Version: 3.1
Im a bit confused ive read your reviews and you say its compatible with 1.19.x However on 1.19.2 my console is saying it isnt compatible. And just now trying it on 1.19.1 It is still saying its not compatible.

Are you sure you downloaded the correct plugin version?
You need to choose the one for the version the server is running on

Version: 3.1
Very happy to see how more and more people are standing united with this plugin.
I still think that, for the time being, you should stick with V1nc3ntWasTaken's Github Fork (currently v4.3). The version that was just updated here, 3.1, does not silence the horrendous annoying widgets that pop up when logging onto a server with this plugin.

Version: 2.0
<3 Sidias

Never knew that a small fork would get so much attention, I try my best to keep up to date with whatever Minecraft wants to throw at me, and just make the ease of use, as easy, and straightforward as possible. I have no clue where the original developer went, or if they even still exist, but I'll take the time to create a modified version that has some more support, and some additional small features.

Version: 2.0
Read Sidias post, that guy deserve a medal for saving all of the MC Communities,

Version: 2.0
It makes me so happy to see that people are well in touch to know how awful moderation from unaffiliated people, especially horrendous vile corporations like Microsoft, is and how harmful they are to communities and player security. This plugin is wonderful, you're a hero.

Trying the latest version on 1.19.1, sorry to say, anytime I type anything in chat, I get kicked for:

Internal Exception: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'java.util.Optional net.minecraft.network.protocol.game.ClientboundPlayerChatPacket.d()'

I'm sure this is only because this plugin has not been updated since before 1.19.1, I'm confident this will get fixed.

Also, people may have noticed, but Client nags at you when trying to join the server by throwing a toast widget into your face about signatures. Typical warning garbage, people are making client mods to fix. But is there a way you could make Client think that these signatures are not modified, to remove the warning?

Version: 2.0
Keep your Minecraft server yours. Reject Microsoft's overreach. FYI there are client-side mods (eg for Fabric) that can remove signatures from your own messages when you're playing on other servers that don't have this plugin.

Version: 2.0
Exactly what's needed. I don't agree at all with the newest chat reporting system. After all, servers really often have their own moderators too. Instantly added this plugin as soon as I heard about the newest change, even though my server has a community that wouldn't break the new chat rules. And as for some reviews, this doesn't break the chat (unless they mean how the player signatures get removed). I do not trust Microsoft at all with choosing what's suitable for chat and what's not.

Version: 2.0
I love this plugin.

For the people complaining that chat reporting is important to dissuade "rule breakers" - we already have server moderators for that.

Server hosts are free to do whatever they want, we pay the hosting fees. Keep your comments to objective problems with the plugin.

Version: 2.0
As some people already said, this will break your chat, and you are not allowed to use plugins like this, as reporting messages in chat is useful and important to keep rule breakers away.

Version: 2.0
This man right here is doing gods work. Amazing plugin, going on every setup I run.

Version: 2.0
I'd love to see this plugin on all servers as the chat reporting "feature" is a giant problem. Anyways, awesome plugin!

Version: 2.0
Great plugin, though will a work around be implemented to get around the "This Message may have been modified by the server" message that is added by the client? Thanks!

Version: 2.0
Excellent, simple code, you wil be on top of downloading a plugins by this. Server owners like me need it! Because Mojang is so stupid. Useless update like this, where is MULTI-THREADING( Mojang...)???

Version: 2.0
I love how people are combatting Microsoft in this moderation issue. Thank you, everybody who is helping out

Version: 2.0
I had an idea I wanted to pass on. If a plugin like this were packaged into many already popular plugins like viaversion and essentials it could quickly become the norm and insure most spigot servers run NoEncryption.

Version: 2.0
Awesome plugin, is bungee support possible so I don't have add it to each individual server?

Version: 2.0
Excellent plugin. +++++ for being open source. Fighting back against woke insanity. 5 stars.

