work good but the "/oregen edit" when u go to edit the chance it errors and doesn't work. so you have to edit the chances in the config and do reload to apply

This is great oregen plugin except it had trouble compability with SuperiorSkyblock2 with JetMinions.

Also /oregen edit is broken on 1.21.1 but plugin still works.

I give 5 if this fixed.

Unfortunately, the plugin is currently almost unusable. Too many bugs. These are not fixed even after multiple requests. It's a shame about the money, but well, it's a risk when you get such devs.

Its a good one. I used it a lot with uSkyblock. But I changed my sky block Plugin to SuperiorSkyblock. Is it easy to use it with, and let it hook in? I mean, this one has a integrated system with cobble rank up and so one x) I recommend it.

Developer helped me fixing hook with superiorskyblock, appreciate the help, he sent me a fixed version in hours. Recommend it.

Sadly this plugin was working before so smooth, but he stopped giving support for superiorskyblock2 hook on superior skyblock releases from jenkins, he only gives support on spigot releases.

I can't use spigot releases since developer fixes too many bugs on latest releases on jekins, and he optimizated other things too.

There's a superiorskyblock api on each jenkins release, so isn't an excuse.

If he update the hook to latest on jenkins I'll update my review, either way I won't be able to use advancedoregen, so it's useless on any skyblock server using superiorskyblock, as if you find any dupe bug on superiorskyblock and you update it, advancedoregen will be useless as generators won't work.

MasterCake has been so helpful to me with this plugin - even though I was asking for compatibility with a new custom item plugin he was unfamiliar with - he was able to make his plugin compatible with it. And when the dev of the new plugin changed his format and informed me a cobgen would not be able to be compatible with his plugin, MasterCake found a way!! ...and all of this during his uni exam time. I am amazed at the generous heart and talent of this dev. This is the generator plugin for spigot without a doubt, but the support if ever needed is outstanding.

1.6.41 is the best version, the newest version makes oregen broke if "lava is not flowing", the lava that flows only work.

One of the best plugins on spigotmc , developer is so friendly and capable of adding new features to plugin. I asked a new feature about changing orders of generators and he added it in one day excellent support and nice plugin.

Editing the Generators ingame with the GUI is a nightmare unless you set everything up the right way from the start. You cannot rearange the order in wich generators are succedded. you have to delete all generators and startfrom scratch.

Editing config manually has never worked unless you turn off your server, save the config.yml file and then startup your server. Editing the config file while running, and then using ingame /oregen reload will overwrite your config file.

Generators work the same on every world... they are NOT per world, so lets say you are running skyblock where your players are making cobblestone generators in the overworld, the nether and the end. then the cobblestone generator ONLY makes the generator run overworld blocks. This is not configurable. Developer suggets to manually do stuff.. but thats not the point of having a plguin thats suppost to do stuff for you (to eliminate manual crap). Also the plugin maker suggests to make the generator work on per-world permissions. this only works if you have a skyblock where players are not coopering. And in almost all situations you want to give your players the ability to coop.

In the discord i have asked for help 8 times now, only 1 time have i had a reply from another premium user. so support is poor to non-excisting.

I have been using advanced ore gen on my skyblock servers for years now, and I have never had an issue with it. Over that time I have used both it's built in GUI to edit my generators, and also done it via the config files. It is a plugin that just works, and I had never given much thought to it, however I recently went to their discord to see when the 1.16 release would be coming out, and ask if they would consider at some point adding support for the recent mc change that allows for adding new items (and ores) to minecraft worlds. I was surprised to have MasterCake himself respond to me almost immediately on the discord. He asked me several questions about how the new ores were added and other things I was unsure of how they were done. He was very interested / curious how the ItemsAdder (that is the plugin I use) was implementing the new ores... He started experimenting with the code to see how it was being done and if he could possibly add it -- I had no thought to him doing it that day - just an suggestion I had thought of that would be a great feature (if it even was possible) .... That evening he asked me to try a jar file he had made, he had literally upgraded his plugin to 1.16 and had the basic support for the new ores! It is difficult for me to comprehend how a dev can grasp another developers (pretty complex) plugin and integrate it into their own so quickly. Not only did MasterCake do this, throughout the day as we typed I learned some of what I will call his 'coding ethics.' When I told him about using AdvOreGen for years w/o issue he told me how he extensively tests his plugins. When he presented to me a working jar to use that supported 1.16 and the new ores, he told me it would not make it on to spigot until he had updated all the documentation and done his testing. Pretty amazing, compared to some devs who have sold me plugins that do not do what they advertise and the devs have no interest in fixing. AdvOreGen is the best oregen I have found for skyblock, and I have tried, probably eight or more before finding it. Very happy with this plugin, and although I never had cause to meet MasterCake before now, very impressed with his support also.

Honestly, the best plugin I have ever bought online. It comes with many possibilities and flexibility for any type of your server listed as compatibility. I use it for my SkyBlock server and honestly, it works very well. Also, the plugin is very lightweight so it does not even lag the server! I would rate this plugin 10/10 as the creator also helped me with some issues I got. He has amazing support and responds pretty fast as well. Honestly, the best experience I have ever gotten. Thank you and recommend this to anyone that wants an extra + on their server.

Simply the best custom ore gen modification that includes easy GUI for ingame editing, permission management system.You'd be absolutely out of your mind not to take a look at this great plugin and its rich features. The plugin author is ACTIVE and loves hearing feedback about the new features he continues to drop. I'm a MasterCake fan and you should be too. It's simply the most polished custom oregen plugin out there.

Amazing plugin. A fantastic addition to my Skyblock server, being able to configure in-game via the GUI is very useful and the AFK feature gives you control over AFK miners - that alone was worth the purchase.

I ran into a minor problem shortly after installing but the author was extremely quick with his response; he fixed the problem and released a new update within a matter of minutes. Highly recommend - great work!

It's a good plugin but i think you should open a discord support or something because i want to ask you if you can add the posibility to the guy that mines take his permission no only the owner. bcs if the owner of the island is not connected it gives the default oregen and not his perm oregen (sorry for bad english, i'm spanish)

GUI problems that the author would have found himself if he would have tested this build first before releasing it. I rolled back to 1.2.4.
