The developer can only be contacted through email, and still he doesn't reply for weeks, so support slow asf, in the discord the helpers at least reply, even if they can never be useful, not their fault though.
Overwall, the plugin may be good for a simple sg event, but not if you trying to run it on bungee mode, with different servers. It just has too many bugs, features missing, broken stuff (arena regeneration doesn't work on 1.8 spigot), some messages are hardcoded, the scoreboard in waiting lobby is awful and can't be customized at all.
Another huge issue is that 1.8 doesn't update motd of the server correctly, so trying to retrieve the server status is impossible, and you need to use pluginmessaging on velocity or sockets, to update the status of that server.
At least you have a "decent" api, where you can work these stuff around on your own, because the dev will just never reply and give a fuck about his customers.
If you're looking to run the plugin on 1.8 servers like OG sgs, forget about it, unless you can code/hire a developer to make those things for you.

plugin itself is good, it's just that it feels like a free plugin as you dont get any support, and it's very hard to get in touch with the dev, as you either mail him, or post on the thread, but still takes a lot of time to even reply (if he does at all). Plugin has couple bugs, and doesn't provide a stable system for having stats at the lobby if using the plugin is bungee mode, because (staff's word) it's an "advanced feature and sg wasn't made for this intent" which makes no sense, but it is what it is.

This plugin has no distinction between teammates and enemies, including equipment colors and player names. Always attacking teammates while playing, unable to distinguish at all

10/10 plugin. It has extreme customizing capabilities which makes it more appealing to a larger player base. The documentation isn't the best as most of the YouTube tutorials are outdated. However, you are able to get extremely fast support on the Discord server. The support was the main reason why I gave this 5 stars. Despite being old, the plugin is still well-updated and maintained.

Wazup is a wonderful developer to work with. I use this plugin on my relatively newish Minecraft Hunger Games server, and it works almost like a charm. This is a great plugin, works well! Only suggestion I have is to add a placeholder for the kills in that game instead of total kills.

The plugin seemed to be of good quality at first. However, after some time, both the plugin and the author unfortunately proved the opposite.

About the plugin:
The plugin basically works as long as you don't configure too much. If you set values like exp per kill or coins per kill to 0, there are already errors.
Resetting the world did not work in plugin version 9.9 and was then fixed in 10.0. In 10.0, however, the feature that cleared the item frames was also removed. As a result, resetting the world (WorldEdit pastes the schematic) caused all item frames including items to be dropped. In addition, players can normally also remove and place item frames. Of course, the placed items remain after the arena reset.
I use the bungee features of the plugin. At the beginning, the plugin always displays an incorrect player count. One more player is always displayed.

About the author:
I sent the author, via Spigot PM, my bug report about the problem with the Item Frames and the player count. I also asked him some questions about the configuration.
The questions regarding the configuration were clarified after one day.
Regarding the bugs, I only received an answer after further bumping (which the author, according to the auto-responder, approves of) that he would look into this.
3 more messages from my side and 20 days that have passed without an answer or fix.
And this, although the author was active in the Spigot forums every day.

I think that's a shame.

Clean & fast Just like the previous update, no major bugs during operation. Working off of UUID is a nice touch! I much prefer removing the item from the Hotbar to disable certain options. Still waiting on the revival system, very excited.

The dev is fixing the plugins as fast as he can, he is also human and he had studdies which he had a lot of work for so this was keeping him away from doing faster updates... Don't blame him for trying to accomplish something in his life.

Only plugin I've ever seen add metrics with no way to disable metrics. Mind blown.

This is by far a 10/10 plugin, one suggestion I have that would help me out a ton is a placeholder to check if an arena is available or not, like %arena_status__$arena$% that outputs either &4Disabled, &cOngoing, and &aAvaiable (Outputs configurable) and also a placeholder that returns true or false checking if the arena is open with no matches goin on, I dont know where to leave suggestions so I will just leave it here. Overall this plugin is very good tho, highly recommended

I purchased your survival games plugin a little while ago and am finally using it for my bungeecord network. I seem to be having a problem however, on one of the maps players can't open the mid chest but can open all other chest. Also after a game ends the server stops, checking the console shows the error that the server couldn't find the string start.sh then the server stops making me have to manually restart it every time someone plays a game. Could someone help me?

