We're launching an extremely early test of our new Abilities System for AdvancedMobs. This is heavily inspired by our AdvancedEnchantments effects system (soon to be superseded by Abilities System which is being now tested for this plugin). Again, this is a super early test and not everything has been tested - expect issues and problems.

Wyvern's boss file now includes effects category to test these out!

Abilities are a unique implementation of completely customizable abilities. They can be a powerful tool for adding dynamic gameplay mechanics. By combining effects, triggers, targets, conditions and effects, you can create a wide variety of actions and reactions in your plugin.

  • Working on a new whole new bosses system. Coming very soon, will be able to use 100+ effects on mobs, with unique targets system, triggers, area effects and more.
  • Added new boss build patterns mechanic - allow players to build custom mobs like Withers, Iron golems, etc. from vanilla using block patterns. Read more here: https://mobs.advancedplugins.net/advancedmobs/mechanics/build-mobs-with-blocks
  • Added `plugins/AdvancedMobs/bosses/Wyvern.yml` file - configure patterns here, all boss features will be located there as well
  • Fixed upgrades not disabling right-click menu when disabled in file
  • Added `mobStacking.mobBlacklistAsWhitelist` setting in config.yml
  • Fixed random amount of drops not working - always dropping 1