Version: 2.0
Thank you so much for making this plugin. I run an LGBTQ+ server, and the prospect of trolls coming online to purposefully misinterpret jokes or conversations and file false reports is terrifying. We already have our own moderation system that has worked for years; for server's like mine, the new chat changes only open up more potential for abuse.

Version: 2.0
Isn't needed at all. Do not use. Spigot doesn't even support signed chat, so once 1.19.1 releases all messages will be unsigned and un-reportable anyways on Spigot servers. This plugin will do nothing and likely break your chat. Want more information on this? https://youtu.be/68TPg0dXPw0

Author's response
First off, it's not because Spigot doesn't support it that I can't use it. If you want, you can check the source code to see that it actually does something.
Spigot is a layer on top of CraftBukkit which is a layer on top of Bukkit which is itself a layer on top of Minecraft.
CraftBukkit allows developers to access the Minecraft code from Bukkit/Spigot classes, meaning that I can just intercept the data sent by the client and the server, to modify it.

Second, you have no proof for your claim that it breaks the chat (It might be related to the fact that my plugin works and doesn't break chat)

Third, it's not because a Paper dev says it that it's fact. It is easy for any Minecraft programmer to fake a report (Gaslight hasn't actually been patched yet), and we have no proof that their "highly trained moderators" will actually take time to understand the context.

Fourth, remember how servers moderated themselves for an entire decade, and it worked flawlessly? Well M$ is just taking control away from servers, to try and make their game actively worse. Big companies don't care about you. When they said they said it was to improve player safety, it's just to collect more data on you and make you buy the game again.

Version: 2.0
Simple; works exactly as intended without getting in the way. Can’t recommend this enough.

Version: 2.0
Excellent, low-profile plugin that removes unwanted global moderation features. No server I maintain or moderate will be operating without this moving forward.

Version: 2.0
This plugin is a must-have for any server administrators who want to remain in control. We all know that this stupid banning system is going to be abused.

Version: 2.0
I love how people are combatting Microsoft in this moderation issue. Thank you, everybody who is helping out

Version: 1.1
Thank you so much for making this amazing software, now everyone on my server will be safe from microsoft.

Version: 1.1
Just what I need to protect my players. Hopefully this chat reporting will be removed but until this happens, plugins like this will be essential

Version: 1.1
Thank you so much! I thought about doing this myself but you did the job :D Microsoft really lost their minds, we can only hope for better times.

Version: 1.0
Definitely adding this to my servers. Chat reporting was a bad idea and will probably lead to a ton of false bans.

Version: 1.0
I'm on a private server but this is still a must, and I downloaded it also to leave 5 stars
Every server of 1.19+ should use this, it's a no-brainer

Version: 1.0
This is a plugin that every server running on 1.19+ should have. If this is installed on every server, Mojang can remove the report system altogether because it won't work anymore. Mojang/Microsoft can't really prevent this plugin from working without litterally upsetting all server owners because they cannot send custom alert messages.

Version: 1.0
This plugin is must have at these hard times of Minecraft: Java Edition.

I want to do on the server whatever I want and do my work in absolutely private enviroment, not Microsoft, who can do awful stuff, like adding "Chat Reporting".

Thank you!

Version: 1.0
Thank you so much for this plugin!

While it's an absolute shame a long standing community like ours has to put up with M$'s reign of terror that doesn't mean your work here is any less appreciated!

My server has been running since 2013 without any 'help' from Microshaft, I'd kindly request them to leave me & my private life the hell alone; having to deal with them professionally is already enough.

Everyone who supports free speech of any kind on their Minecraft server, run this plugin.

<3~s Sfekke

Version: 1.0
Thank you so much for allowing free speech!
This is the worst from Mojang, I was this close to refunding the game and never playing it.

Thank you again so much! This is amazing! I never knew how the thought that client-side encryption isn't going to get disabled and just simply break their chat.

Version: 1.0
Very good job, much love <3 very good for anyone who hates Microsoft. Also open source sheeesh