Next update Request Other Placeholders. such as show the current number of player playing in this arena and show the max amount of players that can join this arena

this plugin is awesome but theirs bugs with the plugin and multi world if the developer fixes these bugs it would be 10 out of 10 when i install it in my server theirs bugs where when you win a game you still keep your stuff and health and hunger from the other games and sometimes when you kill someone there loot doesn't drop and when you leave and rejoin the stuff will double and you cant use the item commands if you fix a hand full of these bug it will be a dream come true :)

Ive got the plugin working on 1.15.2 with multiworld support but i wanted to get it working with bungee in the first place. There's not a lot of info on how to use this plugin with bungee (1map = 1server) so i would like some more documentation on that. Otherwise good, solid plugin.

The Plugin has enough and awesome features but, there are some bugs. im using at 7.0 on 1.8 server. when i reload the plugin (/sg reload) anything dont loading. i think open a github page for issues.

Amazing plugin. For anyone with a little understanding of English, the configuration files are not impossible.

The developer is not the most active person, but the plugins are extremely well made in terms of performance. TPS does not drop, even with 150 players.

The only thing this plugin lacks, in my opinion, is a bit more customization. Some messages aren't able to be translated, but this is specified in the overview so there's no point to base my review on that.

DO NOT pay attention to those saying it's not worth it. Cheers, well done.

Plugin is giving me errors and is not working on new settings with new Minecraft versions like 1.13.2 and higher. Item names are messed, and so many bugs with so many features and settings. Also zero support from developer, contacted so many times and no discord no support nothing. Don’t waste your money this is expensive very much seriously can’t believe I bought this :( developer is never online and impossible to get help just look at that plugin thread and no support anywhere I try to contact. So terrible :(

Just spent a few hours trying to configure this, but it seems the plugins setup process is a total mess. The configuration, as others have stated is a total mess with absolutely no comments as to what each option does. Further more, no description of configuration settings is available via the overview or anywhere for that matter. As well, sections in the config such as “breakable blocks” do not take 1.13+ item names, instead they fall back on the limited item number system from the past which prevents using new items in your setup. Overall very bad experience, outdated plugin, and an absolute mess of a configuration. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

works pretty well, but I had some trouble with understanding parts of the config. I end up figuring it out without too much trouble, but I feel like it would be better if there were some comments in the config files. I had to make some assumptions where I had to test the values to make sure it's correct. Like the 'coins' values. I assumed it was just regular economy values and could have decimal numbers. But I didn't know for sure. Would appreciate a comment there explaining it. and there was also 'Block-Behind-Signs' which baffled me entirely. I'm not incredibly familiar with SG specific mechanics, so I didn't know what that meant. There things like exp per kill, and advanced rollback. I'm not familiar with every single feature in the plugin and would appreciate comments immensely

Also in the shop/sponsor yml it doesn't tell you where to find the item IDs. I know where they are, but like you did with the enchantments link you could probably do the same with material.

but overall pretty good. would give it 5 stars if the config had comments for a decent portion of the config. Considering not everything is immediately obvious and some config values just don't make sense without either digging deep into the plugin or testing. Comments are important.

Amazing plugin, however I have an issue with it that is either a corrupt file or something, because whenever someone spectates the players can see you watching them which is really bad. I am not sure if there is an option to turn spectators invisible in the config, but if there is someone please let me know. Other then that good plugin!

Id like to give players a one way ability to convert SurvivalGames coins earned into to currency for the main world. (but not buy coins with currency).

Plugin works great except that Bungee Mode scoreboards do not disable with the scoreboards option in the config. Other than that, we were able to use this on Thermos 1.7.10 and purchase source.

The only flaw I seem to have is that when I make an Arena and then turn the server off, when the server is turned back on the arena I made is still in the Arena folder but the system cannot track it oddly. Hello there, this is a really cool plugin! I really do recommend it for everyone that own a Minecraft server and want to have a cool SG server.
I would suggest adding these features in the future:
1) /list command to show current online players and spectators.
2) Voting system for non-bungeecord.
3) Make Kill Points random, based on points of an opponent.
4) Add death loss points.

Great plugin. Very good developer. I occasionally find a bug and without me writing he's posted a fix! Would recommended to any small or big server.

Works perfekt for me only thing i'm missing is that it removes items after the fight is over

That's the only communication from the plugins author since I bought it, and that's a status not a direct response to my communication. Not once has he replied to any of my messages asking to address bugs in the plugin. Feel like I have wasted my time and money on this. Even a message back explaining why I have no support on something that is broken in places.

