DATABASE BLOATING! AVOID!

Severe bug within this plugin and the developer refuses to listen to issues. Backups are created every 5 minutes even when I have them disabled in the config.

I reported this to the Developer, baring in mind, I use MYSQL anyway... he then muted me for 10 minutes and went off about how JSON is obsolete As I said very clearly, I don't even use JSON, I don't care about personal opinions, I am reporting a bug that has been happening for ages. Why is he yapping on about JSON instead of just fixing a bug. Clearly some form of language barrier as you can't be that ignorant.

TLDR - Regardless of what storage system you use, MYSQL, JSON ect if you have the enableBackup: false setting, it will keep generating backups every 5 minutes and bloat your databases.
If you search up the discord, you'll see this has been reported frequently and ignored.

Support is terrible: the developer is rude, unhelpful, and if you reply to their comments on Discord, you get a 10 minute timeout.

Hi! First of all, thank you for this amazing plugin — I really like it; it’s convenient and has everything I need. However… I’d like to ask for help with an issue I reported on September 16, 2025 in the Discord support (ticket ID 1417603153255207003).

After adding the example from the documentation to categories.yml, the /ah command stopped opening the auction menu, and the console shows this error:
Cannot invoke "Category.getDisplayName()" because "<local4>" is null.
The support team confirmed that this is a bug related to the category cache, but there’s still no fix. I was told someone would help me, so I waited — and I’m still waiting, almost two months later. When I tried to follow up, I was either told that there’s no time right now, or simply ignored.

Please, help me resolve this issue. Once it’s fixed, I’ll gladly remove the temporary rating and leave a positive review — the plugin truly deserves it.

No way to contact them after an issue with their Discord server. If we can’t link our Spigot account with our Discord account on their server, there’s no way to reach them. I’m disappointed — I’ve been trying to get in touch with them for several months but nothing at all.

zAuctionHouse has been the best AuctionHouse plugin for a while, I've been using this plugin for a few years at this point and only once or twice have I had any problems which Max solved within a few days.

The wiki is always good to rely on on top of the annotation within the config files themselves, both are great to learning how each part of the plugin works. The only minor downside is the reliance on zMenu for some (though I've gotten used to it at this point and have replaced DeluxeMenus with it).

This plugin is great, please ignore the silly 1 star ratings from people who simply don't know how to read. I have used this plugin for a year now without any issues at all. My only request would be a way for players to /ah togglebroadcasts as some players don't like the listing spam, but others do! thanks for the hard work! :)

Stop working after update. Maybe you should tell we need to reset any config, or maybe do another update saying the last version doesnt work.

I downloaded and have been playing around with it, but there are just a lot of things that should be better for a paid plugin imo. The wiki is out of date and many links inside of configs lead to pages that don't exist, support tickets are not maintained in discord despite following up, and some of the advertised features do not work, and even though it doesn't claim to in the description which is my fault for not reading, you would think that an auction house plugin would allow you to hold auctions? I'm mostly disappointed due to the plugin not performing and the lack of support available.

Failed system for those who use it with zah-redis, every time it updates a new problem appears and we have to go complain, the dev does not test the system, several dupes have already been identified in addition to the delay in correcting them. I do not recommend it for multiserver

It's a great plugin overall. There are absolutely 0 dupes. It's super flexible. I dare you to think of a way to customize this in a way which this doesn't already have.

Plugin is called zAuctionHouse and even has a auction hammer in its logo but you can only buy and sell items and not auction/bid on them. author stated you need to buy a extra plugin in the future to be able to bid on items. there were also often bugs in the past and issues with new updates. plugin should get a full recode and actually do what its promoted to do.

After testing several auction plugins, zAuction is definitely the best!
Setup is simple and intuitive, everything works perfectly with zero lag.
The menu system is super convenient and customizable.

To put the plugin in a server 1.8 I took 2/3 days because I first tried the exact version that could work in my server version and then I came across zMenu, not only I was almost forced to put it but then started giving problems, in the test server everything was fine then I moved it to the production server and with the same pasted copy files keeps telling me that it doesn’t find zMenu. If you don’t want to waste time unnecessarily I recommend looking elsewhere for a decent plugin auctions. Too bad because the expectations were high

It's just funny. Back then this plugin didn't require any additional plugins to work.
Then the author released zmenu and it suddenly became a dependency, just to boost numbers on his second plugin.

Terrible plugin! Constant errors, configs are deleted when updating. Situation: I updated the plugin and zmenu, the plugin stopped running. I created a ticket in discord and described the problem, attaching the config. The developer asked: Where did I download this Jar, I replied that on Spigot. Then he asked me to send him my economies.yml. I sent him this file and after that he ignored any of my messages in the ticket for several days. I've been struggling with problems with this plugin for a long time since I bought it, but I'm tired of it. I will be looking for another plugin for auctions. I am considering options between Bauctions and AxAuction.
This same plugin I do not recommend to anyone. Addons - paid, to work you need to download no one needs zmenu, support is VERY BAD. Almost every update of this plugin has to delete my configs to make the plugin work. This is not serious as a paid plugin. The developer instead of helping users puts one-star ratings to other plugins for auctions, which looks ridiculous and stupid.

