If you want to make a rpg style server, this is a must have plugin. It is amazing how much stuff you can do with this plugin. It takes some time for you to figure out some stuff that you need to do in order to the quests that you are creating work properly without any exploits, but it definetely worths the time you have spent.

It's actually insane that this plugin is free. It takes some time to learn it but it's totally worth it if you want to create a deep-developed RPG server.

Probably the best plugin for Minecraft! Im using it a lot for a few months and it has nearly unlimited possibilities outside of doing simple quests. Theres also a Discord where questions and problems get solved by the BetonQuest community very quick! 5/5!

It's absolutely worth it to check this plugin out and go learn the ropes with this plugin. You can make lots of things with this, and it's not even limited at all for just making quests. Once you learn to use this plugin then you just unlock so many possibilities for creating many nice things.

The plugin is incredibly well maintained too. Great documentation, literally everything what you can do with this framework is fully documented. Updates for the plugin are on a very regular basis as well.

And it doesn't stop there, either. The support you can get for this plugin is just stellar, and probably better than a whole bulk of premium plugins all combined. Go ask away in the discord server, and many people are always willing to help you with a lot of things.

In conclusion: you get a plugin that's incredibly well maintained, offers you tons of possibilities for your minecraft server, and amazing support. I haven't even mentioned yet that it's a free plugin. So basically, you get a free plugin that should be a supreme premium plugin.

Fantastic plugin. The learning curve is steep at first compared to other plugins, but once you've got the hang of it (and you will, with their phenomenal Discord community) the possibilities are endless. Things get even better if you use version past 2.0.0, which is in development - better as in more features and it saves a lot of time while writing your quests.

Can't believe this plugin has been in active development for so long and I only just heard about it around May. Can't believe it's still getting better and better. You could build a whole game or server on this plugin, it's just that good.

If you're interested in writing quests and making a truly unique and memorable experience for your players, you'll choose this plugin. Happy to be a monthly donor. This is a free plugin, but it should be in the $20+ range, which only says great things about its developers and the community surrounding it. This is good stuff.

This is by far my most favorite plugin right now.
Although it is quite hard to understand at first the increadible range of possibilities makes this (in my opinion) the best questing plugin out there!

Personally it took me about 3 days to make my first decently complicated quest (Tic Tac Toe against an NPC), so you will definetly need some time to understand the plugin but it is for sure worth your while.

If you are confused with the documentation, dont worry.
Discord community is helpful too, so there's no way you will be confused even though it would seem harder than any other quest making plugin.

This plugin just looks tough to understand but when you will master it, you will understand the strength the plugin packs in it.

I've had a few times where a specific thing wasn't working for me and they just fixed it withing a day. No problems at all.

For me personally it's a way to create all kinds of fun experiences and sometimes solutions for problems which other plugins can't solve. It's just one big toolbox, which makes anything possible that your creative mind can come up with. Have fun!

It's powerful, maybe too powerful. Fully customizable quests, that can do...anything. No seriously, there is no limit to what you can do with this plugin. Honestly, there is no other Quest plugin with nearly the same feature set and integrations.

An absolutely stunning plugin of high quality and versatility. Though there can be a learning curve, that's only because the possibilities offered are nearly endless. You won't find a better NPC dialogue or quest plugin.

Excellent plugin. It has such an incredible and wide variety of possibilities that I can't even possibly begin to list them all out. BetonQuest extends so much further than being a simple Quest plugin. It can be used as a menu system, a shop system, reputation for areas/worlds/npcs, it can be used to create attributes like intelligence/strength and all your various RPG needs. I've created shops, reputations, charisma checks, sneaking quests, theft quests, fetch quests, escort quests, gathering quests. You can even create your own levelling system if you have the knowhow and the time. It's to the point where BetonQuest could replace a good 80% of the plugins on spigot. There's so much that you can do with this plugin that it's honestly bewildering. You can create simple quests to adventures that span across worlds and dimensions. You can check for a multitude of player conditions that a lot of other plugins don't even begin to support. Lots of variables and placeholders too that just add even more usage out of it. More and more features are constantly being added to the plugin. The staff is incredibly helpful on Discord and bugs are fixed usually within the day. I cannot recommend this plugin enough, even if you don't have quests in your server, it's a must-have for just for its versatility.

Firstly, i wanted to thank the developer for making so many things possible with 1 plugin, and making it work so flawlessly.

For anyone considering downloading this, it has a steep learning curve but is greatly accesible thanks to great documentation and amazing support from the developer and other users!

I have never felt so welcomed and helped in a discord plugin server.

Where do i even start feature wise?
It can do anything you want, as long as you can think of a small amount of logic to make it happen. No need to install 1000 plugins for every little thing. Stuck or dont understand something? Ask on the discord.

I love this plugin! I've always loved RPG games, so being able to make my own quests and design NPCs(using citizen and eventually denizen after I get the hang of the coding for this. Don't be afraid to join the discord for help; everyone there is super kind and patient(although you should look at their website first, don't skim it like I did)!

I can't believe this plugin is free. Even if it was 50 dollars, I would buy this plug-in. I'm Korean and I didn't know how to use it, so I constantly asked Discord, but they told me everything without missing anything.

An incredible plugin. Wouldn't know what survival servers would be like without this glorious master sword. It's clean, fast, and very modular.

This plugin allows you to create quests beyond any limitations. It has opened up a lot of creativity for my server and is a must in my opinion for any server even if you do not plan on having traditional 'quests'.

The support is also fantastic in the discord server and offers a very friendly community of users who want everyone to succeed.

