Bought this plugin many years ago, it's still up to date every year with new things. It's working fine, no errors, no performances impact, recommand it. For me the different addons seems useless and overpriced, but the main plugin is enough for a calendar

Pretty annoying system now, spent over 3 days trying to make it work but its so bad I have no idea what to do, the dev will keep changing it and then say "Oh it's better" idk man it's pretty terrible.

I liked this plugin when I got it but each year, the dev makes some weird decisions. Now if you want to use all the features it offers, be prepared to install 7 plugins, just by this dev alone. This does not include external dependencies. This means all your configuration files are located in different folders in each plugin.

Sure there's an in-game GUI editor... if it works. I just can't recommend this plugin to anyone, if you get it and plan to use it again the following year, be prepared to redo your files. As either the format will change, the location will change or the entire plugin does.

I understand what he was going for with all the plugin jars but it was handled terribly. It does not need to be like this, everything could have been handled under one plugin. All the additional jars could have been in a sub folder within AdventCore, with the folders generated in there. It's just a mess as it is.

It is one of the best Christmas plugins in Spigot. For your money you get a package with many promotions. Whether it's the calendar or the Christmas mail or the Grinch. There is something for everyone. I've been a fan since the first hour!!!!

Working great, support is fast through Discord and you can easily customize this plugin. Also, an easy to use GUI!

I found the plugin better before than now. It's way too exhausting to set anything there and you need three more plugins to make it work ...

I have used this Advent plugin on my server since 1.7 or 1.8, the support from the dev is outstanding and I am surprised they keep adding new features and fixing old bugs. I would highly recommend this going forwards for other server devs. Works like an absolute charm every single year.

Excellent, old configs work with latest 1.19.2's 3.1.x build, upgrade and updating went smoothly. Support on Discord was swift and friendly, and helped a lot. always a pleasure to use this plugin in december.

In over 5 years of using Spigot, and purchasing many premium plugins, this has to be one of the worst developers I have ever had the displeasure of trying to get "support" with.

To be as brief as possible, the regex in the plugin was simply not working for me ( https://i.imgur.com/Cp5VpZ9.png). His initial "solution" was that (and I quote): "I really do not know, why this happened... But ChristmasMail won't be available." I (obviously) wasn't happy with this as the ChristmasMail was the reason I purchased this plugin to begin with after looking through Spigot's resources related to Christmas.

I expressed this to Sobky and the "fix" I received was a jar without the regex checking enabled. Sounded fine until the plugin couldn't see the player online ( https://i.imgur.com/2aW14xw.png). He didn't seem to look into why this was happening further, and advised me that it was "my java" causing the issue.

He became increasingly rude, with comments indicating that it is not _his_ fault his plugin is failing, and continued on about how it must be something with my system. The end of the conversation was Sobky stating that (and I quote): "it seems that your server does not support regex matching", which is an absolute pepega of a comment as I have _many_ plugins that utilise regex (and checking if players have ever been on the server) before with no issues.

Although the idea of the plugin is good, it's terribly coded (based on feedback from a developer I asked to decompile it - such as main thread SQL on constructors), Sobky offers very little "support" without able to accept there's something wrong in his code, and overall this has been a terrible experience.

I wouldn't recommend this plugin, or this developer to anyone.

Excellent plugin and a very friendly developper. If you look after an advent calendar, take this plugin !

The plugin is very configurable and EASILY configurable. Everything can be done through intuitive invenory GUIs. Woks well and players are happy. The developer is very friendly and responses quickly to help.

This is a fantastic plugin!

It's a little different from last year but I managed to get it all set up and going! My players are going to have so much fun!

Last year Floris helped me some with setting it up, and I was still able to use his guidance this year from the discussion thread we had last year, along with the help from the dev. regarding the changes from last year.

It fully supports everything included in the latest version. The plugin works very well and the maker is trying to help as best he can. Thank you very much for making this plugin.

Average rating for an average plugin. Not a fan of how the development has been handled for the 1.14 update, left to last minute with no time to test it and little time to configure it given the update required completely new reward files.

Reported a few bugs to the dev with no updates to fix it, including one that allowed players to re-roll their prize over and over to get the one they want.

For a plugin that is only used 1 month of the year, it's a shame to be 11 days in still waiting on bug fixes, perhaps things will improve for next year, do your own research into updates section if you're reading this in 2020 but as it stands currently, I would not recommend.

It's OK. I don’t think it’s bad overall, it’s a nice plugin but I feel as if a few things could change. Its all through Config and I wish it was a GUI. It’s also a bit hard to understand, maybe a YT video? :/

Well i was wondering about making advent calendar plugin for my own server and then i found this one! Everything works like i want i asked developer for some updates and he did that! Just a great plugin! Freddy0425 for 1.5$ plugin you want too much... i already created all days in my config :) just copy-paste ant then make your commands... just easy to use. I recommmend this plugin to everyone who want have a nice looking and light weight advent calender :) (hightfive) for developer! :D