The plugin has potential but I can't understand why the author cant spend some time on fixing it being the all time top selling plugin on Spigot. I can understand flaky responses from plugins with little or no sales but this is ridiculous.

I have given a lot of time before writing this review and politely asked in a PM, on his profile page and even in the discussion.

I want to make sure everybody understands how good the plugins from Wazup92 are...I am working with all of his plugins and i am 100% satisfied with it. Hopefully more to come ! Keep up the good work !

Hi I have found a bug and that's when I join my server and create an SG world and add a map it all works then when I join it via the sign it loads all things work but when the countdown ends nothing happens it just does nothing it goes to 1 then nothing no one can move and then random people will die and it will pick a winner. PLEASE reply ASAP thx

My nine year old son and I setup our first minecraft server and of course he wanted it setup to play hunger games. I was hesitant to purchase a plugin, but after watching some videos on SurvivalGames, it just looked easy. Also it was one of the few that was compatible with 1.10 version. It took us maybe 30 minutes to get a fully working SurvivalGames server running. We are now just having fun with all features that you can customize. Lots to learn here, but very intuitive and pretty well documented. On another note, if you read all the discussions, you will notice that the developer Wazup92 is really active and at least tries to resolve any issue that comes his way. Thanks for the great plugin, well worth 10 bucks.

Been eyeing this plugin for years! In fact since it came out!
Now that I have it, I love it! I have used it before with friends servers before.

All round a really nice SG plugin and a sure addition to my network.

One of my first boughts on Spigotmc and i still love your plugin.
The player heads on the top list was one of your best ideas and its still great for the players!

Author know about that but not fix yet..
I wrote the entire problem but the lack of response from the author.

Plugin works great. The update fixed a lot of issues some players were having. Also, if you're having a problem with players not being able to access certain chests or signs, check your spawn protection as I find that's the most common problem! Great buy! Best SG plugin on the market!

Great update but I found a bug. Fire can be taken out by spectators (I was making a video and I hit the Fire and it Randomly disappeared)

I am new to making servers and have looked all over the internet but I just can't find a way to make the sg.join in the permissions to work. Ich habe mir das Plugin gekauft. Ich finde es sehr gut, jedoch habe ich 2 Bugs gefunden, welche behoben werden sollten. 1. Die Lobby Welt wird nicht mehr Protected. 2. Wenn ich den Server starte und die Lobby Welt als eigene Welt habe, so wird diese nicht geladen und ich kann den Server nicht betreten.

Ich hoffe die Bugs werden bald gefixt.

Very good plugin and easy to setup. It's had lots of updates in the past and will hopefully stay supported by the developer for a long time to come!

Very well plugin, comes with many features and is one of the most advanced that I have seen. Anyways great job and definitely suggest for anyone that is looking for a good SG Plugin.

For those complaining about features and bugs in reviews, remember that all plugins have some tweaks but there is no worry about that for this due to the author being pretty active and up on updating. :)

1. Players can fly in ANY world across the server after playing one of these games
2. Players that have played a match will go into the next match with the same health they had in the last match.
3. Dev Never responds to anything or fixes any issues.
Summary: Avoid this plugin, it is literally the PLAGUE of servers.

when you change the items in the shop.yml it doesnt update i changed it done /sg reload and restarted my server it just resets .......

So I have been using this plugin for a year now. Overall it has been one of the best HG plugins out there. Recently though, more problems have been created than fixed.

All of the bugs I have found have been reported to the thread, most of them are in a post that I posted about three months ago. So far the dev has fixed 1 of them, and added a feature that allows us to make a custom solution for another. I also noticed that there are a lot of bugs that other people are reporting as well. I took advantage of the custom solution and coded my own rollback plugin just for my HG server. It works so much better than advanced rollback. Feel free to check that out on my server; I am willing to make it public (free) for anyone that is having issues with advanced rollback. Just PM me.

I think the dev should work on documentation a bit, preferably a nice wiki with a page for every feature and how to configure it, along with examples. What I would recommend is https://bitbucket.org/. It allows private projects, with a public wiki and a public issue tracker for that private project. It will help a lot.

Great plugin, would like to see a setting for disabling the grace period though. Also a setting for choosing how often the "Time until the game ends" message pops up, it can get pretty annoying when sending every minute, especially the sound. Otherwise, great job :)

Needs a bit more documentation to operate it (ie use for SkyWars) but aside from that very happy. .

The arena keeps turning randomly into either a normal generated world or flat land. Leaderboards works again though
