Plugin Overview:

UltraColor provides chat and name colors for players to use by selection in a GUI menu or commands. You can also select to format your chat messages or your username in a GUI menu or commands and select hex and gradient colors if you’re using a 1.16 version or newer. This plugin can be used as a perk for your donators or as a cosmetic for your webstore for example!

Features:

Hex and gradient color support for 1.16+ versions (/hexcolor & /gradientcolor).
16 Chat and name color selections through a GUI menu via /color (or /c). We also provide support for selecting colors via /ucolor setchatcolor and /ucolor setnamecolor commands for those using apps such as MineChat!
5 Color formats for both name and chat colors.
Reset a player’s color via the GUI menu and command regardless if they are online or not.
Customization of Menu items, names, and lores.
Supports 4 languages (including English) with the ability to create your own.
Ability to disable chat, name, hex, and gradient colors, as well as the back button.

Including /color, /hexcolor, & /gradientcolor, we also provide admin commands, below:

/ucolor reload - Reloads the plugin and reflects changes from settings.yml and messages_x.yml files.
/ucolor resetcolor <player> - Reset’s a player’s name and/or chat colors as well as formats.
/ucolor setchatcolor <color> [format] - Set your chat color and/or format (useful for those who can't access GUI menus).
/ucolor setnamecolor <color> [format] - Set your name color and/or format (useful for those who can't access GUI menus).
/ucolor setgradient <chat|name> <color> - Set your gradient color (useful for those who can't access GUI menus).

You can modify the /ucolor aliases in the settings.yml file.

Permissions:

Here are all the permissions offered:

ultracolor.admin.reload - Permission for /ucolor reload command.
ultracolor.gui - Access to the Color Selection GUI menu.
ultracolor.commands.hexcolor - Access to /hexcolor command.
ultracolor.commands.resetcolor - Access to /ucolor resetcolor command.
ultracolor.command.setgradient - Access to /ucolor setgradient command.
ultracolor.command.namecolor - Access to /ucolor namecolor command.
ultracolor.command.chatcolor - Access to /ucolor chatcolor command.
ultracolor.chat.(color) - Give access to a specific chat color (example: ultracolor.chat.2 gives access to dark green chat color). You can also use ultracolor.chat.r to give access to rainbow chat color.
ultracolor.name.(color) - Give access to a specific name color. You can also use ultracolor.name.r to give access to rainbow name color.
ultracolor.nameformat.(format) - Gives access to a specific name format (example: ultracolor.nameformat.n gives underline name format).
ultracolor.chatformat.(format) - Gives access to a specific chat format.
ultracolor.gradient.(color) - Gives access to gradient name colors (available colors: red, blue, green, purple, orange-yellow, pink-purple, and custom). You can also give ultracolor.gradient.* for all gradients!
ultracolor.chatgradient.(color) - Gives access to gradient chat colors (available colors: same options as above). You can also give ultracolor.chatgradient.* for all gradients!
ultracolor.commands.nickname - Permission for /nickname command.
ultracolor.commands.realname - Permission for /realname command.
ultracolor.nickname.others - Permission to set someone else's nickname via the /nickname command.

Config Files:

The main configuration can be edited in the settings.yml file and messages can be modified in a messages.yml file in the localization folder. For more information, such as the default config, visit the GitHub page at the top, and look for Configuration in the Wiki.

%ucolor_colored_nickname% - Displays the player's nickname with their selected name color (This placeholder is for chat formatting for those who need it).
