Here is my review of this plugin from my perspective.

This plugin is very well made, the gui is good, making kits is easy, and arena making isnt hard at all, their are not any flaws except from one.

The config.yml and menu.yml don't show anything about removing a kit from the menu gui, this is a very critical flaw to the plugin, I searched around in the /kp help list, looked in the discord but the only support they had was a discord bot, which wasn't very helpful and not very supportive. This makes it difficult for people to use luckperms to solve this issue with removing kits form the menu gui because the plugin automatically gives you a chest and compass which also doesn't have anywhere to remove this. I tried using /kp reload but the only thing it did was, you guessed it, nothing.

Please be warned before you download, because its basically impossible to fully remove a kit.

great plugin. had an issue with setting up the return to hub and another plugin blocking tnt damage the creator quickly responded and helped me fix the tnt issue and the wiki helped me setup the return to hub

Wow! great plugin! can't believe its free. pretty much works straight out of the box with a little bit of configuration, but there are many options for customization to set apart your PVP server/world from the rest. One suggestion I have for the future would be implementing death/kill effects, but that isn't a gripe on the plugin, just a suggestion :D

the leave command is not working and i have tried to edit it in the config file but cannon find an acurate way to do so. i have a few worlds on one server i just want the return to hub thing to put you back in the survival world with nothing in your inventory

good plugin but can you add an option to don't clear what you have in your inventory like I created a kit, and I had an apple and diamond sword before selecting the kit, and when I get the kit, it cleared some stuff from my inventory. also, the option to don't fusion using anvil or enchanting kits using an enchanting table, another one is when you die just don't drop parts of the kit, and the last one is add a price for kits, where we can sell kits. thanks I hope you read this

for those who do not know how to let deopped players get kits and abillities, you should get the luckperms and luckpermschat plugin

My players are going to love this. Only two things stopping me giving the full 5 stars. 1) The documentation could be clearer (specifically abilities). It's tricky to understand how to give abilities like TNT trails to custom kits. 2) I can't see any way of being able to display a Level/Experience leaderboard so players can see how they rank against each other. If it has that it would be perfect.

This is a really good KitPvP plugin, mainly because it's free but it also it has so many cool features. I use this on my server and players enjoy the kits, featuring abilities for them to use.

The support is good as well, the author got back to me and helped me fix the issue I was experiencing, the discord helpers are also happy to help in their free time.

Excellent plugin, The author himself is very responsive, proper documentation, healthy performance TPS wise, the discord for support is very responsive, in case you have any issues, they would get them solved or help you solved 5/5 Stars from me.

Overall I would give the plugin 5 stars. It works great on Paper 1.16.3 with no problems or issues. Very simple to set up and basically works 'as is'.
The only negative is the Discord support.. nobody seems to be there to help or answer questions - looks like everyone ends up helping each other.
I don't see the point of having a Discord support if the 'support' is not there.

Again.. great plugin and works great, but if support is offered it ideally needs to be better.

This plugin cause a huge overload on your VPS that make all the other process crash . Worste support ever , 8 day to get an answer like "IDK"

overall a very good it pvp plugin except for one reason: you can not have items with custom nbt. things like a shovel that deals extra damage is only achieveable with enchants, i want to be able to use attributes and other nbt like spawn egg mobs. another small issue i ran into is that the menu is too small, i could only have around 54 kits. it would be great if a 2nd page was avalible. would definatly recommend to a friend.

After updating at Version 2.0.9 the Mushrooms are blocks which can be placed. In the earlyer Version this was fine. I hope this will be updated! But All in All it is a very good Plugin

This is the best KitPvp plugin, but i found 1 problem... when i make custom kits, the pootion effects do not work properly... for example Kit Rabbit with Jump III, instead of jumping it gives me speed... another example is instead of slowness it gives me mining fatigue. can you fix it thanks <3

Works fine except that it has one GLARING issue, arrows don't work, i thought this was only with me but after re downloading the plugin it seems that this is an actual issue. They just bounce off other players, im using 1.14.4, no errors in the console. I have tried changing everything in the config that might be related but to no evail.

3 stars for clarity of purpose (at least for dense dudes like me), 5 stars for achieving that intended purpose:
The thing that, for me, wasn't clear until I spent many hours w this plugin is that it is designed for a dedicated PVP server. Or, it seems, that if you designate an arena spawn in one of your main worlds, KitPVP presumes the entire world exists for one purpose -- PVP competition. From the time a player joins your server, and if it's to a world that you innocently put a KitPVP spawn point, that is the only place you will be spawned, in the arena and ready to do combat. Joining users are teleported to arena spawnpoints and given kit selection tools.

I couldn't find a way to make KitPVP allow for "PVP on demand", rather it is determined that you will be in arena mode if you join a world with an arena in it. For me, it doesn't fit the server model I'm after. I want to have arenas place in various places in a larger survival world.

All that said, if I was running a PVP competition *only* type of server, or was willing to limit PVP competitions to single dedicated worlds, this would be the go-to plugin. It is feature rich and works seamlessly -- in that mode.

I do wish dev would loosen up the 'presumption of PVP arena mode" and allow it to be switched on and off. I suppose if I wanted to have dedicated arena-always worlds, that would work, but it's not the plan I have in mind. Not the dev's fault if it doesn't match my design requirements.

hello the plugin is overall good BUT there a few problems like when you create a kit it doesnt save the lore or name of the items, and with potions wit just gives you a water bottle. lastly it would be really good if you'd add a shop system where you can buy kits....

