zEssentials is by far one of the best essentials plugins I’ve tried. It’s lightweight, modern, and has all the features I need, from warps and homes to chat control and multiple economies. The Folia support is a huge plus, and the documentation is clear and easy to follow. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a powerful alternative to EssentialsX or CMI!

The best Essentials plugin we have in the community — super complete, optimized, and with active support. I really appreciate the quality of zEssentials. Maxlego is also very dedicated; choosing it was the best decision I made.

An honest and straightforward review, without breaking any rules or being overly dramatic. zEssentials is full of bugs — a lot of them. Knowing the quality of Max’s other plugins, I still decided to use it on my production server (especially since it’s not a beta plugin) and report all the bugs I found. The kit system, punishment system, chat system, and Discord webhook system — all of them have critical bugs to the point of being non-functional. I even brought in other developers, like nickuc, to help create hooks with zEssentials so that their /mute would work properly.

Why am I rating it 1 star? Because even though some bugs have been fixed, many still remain. Support is slow given the importance of the issues. “But developers need time to fix things.” Yes, of course! But this is an essentials plugin — it’s important. Imagine the kit system not working for over a week? Or not being able to mute players for a whole month? I went through that, and so did my friends.

I often joke around in the zEssentials support chat. Today, I was muted for 24 hours after making fun of Maxlego — and it’s fine, he had every right to mute me. So since we're talking about doing the right thing and following the rules, I’m giving the plugin a 1-star review, because that’s what it deserves. I’m being fair and using the proper channel for this — I don’t want to break any rules (you want to do things the right way? Then let’s do it the right way).

And of course, if zEssentials fixes all the bugs I’ve reported (I’m not talking about suggestions, I mean actually delivering the promised features that are listed here on Spigot), I will gladly remove my 1-star review and leave a 5-star one. What bugs? They’re all reported on GitHub and in the zEssentials channel.

I also want to say that I regret recommending zEssentials to my friends, as now they complain alongside me about the same broken features.

zEssentials is great—complete, superior to any competitor, and has amazing support. The dev maintains plugins for years; it's the best bet any server owner should make.

Un très bon plugin, un développeur très sympa et un support de qualité, rien à dire !

It is good but there exists a few ERRORs on Folia 1.21.4 just only a few I discovered, player death event red server error, also hologram create is broken fatal error. My recommendation is Folia is supported heavily as there is no essential plugin that works on Folia so this is critical for Folia servers. Other than this love to see more GUI's also afk module or earn money while AFK'ing option. Vanish feature. and join Motd message in chat option when a player logs back in for Welcome back or news updates. Kti on first join which was just added needs documentation how to do it. Also a bossbar or chat message announcer, every X minute rotate messages to announce to the server.

I love this plugin but a lot of things could use a GUI like Homes instead of listing in the chat it should have a GUI, etc, same with kits. Additionally there is a ton of bugs with Folia 1.21.4 which throw red server errors, death event and hologram create is broken not sure what more. The vote module is cool, warps list also needs a GUI etc. Reported the bugs in discord but it wasn't answered. other than this its a great plugin and the ability to disable modules nad commands is good for the plugins which overlap like tpa. I love the plugin however. its lightweight and better than the other ones also the only one which works on Folia. But better Folia support would be nice as its the future and many servers use/switching to it to handle more players.

Best core plugin out there. Everything is customizable and easily configurable. Besides that, everything is modular, which means you can disable and enable any feature you please. Everything works really well and flawlessly, nothing competes to this. You won't look back after using this core plugin. I highly recommend this plugin.

Sadly, I'm not having the best experience with his plugin lately. I keep running into bugs. People report them, and even after 36 days it is still not fixed! This also wasn't a small bug, its a pretty big bug. At the time I'm writing this, it is still not fixed. I find this unacceptable for a plugin that costs me $20 or so.

The features are amazing. But, I've been having a horrible experience trying to set the plugin up. When setting up MYSQL or HIKARICP, it never works, always errors. I already tried 5 times setting up the plugin.
Right now I'm still trying to set it up. The plugin is clearly not yet usable for production sadly.

The plugin itself is amazing. Everything is customizable and easy to configure. The features are also really good. I would give it 5 stars but the support tends to be slow sadly. Overall great plugin, but support should be better.

Top notch plugin, love the modules and the centralized messages.yml file. Easy to configure, there may be some grammar errors but putting that aside, this is a QUALITY plugin, worth the 20€. Keep it on Max!

Just bought this plugin! Its an absolute W. It has everything i need the holograms kits and everything else. not to mention it doesnt even take much ram usage. very well optimized.
