Not a huge fan of the new colouring format system that relies on MiniMessage style formatting rather than the conventional Minecraft style "&x" style codes since it takes longer to use.
I appreciate the flexibility in being able to use a wider variety of colours but the colour update is somewhat inconvenient for people who don't use the non-standard colours. Not sure if it's feasible or not but I would definitely give a 5 star rating if I could toggle between colour modes or if it automatically accept either format.
Minecraft no longer supports these legacy &-codes, and I don't want to have to main two separate systems into the future, apologies. MiniMessage is just an XML-inspired serialization of Vanilla Minecraft chat components, so it's perfect to allow for all the futures that vanilla has, hence I picked it rather than making my own, or maintaining the existing &-codes.
You should only need to configure your announcements once in a while so the additional verbosity shouldn't really be that much of an issue, considering the additional functionality you're getting because of it. Mixing and matching the two isn't feasible.
Appreciate the review nonetheless!
Version: 1.2.0
Absolutely beautiful plugin - I'm writing this review in compensation for that 1 star review somebody gave this plugin. Not deserved; developer works hard to implement changes asked of him by the community. Thank you sir developer!
Coming in the next few hours!
Apologies for the unacceptable wait
Version: 1.1.0
Good plugin. (overall the plugin is decent and works as it should however the issue with colour codes stopping half way through the text needs to be looked at)
Good plugin from previous experience however download link is still dead. I won't give a 1 star review because it's a dick thing to do but please fix it. (overall the plugin is decent and works as it should however the issue with colour codes stopping half way through the text needs to be looked at)
Great plugin and easy to configure and design in your own way. Would be nice if there was a text such as <Link:(Link)> to attach a link to a word so that players could click a nice looking text instead of a long link!
;) Glad you like it. AutoBroadcast will soon be unsupported, however with the release of a new plugin (with its features, flexibility and function) but with a lot of other nifty things, I'll be announcing it in my discord server, regardless shortly.
Version: 1.0.0
Tried using this resource, the default messages were active regardless of what I edited the configuration to.
No errors, YAML parser was fine.
The same messages worked with other autobroadcast plugins.
