I encountered quite a few bugs in the new version 2.0.0, specifically detailed at [
https://anotepad.com/notes/gsrrd922]. I'm currently using version 1.20.6 on version 1.4.1. Although it has an issue when I leave the area, I managed to fix it using Skript. I think I'll wait for a newer and more complete version.
I'll work on that possibility soon, I promise. I'm currently finishing up improving and optimizing the plugin, and I'll soon release version 2.0.0 with amazing new features.

- One of the most important changes is the non-dependency on WorldEdit and WorldGuard, meaning that the plugin will work without dependencies on these plugins.
- On the other hand, and no less important, I've worked on the plugin's resource management, making it possible for the list of regions to be reduced internally and thus be found by Chunks in which the player is located instead of iterating through the entire list of regions each time. This way, we'll have better performance for very large lists of regions.
- Also, in 2.0.0, I've also added the possibility of having regions within regions and having their respective sounds played without any problem. I've tried having a region within a region within a region, and it works perfectly.

There are some errors during the process of moving out of an area, but it still plays the sound of the previous area. For example: when I am at spawn and use the warp trade command, it still plays the spawn sound instead of switching to the trade sound. I have to leave the spawn area and then enter the trade area for the sound to change. I hope this issue can be fixed soon.

My goodness, this plugin is amazing. The raw ambiance that it brings to is honestly incredible and its exactly what I'm looking for!
My one critic is that you cant play specific minecraft ost (for example you cant play "So Below" you can only play minecraft:music.nether.soul_sand_valley but I understand thats most likely just a minecraft thing)
Thank you very much and sorry for my late answer. Actually I think you can add your custom music (Overview > Installation section:
★ TIPS: You can create your own resource pack with .ogg sounds/music for client side and overwriting the sounds.json. Datapack could force the mandatory installation in the client... Once client side has the resource pack, AreaSoundEvents is able to handle playing the customized sound/music. (I will provide a "how to do" video soon)

Hey can you add a permission to make people not hear custom sounds if they have/ dont have the permission. So I can allow players who dont want custom sounds to disable it. Plugin is awesome btw
