash and kick everyone out. So, I gave this plugin a try. I ran into some issues at first, so I gave the dev a message on here, and they got back to me rather quickly! After going back and forth just a few times we were able to get my issue resolved, and it came down to my server not having enough free RAM to support the queue I was specifying in the config file. The dev was really friendly, and patient with me (and my memory constrained machine) through our conversation.
Now to the plugin itself. When I got it working I was amazed at the size of the pastes I could now make. As I mentioned above, my machine is rather tight on RAM so pasting large things can take as long as 15/30m but I might be able to speed that up a bit with a few tweaks to the config file.
TL;DR
Great, friendly support. Plugin does what it says, and impressed me in doing so, especially since I have a machine which has minimal free RAM.
Version: 2.3.2
Not working, and i folowed all the instructions
I see 3 problems, where you failed:
1. Not contacting me with your problem,
2. Giving a bad rating without contacting me
3. A stack trace is not a review
The fix to your problem is extremely simple, but since 1,2 and 3 no further support will be given.
Version: 2.3.2
Im using this plugin for quite some time now and its realy nice and useful. Runs on the latest mc-server version 1.11.2 with no problem.
Version: 2.3.2
Shit, It Did Not Work At All Just Fucked My Server Up My Maintanieance Cant Last Forever I Have A Fucking Decent Playbase And I'm Not Going To Loose It Because Of A Bad Plugin.
-
Author's response
You wont loose them thanks to my plugin that's for surer. You will loose them because of your incompetence. The plugin works fine IF you follow the installation instructions. But since you decided to give a ratting instead of asking for support its your problem now not mines.
Version: 2.3.2
Really good plugin! It's a incredible construction plugin, very usefull for builders. Good job men. 0% lag xd, gg
Version: 2.3.2
Excellent plugin! It worked very well for my network. People below need to realize that they can edit the job speed, but whatever. It's really great, and now my server doesn't crash each time someone does a large copy and paste! Keep up the great work!
Version: 2.3.1
Worked okay.
- has the most spammiest messages. I mean, really spammy.
- author hardly updates the free version with proper features we ask for
(yes, I understand that there's a premium version)
- message yml literally makes me want to have to use the default ones (support for &(0-9/a-b) codes?)
- jobs are really slow, properly divides the block processes though each time the blocks place, sometimes you get some spikes of lag, even with enough ram.
- works as said on the plugin thread
- eliminates some lag
I found a better and updated version called "FastAsyncWorldEdit" (FAWE) and works exactly how I thought AWE should've, I HIGHLY reccomend moving there.
Version: 2.3.0
Since version 1.10 sucks I always have to reload a plugin to work at all .. And when he reloadnu disappears and goes just set // // copy and send all this is not what it says error ..
Author's response
I see one problem here: you failed in 100%. Instead of asking for help you decided to paste a stack trace?! That even is not a review. The solution to your problem is extremely simple but since you did not want to take time to ask for support I won't waste mine to solve your blunders.
Version: 2.3.0
Great plugin, it really helps avoiding server crashes due to large edits. Appreciate the recent update!
Version: 2.3.0
Thank you for update free version. AsyncWorldEdit great plugin and help out not one administrator Minecraft server. I recommend this plugin and thanks again
Version: 2.2.2
I did something incorrect and the author got back to me quickly and helped me solve the problem and the plugin works perfectly too C:
Version: 2.2.2
Really good alternative of WordEdit, I have less lag when execute commands 5 Stars from me..........
-
Author's response
Well it's not an alternative to worldedit but thanks for the kind words.
Version: 2.2.2
Irresponsible plugin developer that causing others plugin to unable to work such as worldedit, First I was thought that worldedit plugin not working because of it bug. but after a long research i FIND OUT it is cause by this outdated async worldedit plugin and I had spent hour and hour to investigate the bug and everything just because this plugin causing problem and the developer didn't announce anything and just telling us to visit premium asycworldedit
-
Author's response
If you have read the plugi description you would know that it is discontinued I'm not forcing you to buy anything.
Version: 2.2.2
Loaded it onto my server and followed the instructions. Its a nice plugin but very buggy. Doesn't allow me to make large world edits 'Too many jobs canceled all' only small ones and does only like 10 blocks at a time.
Its a nice plugin but needs more work and a simpler download page, the current one is just made to confuse.
-
Author's response
The free version is currently not in development if you want the latest version check the premium one. Regarding the speed and jobs its only a configuration issue.
Version: 2.2.2
Ignore this stupid kid down below. Love this plugin, it helps me so much with worldediting big structures :D
Version: 2.2.2
Plugin Doesn't work.... Upon installation the server crashes. I don't recommend this plugin! I have tried multiple ways to fix it.
-
Author's response
The Plugin works fine for everyone. Apparently you did not follow the installation instruction. You should have asked for support before giving a rating, now figure it out by yourselve.
Version: 2.2.2
Good, but I really need a API Documentation...
Add a documentation and you will get 5 stars from me. :)
Version: 2.2.2
Does this work with CoreProtect? Worldedit isn't being logged, and I'm pretty sure I have correct versions of Coreprotect and Worldedit.
Version: 2.2.2
Version: 2.2.2
Thx for this amazing plugin! But there is a little problem:
Wiki config repo down D:
Please fix, thank !