The developer has made their plugin zMenu mandatory, which is a terrible move. It's now impossible to create new GUIs like before. 1/100 rating! Terrible! It's not possible to create new GUIs, such as selecting a currency during a sale. I don't need your plugin zmenu... that you're pushing this way, it's garbage!

I personally tried PlayerAuctions and AxAutions, and experienced noticeable delay while opening auction with more than 200 items in total, which doesn't exist in zAuction.
zMenu's configuration is a bit confusing but easy to understand within minutes.
Converting data from PlayerAuctions is supported but not listed, wiki should be updated though.
And this is the first auction plugin that can migrate data from 1.20 to 1.21 I'd ever known, love it :)

The best auction house plugin for having tried quite a few, working with zmenu allows you to operate elements of your menu in the auction and vice versa!

If you make plugin's default configuration require zmenu plugin and without that plugin doesn't work at all, That means by default its required and if you don't wanna use zmenu then you have to go through downloading the old files and even then it throws error and doesn't work correctly. SO YES YOU DO NEED ZEMENU IF YOU WANT SMOOTH PLUGIN EXPERIANCE. IF YOU DON"T YOU CAN"T USE PLUGIN EASILY NOW. AND ALL YOUR OLD PLAYER DATA IS BOGGED WITH LATEST UPDATES.

ZAuctionHouse is the best Auction House plugin in the market right now for the following reasons:

- Managing menus is a pleasure with ZMenu, with maximum configuration and the ability to do whatever you want without having to repeat yourself so much.

- Duplication protection is far better than any other auction house plugin.

- Navigating the Auction House with many items is much smoother than with any other auction house plugin that starts to be really slow with a lot of items.

- The Redis addon allow synchronization between multiple servers which is really important for some.

Entire Item Storage breaks when updating, without any notice, nothing else changed, no support given, yes I was really mad because his verification system doesn't work when I'm getting support, it kept asking for a picture of which i didn't know what so posted a nice cartoon of thanos which admittedly is maybe not the most professional thing ever, however, this was just because i didn't know what to put, which after, i got cussed out in French without the author trying to understand the situation and help out his customer.

The latest updates has been a nightmare to handle. The requirement of zMenu is a awful decision. They say it's not a requirement but it actually is if you know a little about auctionhouse plugins..

This auction house stands out for its reliability and friendly CLI, making it a top choice in its category.

Forcing users who’ve purchased your plugin to also use ZMenu—especially when DeluxeMenu already includes all of ZMenu’s features and it worked fine without ZMenu before—is frustrating and unprofessional.

ZMenu should be optional, not a mandatory dependency. I don’t want to deal with extra steps just to access the older files.

The plugin now requires Zmenu, but this isn't mentioned clearly. Additionally, attempting to access the old files results in a 502 gateway error.

The developers do everything to get me to start using zMenu, and when I finally agree to it, it turns out that the plugin does not work on my version due to some kind of error (although it says it should work).

I've been trying to get support from the developer for 6 days now, and every day he promises to make a fix “tomorrow”.

Therefore, I have to leave this review, I hope that the developer will be more actively involved in fixing the errors of his plugin!

The worst anti duping shop plugin I have used. Uses nbt data to search for items that have been duped. Can easily changed the nbt data through the crafting bench (diamond to diamond block) to erase the zauctionhouse nbt data which no longer detects the duped item. Can also equip armor with mods/clients directly from the auction house. Only checks for the duped item when interacted with

The plugin was good, but since the dev forced their Zmenu plugin and wants to force you to use it for the menus, everything was ruined, I do not recommend the plugin since its quality is low, the menus fail if you do not use their plugin of menus, I suppose it is on purpose for you to use their plugin. Plugin is certainly multifunctional but the fact that I can not change the language is very bad, the default is French plugins that kind of translate useless, the text they do not translate at all.
When trying to translate files to their own language by reloading the plugin all reset to the original language. The result is a lot of wasted time for nothing.

The plugin is much better and more useful than other auction plugins, but why did you add a paid configuration file as default?

I'll fix the score when you make for minimum/maximum prices to set on specific currency, VAULT, PLAYERPOINTS and others!

Plugin itself is fine, when you do not update it. After I updated to 1.20.4, all items were gone and it's itemstack parts were set to null - unrecoverable without own backup. Also, developer is changing his API methods every single update + I always encounter issues while attempting to use my custom economy even when 1:1 with docs.

I am ready to change review when the updates will be actually useful. For now it seems it's just new plugins every single update without any backwards support.

author please do not change configuration files formats. after your change we removed this plugin from servers because all our settings was broken.we will use another plugin.

It's a wonderful plugin. However, the dev hardcodes 2 commands into the plugin that allows non-staff(regular players) to view /ah version and /ah addons. Not all servers want to just display information like this. There's no way to disable these cmds.

