The plugin does work, but as the picture says that the new cherry wood should go in, it doesn't. If I put it in, nothing happens.

OK, but in case you haven't noticed the name of the substrate is Stonecutter not Woodcutter. So it is made for cutting stone, not wood.

Hi, I appreciate your feedback. You are right, it says stonecutter and it's made for cutting stones. However, the plugin just allows wood to be cut in this block. Changing the interface text requires a custom resource pack and I am planning to update this plugin for that. For now, this plugin is in its usable state. :)