-
Author's response
The GitHub repo & wiki works correctly.
Version: 2.2.2
Awesome plugin, lets me import 8 million block schematics without crashing my server. This plugin is absolutely unbelievable and the developer deserves every penny for the premium version. This plugin is so useful, and does what it's supposed to do with no flaws, whatsoever.
Version: 2.2.2
Amazing plugin, i played with it for a bit but theres one thing i was wondering, can you make it draw in blocks in layers going up vertical? is that in the premium version? if not, is that something you could do? i would like to have a private chat if so!
-
Author's response
The block placing order is based on the order that WorldEdit places them. Such a feature is planed for the premium version but its not yet available.
Version: 2.2.2
I've used this plugin before on other servers and it works great. I have one big issue though... /replace queues zero blocks. I really need this to work please PM me.
Version: 2.2.2
WORKS PERFECTLY. Solved all my problems with server crashing and errors due to massive schematics pasted. :)
Version: 2.2.2
it usually works good but not this time once had a server and I want to get the spawn onto my new server and my server crashes when the block counter queue thing reaches 3million blocks :/ well I guess I will have to do it manually by mcedit or something
-
Author's response
99% that you run out of memory. Please refer the "How many blocks can I queue".
Version: 2.2.2
Works great on 1.8.8 with worldedit 6+
Thank you for this awesome plugin. it helps me alot to do big work without players flaming in chat :D
Version: 2.2.2
Love this plugin. I run a fairly large creative server, and this plugin is extremely useful. Phenomenal work!
Version: 2.2.2
The plugin does what it says, pretty easy to use. Higtly configurable ! But maybe increase the speed to paste blocks
-
Author's response
The speed is based on 2 things: the Plugin configuration and the server specs. If you need/want a large speed bust you should look at the premium version it's up to 10x faster.
Version: 2.2.2
This plugin is a must if you want to increase your TPS whilst using WorldEdit. Still running at 20 TPS with AsyncWorldEdit and 256 MB of RAM.
Version: 2.2.2
this plugin is just a trick
everything that can be done with no crash in normal world edit, does it slowly. anything else will crash..
tried to make it place one block in infinite time and still crashed. Dumb plugin
-
Author's response
It works for everyone else. You probably did not read the manual. You should have asked for help before giving a bad rating.
Version: 2.2.2
nice plugin
Version: 3.0.1
I love this plugin!
Version: 3.0.1
Great plugin. Can you make a direct link download. I can't find the download that easily on github.
-
Author's response
You can find the latest release of the plugin here:
https://github.com/SBPrime/AsyncWorldEdit/releases/tag/2.2.2
You need to remember that I pushed to github master a few bugfixes. To get those you need to compile the source by yourself.
Version: 2.2.2
Simply a must.
Version: 2.2.2
Noice.
Version: 2.2.2
Great plugin with an great and helpful dev.
Version: 2.2.2
Great plugin. This helped a lot.
Version: 2.2.2
Use the tool since the beginning . Every now and then a little buggy ( Armor stand disappears ) . But definitely recommend ... such great works are not a problem during the game operation .
Version: 2.2.2
I
LOVE
YOU
Version: 2.2.2
Excellent - really helps with the massive pastes
Version: 2.2.2
Always one of the best plugins that I use, useful & EZ to use. 10/10.
Version: 2.2.1
I rely on this plugin! Thank you for the time you've taken to develop this over the years.
Version: 2.2.1
Absolutely Fantastic! Using it a long time now, and can´t Build without this Plugin anymore.
Version: 2.2.1
Not working for me on Spigot 1.8.3. Does not create any type of folder. Using the latest version with the latest world edit version
-
Author's response
Before rating you should try to fix the problem. Maybe contact me that something is not working? I'm 100% sure that you did not follow the installation instruction. Others do not have any problems running the plugin.
My suggestions: first read the instruction, then ask for help, then rate.
Version: 2.2.1
I just love this plugin. I used to have a Creative Plots server where everyone had WorldEdit in their plot, and this helps with the lag.
Version: 2.2.1
Great plugin, author replies to pm's VERY fast and is just an overall great guy.
Version: 2.2.1
Great Functionality,
It uses alot of your RAM after a couple edits, half my ram is gone, Overall great plugin though.
Version: 2.2.1
PlotMe 0.13b support?
-
Author's response
You can try PlotMe 0.13g bridge.
Version: 2.2.1
A must have plugin for everyone who builds huge stuff. P.S: 69 reviews
Version: 2.2.0
This is a fantastic plugin! You can move very large portions of blocks with out the server going down. The users might see some lag, but they are still able to play.
Version: 2.2.0
What else needs to be said? If I could make a list of "Top 10 Plugins for Every Server Owner", this plugin would be on it. As always, the developer delivers an awesome product that we all love to use.
Version: 2.1.5
Awesome plugin <3
Version: 2.1.5
Before using this plugin, I was only able to edit around a half million blocks. Now with this installed and working perfectly with WorldEdit. I can now edit 2 to 3 million block with no problems. It might take a little bit but its worth the wait!
AWESOME PLUGIN!
Version: 2.1.5
Wow very nice work and awesome they say life saver it is real
We will say slowly but surely
GOOD WORK