Although this is a bit wrong, I hope there is a stable BQ version that supports version 1.12.2. This is actually my second review after 2 years which goes to show the complexity and skill behind this plugin. Comparing it to other quest plugins is simply not good because its so powerful I would put it on the level on a minor scripting language. I have seen an entire range of developers come and go from the OG Co0sh to the current team and all of them have given it 110%. So, my review of the Plugin after about 8 hours of using it:

**Pros**
- Insanely customizable, I'd say it provides the greatest system for creating Quests and many other things. This Plugin allows you to do soo much, even more than just Quests, it's kinda insane...
- Documentation is probably the best I've ever seen for a Plugin
- Deserves to be a Premium Plugin considering how quality the Plugin itself and support is
- The Tutorial to learn this Plugin is very easy to learn from, they provide great examples and help you really learn the plugin itself
- Provides excellent error reporting so you can easily identify what you did wrong
- Allows and even promotes excellent organization, which is a big thing for me who has 80+ Quests
- Developers are extremely active and update their Plugin very quickly

**Cons**
- Extremely complicated compared to every Plugin I've ever used, but this isn't a bad thing
- Requires time, dedication, and decent IQ to learn and use this
- Not a Plugin you can easily pickup and start making Quests with ease (I'd 'recommend' the "Quests" Plugin if that is what you want)

One of the best plugins out there, and the best quest plugin. Works with 1.13 if you use the development builds, and a friendly discord group where you can ask help, where people reply really fast.

Only thing that I missed was a party system, (create a party, requirements of a party number of 6, for example, etc) will it be added? at 1.10 If so, will the 1.9.2 quests work as well in the 1.10 version and be able to switch to "party"?

But is it possible that you can fix it, that an empty map, which is marked as a Quest Item turns into a proper map after a right click.

Sir, I don't know why you did not get any dumbass 1, 2 stars rating "It don't work", ... Maybe this freaking awesome plugin is too hard for them, even not think about download. I can't explain how much I love this plugin. In my non-keep server, I can give PK player a PK tag that no NPC want to trade with them again. They must do a quest to be forgiven. Now all of my player prefer PK then do this quest than the main story. Anyway, keep up the good work man !!!

Wonderful plugin, although it is of course "just" a tool and you will need to put a lot of work in your quests to use its full potential.

Best quest (and not only quest!. I use some features for scheduling server tasks, in example) plugin. Many features included (you can make almost everything you want and check nearly everything, when creating your quests), and continious updates which brings new options. Dedicated editor and uploader applications. Fast responce from author. Oh... forgot to mention: plugin very stable :)

It's amazing, just pure amazing! Setting up the discussions with NPC's demand more work but that's because you are in full charge of what is being said offering something no other plugin like this (serioulsy isn't really anything "like this") can offer. I use this from all to quests to information. You need help with how something work, talk to the specific npc and he'll guide you thorugh it.
The things doable with this is almost unlimited. The events you can start, the way you put an invisible tag on players to know what they've done, what they asked etc. Just amazing.

Please never stop updating this. I'd need to redo my server adding 20+ extra plugins and still not be able to fix it.

Was looking forward to using this until it said *BUY* the editor. Why do I need to BUY it? I don't have the money for that, I need money to run the server. Inconsiderate to owners who don't have much money and need all of their in running the server...

This is the best questing system available! It's better than any other free or paid version. I'm using the latest dev build with spigot 1.10 and it works flawless.

You can make complex quests with multiple outcomes depending on the choices you make. The reputation system is brilliant with the ability to set different categories. Choices you make can effect the ability to pick up some missions but not others.

The only drawback is that it's a complicated system for setting up quests for non-technical people like myself.

I would like to see more examples of how to setup different style quests like delivery quests and mob kill quests (mythicmobs)

But you said in the tutorial you should type

This is an absolutely wonderful quest program. I have used it for several months now and greatly enjoy the flexibility it gives for writing conversations. One thing I would love would be an objective that watches for the player to type a specific word.
But really, this plugin is awesome.

Amazing plugin, works great, great performance, and almost limitless possibilities! Absolutely loving it.

This plug-in has near limitless possibilities. I thus far used it to create tiered daily systems, salary systems, kill quests, and am half way through a story arc with close to 20 hours of game play, all just from the capabilities of this system. Twice I have found limitations and twice a new dev build overcame those limitations in days. It may take some users a small learning curve to get used to the conversation system but it is worth that time if you're looking to create the most immersive worlds you can imagine on your servers.

This is a brilliant plugin. It is so much more than just a plugin for quests. It is a set of tools that allow you to do so many things.

I feel like this is a must have for any server that wants to add functionality to citizens NPCs even without using it for making quests. The possibilities are endless. You can have very immersive complex conversations that can be used to explain server functions, create shops, teleport players, make portals etc. Every single command that can be run can be run in clever ways from NPCS and even from the players randomly going to a certain area.

The possibilities are limited only by what you can think of doing. I started out looking for a quest plugin and after using this, I wished I had used it before just for the sake of the immersion it adds.

Like all good plugins it has a bit of a learning curve, but if you go through the documentation and experiment a bit, you will quickly realise that this is a wonderfully versatile plugin. Slightly complex yes, but well worth the effort.

The developer responds quickly and very helpfully. I donated 5$ earlier as token of appreciation for his dedication to the plugin. If you are making an RPG server, definitely consider this plugin for your needs.

Highly customization conversation system. A lot more than just quests. It makes the game very organic, definitely boosted the role-playing experience. It's very unique from other questing plugin, so you might want to read the wiki thoroughly.
