I generally refrain from inappropriately reviewing products or services in a negative light; however, I created a ticket in July of 2024 that received absolutely no response despite being pinged and notified. Although I swiftly resolved said issue by disabling KixsChatGames's AFK tracker, I still believe said issue should have been responded to and addressed.

Generally, I'm more adimant to being respectful to open source plugins, given I have the option to assist and resolve said issues; however, this isn't the case. That said (in the same ticket no less), instantiated an additional mention regarding integrating Folia support (which likely isn't remarkably challenging for this resource); with once again no response. As a result, I'm forced to remake the plugin from scratch just to migrate over to a platform that functionally (by design) is similar to Paper and generally just needs scheduler modifications.

If you are running a server with KixsChatGames, run KixsChatGames on Paper/alternative fork, enable sync-response-processor, and disable exclude-afk-players, KixsChatGames will perform and act optimally. Otherwise, support is improbable and so is your ability to request new features with a provided response concerning viability.

Plugin is amazing! Comes with such a HUGE library of already created games that are super easy to edit and add in your own to. Was by far one of the easiest plugins ive found to configure! I cannot recommend plugins by this dev enough!

This plugin is awesome! Ignore all reviews that are negative! :) When setting up this plugin I recommend changing the Required Players to 0 if you are playing with a smaller group of people. You can also change the time interval for games to which is cool! :D

I just want to say this plugin is outstanding, from switching to ChatReaction to this was worth every penny. It was annoying to configure at first however players love it and it's worth its price.

very slow support, the plugin has a major bug where if you don't restart your server for over 3-5 days. the answers take around 20 seconds to get registered by the plugin. and if it goes up to 6 days the plugin runs out of the configured time before registering the chat answer. The plugin also causes lag and I reported this one month ago.

Since i added the plugin to my server and now it has been performing excellent!

I had the problem that the chat in my server became inactive so i searched for a solution. This is the solution! I started using kix's chat games and i've been using it for about a week now. My servers chat has become a lot and I mean a lot more active than before.

The plugin is easy to setup and you can just add as many trivia questions as you want.

I would love to see more chatgames than the plugin already has!

Just wanted to say that after setting up the chat game plugin just now it seems incredibly well made and it was a joy to configure.
I also really like the way the colors and formatting is from default so I barely had to change anything in regards to that it looks pretty amazing straight out of the box!

One of the best plugins a server owner can add to its server to spice it up. Would definetely recommend it. Also, plugin's ready after loading it up, no need for excessive configuration everything's premade. Easy to setup and edit, excellent plugin and documentation overall. Developer is fairly friendly and eager to help.

The developer legit spent multiple hours if not days helping me get sorted with the plugin. Had some conflicting plugins that made Chat Games a bit wonky but the developer pumped out multiple versions to help get it resolved. Without a doubt the best.

Additionally, the plugin has multiple game modes as well as a leaderboard so it is the full package.

Easy to setup and configure, works flawlessly and the developer is active and extremely helpful.

This plugin is spectacular, I tried all the types of chat game that the plugin implements and they are all entertaining.

I would recommend adding placeholders to be able to create tops and missions with other plugins to make users more willing to participate.

Absolute godsend plugin. I was using Simple Chatgames until I needed something for 1.17 and this is so much better! I am absolutely in love with the ability to have a pool of random prizes, the trivia is easy to set up and generally the plugin is very lovely.
I had an issue and joined the discord. Almost instant response and Kix reacted with a plugin update.
Chat games are a central thing of the fun and the chat on my server, so I seriously could not stop talking about how happy I am with this plugin. 100% worth it, would buy twice if I could

This plugin is amazing!

If you've read the plugin page, you probably already know some of its features, that it's incredibly lightweight, high-quality, and so on. I'm not going to repeat those features since you can just reread the plugin page if you need those. Instead, I'll add to that and tell you about my experience with this plugin.

If you look at my other reviews, I usually have suggestions for the author, even if the review is 5 stars. That's not the case for this, since there's literally nothing I could think of to make it even better as it's already super good.

This plugin will boost player retention & engagement with the community, and reward them for being active in the chat. It'll integrate them into the community, which is very important for almost any server.

You can set the chat games to happen pretty frequently and some will think they're so much fun, they'll spend lots more hours on the server playing chat games.

Finally, there's a wide variety of trivia questions, vocabulary words, and also chat game types that come with this plugin, meaning players will never get sick of chat games, and even if they do you can sell toggling chat games as a rank perk!

TL:DR: If you want to grow your server or give back to your community, BUY THIS PLUGIN!

This was the only chat game plugin I found that supports doing trivia, Kix always makes very high-quality plugins so I knew that this would be a great addition to my server.