My default players don't receive the WATCH or CLOCK to go back to the hub... Only OPs receive it. How do I enable it for non-ops

The whole plugin is great, but ran into one "concern" -- What if, a player leaves the spawn without a kit. Follows a player, and waits for the right moment to then select a kit. While that player isn't expecting it, as it doesn't teleport them back to the spawn point. Or limit them from leaving Spawn. So to me, this seems like it could be easily abused. Is there a setting in the config that I missed? Or? -- Outside of that, it's a great plugin. But I feel that little slight issue can be badly abused.

The only thing is I'm having a problem with creating kits, but overall this was such a great plugin! One suggestion: make a join sign system for arenas.

Excellent update, fixed most of the bugs I was having. This is an overall extremely customizable plugin and I would recommend it for any kitpvp server.

The author is also very pleasant and nice to work with. Almost like he's Canadian.

This is a very good plugin as I have set up my server with it, I have created 7 more kits by myself and upgraded the level system up to 1000 levels. However, when I set myself to level 1000, and I will still go up and the chat will show I have no more levels. Is there a way to set an upper limit so I won't level up even further after 1000? This is a Great plugin for making Kitpvp servers. I like it. But the Only problem i have is it doesn't allow economy plugins like coins and KillerMoney plugin to work which makes it almost impossible to make shops. Like if you want to make Kit shop or Rank shop You can't actually make it work. Although it is one of the best KitPvP plugin you can ever see there are some things i would like to see.
1) I would love to have a feature in plugin to give players Money when they get kills and customise the amounts.
2) the Death countdown sometimes glitches and players get stuck in spectator mode. So i think is could be fixed.

I am using this on my server, and i like it, the only complaint is that the console throws an error when trying to use an enchanted gold apple in a kit but everything else works afaik.

Great plugin but there is no rankup and you can't change the default kits which is very annoying!!! Also the scoreboard gliched out once.

I don't think KitPvP plugins can get better than this one, fully customization and you can disable / enable just about any feature you have in mind.

This plugin is very user friendly as well as very customizable. It lets you change almost every aspect of the plugin. It supports PlaceHolderAPI which is great if you don't like the already fantastic scoreboard function built in and want to get a separate scoreboard plugin. If you don't understand something or have a question, you can always head over to their discord server and receive a response very quickly (usually from the owner too!). I really recommend this plugin to kitpvp server owners. Good work on this plugin, and I am really looking forward to leaderboards and leaderheads support in the future! :)

Exellent plugin, but one feature that would be nice is if you can buy kits.

For example, you kill somebody can get $20. Now mabye in a different item, you can select kits to buy, and this kit costs $80. It would give a new goal for players to reach, to buy this certain kit. Thanks for the really cool plugin.

PlugIn is rly good, but I have a problem. I just want to set up the pvp mode in a server where survival and pvp is mixed, so I want to set it up only in an area.

Main problem is when ALL players lose all items to spawn in the arena spawn to be ready for battle, how can I reserve the plugin just for those who want to play ONLY pvp?

Also...is it possible to stop the pvp mode? I want to go back to the survival stuff when I don't want to play anymore pvp, is this all possible? Thanks!

Tested this plugin and the kits are very well made, but theres a few problems:
-tnt is instakill (tried with different armors, including prot 1000 dia and it was instakill) (you could make the base damage to 1,5 hearts + extra dmg depending on armor)
- you can use tnt in spawn (i use worldguard and i've set invincible to true and tnt to deny on spawn region, doesn't help) (you could make so you can set the spawn area that determines where you can use ablities and where you can't
- scoreboard shows up after you kill somebody (this might not be issue with plugin but im mentioning it lol)
overall the plugin is good.

I like this plugin but i cant use my permisions exe groups in the caht as a prefix and i cant make a custom kit by using a config..... But over all it is a suer good plugin.

Exelent updates and its a problem have you add tpspawnonjoin: true/false? for not install other plugin of set spawn o forcespawn a player :D

Hey, I said this before but I want to change my review. Developer is awesome he responded to my suggestion in almost 12 hours. I said a good suggestion would be leaderboards and he said it would be in his to-do list. So glad this plugin has a good dev. 1 more suggestion.. Could you possibly add an item where you can right-click a player and 1v1 them in an arena that we can setup? Thanks!

Great Lightweight Kit PVP plugin, this uses virtually no resources, my server barely breaks 700mb with a full arena. The developer is very responsive on discord, and happily works with you to troubleshoot any issues. This resource despite being customisable can also just literally be dropped in the plugin directory, and it is ready to go after setting the spawn. 10/10 for ease of install. Thanks

I Mean There Is A Problem When They Join The World The Players Dont Get The chest to select a kit they need to use the command other ways its good

There is an error, when you open the menu to select the kits it says that the Fighter and Archer kits have the same skills. If you try to change the writing it does not work, it turns out they have the same skills.

It works really good, but I have 1 problem. On my server I am using Multiverse for 1 hub world and 2 different KitPVP worlds. Because of this, I can only set 1 KitPVP spawn so only one of the KitPVP worlds will work with this plugin. Is there any chance you can change/fix this? Thanks.

Great plugin, It does everything you could expect from a PVP plugin, It is not even neccesary to custom the Kits because they are awesome just the way they are.
I have some trouble with it and the dev help me very fast so thanks for that.

Very good plugin, But is there a way to make it when someone joins, they get the kit gui item when they join? Also for some reason when you kill a non oped person they respawn in the place the spectator was instead of the KitPvP spawn, can you please help me with these problems?

Hey good plugin, but I'm having a problem because whenever I join my server I'm taken into survival and the chest and clock just pop back in my inventory and its really annoying, and people who join can't use the /kp commands help?