Truly the best auction plugin has excellent performance is very customizable and its options do not bring all auction plugins, plus its redis addon is 100% recommended does not throw errors and allows you to have this amazing plugin in multi-servers I recommend it 100%.

Works as intended for the most part but I personally do not agree with two of the commands, but no bugs so far or issues with the functionality.

All the promised features work beautifully.
What I appreciate most is the ability to regulate what can and cannot be sold + reliability against duplication.

Very cool and powerful plugin. In the future I would like more support for MMOItems. (Categories by type of item)

Very well-made plugin with an absurd amount of customizability. Wiki is extensive with examples and explanations for things that may not be obvious to the user upon the first run. I think the implementation of a priority system is really unique and adds a lovely touch to the plugin. Zero complaints, thank you for the plugin :)

Pretty good, has a lot of customisability and I haven't experienced any bugs. Documentation could be better, there is limited info on the spigot page, some additional info is on the wiki and some is in the discord. Lacks centralisation of information. This makes configuration not very clear and you will only get support if you sign up to the developers website.

10/10 all the plugins, and the support on the discord is awesome They helped me in everything I asked, even in configurations:D

Let's get started, it's simple; This plugin that I have been using and validating since 2020 is perfection, it is improving day by day. This is the best auctionhouse plugin we will find on the market.

Ignore BoolyStudy review, that dude is really stupid and leaves bad review everywhere, he has 0 iq and is just useless. The plugin is great, I've been using it for years and it's perfect for any type of gamemode.

It's not custom, editing the categories menu brings errors if you try to add new categories, also the discord webhooks brings errors if you try to edit and add image, etc. the developer was informed, but I see that I did not update. I will change my review when there is an update on this error, since in its description there is a mock-up of its complete version, it is supposedly better than the others, which is a lie.

The Best Auction House plugin ever very worth it for its price and very open when it comes to editing commands and messages it even has a huge API which is amazing.

I gave 3 stars at first, because category are not working, so he told me to contact him, and he said it ''this is quite normal'', so I talked with him, in english all the conversation from start, and goes and switch to french for no reason saying I love this person, telling me that i am strange just because im talking with him saying that the category thing is not working, quite normal for him, for me not.

Best AH plugin I've tried! I could easily replace old AuctionHouse with this better plugin. Also, I could implement my own currency. There are some visual bugs, but it's normal :) If the rating was possible in percent, I would give it 100%!

One of the best AH plugins out there. Had one issue and was fixed and helped with immediately on their support discord. 10/10 would buy again.

Here is my opinion on the zAuctionHouse plugin: this plugin does not cause any lag unlike its competitors, it is much more complete and more practical, it even has a discord integration as well as an API for the developer, moreover the developer is responsive and corrects minor bugs, I really recommend this plugin for your server

ok, so this is an update of my lastest review, the plugin did get better, and lots of things where fixed, i did talk with the developer and it looks like he wants to make the plugin better, i think that there are still some things to do, but the plugin is working mostly fine for me now and im happy that the developer did something about what heppened to me.

PD: if you buy the plugin remove player heads from being sold, at least for me that crashed my server

Some strange bugs, sometimes players lose their item while they shouldn't, I've been waiting for a fix since months but still nothing...

Im sorry for this bad review, the plugin was working fine for me at first, but now its giving me lots of problems, i reported them but i dont see any fixes, my players sometimes loose items because if they have their inventory full sometimes the detection is not working, and now its giving me lots of issues with tps drops out of nowhere.

the developer said he will make an update recoding more things in more time, but im giving a bad review because the plugin is giving me lots of tps drops and now i cant do anything more t ofix it than removing the plugin for my server, but guess what my players items are in the store, so i still cant remove it.

i dont recommend buying the plugin in the current version, if the plugin gets better in a future i may change my rating because i dont like to give bad reviews but right now i cant even use the plugin as intended.

Seems like an alright plugin, but is completely ineditable as every change you make gets reverted on restart because of the .json file format.

Now I don't mean to be the odd one out but this plugin just didn't work for me. I was looking for a lightweight alternative to CrazyAuctions (free) that would be easy to configure but boy was I wrong. There is no wiki or comments in any of the files anywhere that I could find. The files are also .json files which are a pain to edit compared to YML files. If these were fixed I would rate this higher but I just can't at the moment.

Very Simple Setup and have Multilanguage. And has Discord Support! The Author is very friendly.

Really enjoy this plugin! We have a few bugs that need adjusted. I didn't see a support form anywhere so I'm leaving as a review. Would love to discuss bug fixes more in a discord or something.
Issue - If players put a shulker box filled with items, a player skull, and weapons that need repaired into the /ah and someone buys it the player who bought the item cannot retrieve the item. During the next server restart the items disappear from the /ah (bottom left book).

the best thing of this plugin is that you can connect to your Discord channel and the bot will send a message when someone sells on auction!
the developers are pretty responsive as well!
