Intuitive plugin but it doesn't install on my 1.18.2 server. I have to use a much older version

Undoubtedly the most powerful and feature rich economy plugin that's come across the market thus far, the only reason I've not given it a perfect rating is that there are quite a few features that have been in the planning pipeline for some time now that don't seem that they will be fulfilled such as government accounts, etc.

Despite that, it's always been the economy plugin that I recommend to anyone when it becomes a topic during conversation.

Amazing plugin but why are so many features going to be added later? I've had to make my own currency exchange because I have multiple currencies and it doesn't even work well. But besides that it's an amazing plugin just a few features haven't been finished yet :D.

There continues to be no updates made available to fix major bugs with the plugin. Complete waste of money and I recommend anyone considering this to completely avoid this plugin as it is not even worth using for free. These bugs are unacceptable as they make this plugin completely unusable and open up several ways for malicious players to crash or lag servers.

For example.

Typing "/balance " will cause the server TPS to drop to less than 10TPS.
Opening a list of players in the pay menu will cause server ticks per second to drop to 1TPS until this menu is closed.

All commands and menus that deal with other players will show ALL players who have EVER logged into your server.

Imagine you build your entire server around economy. You buy this plugin and use it. You release the server and whenever someone makes a transaction, the entire server just drops TPS and lags.

When executing commands through console, server lags.
When checking players balances, server lags.
When paying other people, server lags.
When letting other plugins execute commands, server lags.

And I'm not talking about small lags. My TPS goes from 20 to 10 from time to time.

Bear in mind I have a 128GB DDR5 Server with 24 threads.

DO NOT buy this plugin at all cost if you're planning to run a big server. Maybe you could use this plugin with like 2 friends but thats it and you should even expect lag then.

I have reported tons of issues over the years to these people and they say theyre working on it but months upon months pass by with 0 fixes.

I WISH I could switch but It's too late for me as I already released my server and theres no way of saving data / moving to a different plugin.

The database is built on base64 which is ass aswell. You can hardly check logs cause of this.

The idea is nice. Multiple currencies etc.

Probably the worse performing plugin I have owned. Whenever someone pays or receives money from another player / server, tps will go down to below 10.

Currently running a server with AMD 7900 12 cores with 128GB of DDR5 so this shouldn't happen in any form or way. (Spark profiler is showing up to 80% usage)

Reported this issue but as per usual you get the classic ''we're rewriting the code'' I guess we can wait a very long time for that as this has been their main go to excuse for months.

Do not purchase this plugin. I repeat, do not purchase this plugin!

Great Plugin! So many possibilities and settings. I love how you change almost everything in it!!

Reported performance issue months ago, never got a response. Repeatedly unintentionally being triggered by players because anytime anyone pays another player it can cause tps to go to 1 by just sitting on the player menu.

Can't migrate Flat file to MySQL as the uetransfer command does not work. DenDaskeMine reported the issue on 10/21/2023 and Tech | Kimo K. said, "Hey, there is a transfer command which is listed in the wiki :)".

Every "issue" that gets brought up with any tech plugin seems to be hand waved and will be fixed in the future after they refactor the code.

It's an alright plugin, they were pretty lucky there are only a few economy plugins that support multi-currencies. There are a few bugs here and there that I couldn't be bothered to report seeing how most of the bugs reported in their discord took months before it was resolved. But I guess you can give them credit for supporting the latest MC version at least.

At this rate, we might be able to get GTA VI before Ultra Economy will natively support Velocity for cross-server syncing.

i was looking for plugins that allow me to have multiple currencies as well as having the currencies drop from killed mobs. i found both things in this very powerful plugin.
there is no config file to edit, instead everything is managed in a very intuitive ingame GUI.
when i had some some startup issues i was met with very friendly and helpful support on the discord server and my issue was solved in no time. they also listen to suggestions that you might have.

10 out of 5 stars. there is no competition for this economy plugin.

Theres an EXP dupe glitch within /trade which takes like 5 minutes to fix. I came up with multiple solutions but ''it's too complicated''. Devs are inactive / don't fix stuff. When you reach out to their support even their own helpers say that the dev team is either inactive or they can't do anything about it.

Vault money of players is reset when they disconnect from the server which makes the plugin pretty useless

Ive used this since almost its first release. Its kinda changed into a serve everything you can imagine with economy. The new Government stuff for the plugin makes it soo much better with even more options from just a economy and nothing else right up to running realistic RPG's. Has to be the best economy plug-in out there! The features it provides alone are amazing (multiple currency, bank system, mob drops etc) but it's also super easy to configure in-game with it's GUI menu where even having no experience whatsoever it will only take you a matter of minutes to figure it out!

Still one of the best plugins out there for economy related features. please note that I have experienced a lot of bugs related to this plugin and that should be taken into consideration. The devs are okay at responding but when they do support is great.

In my opinion this is the best multi-currency plugin for your server. It works amazing on 1.8+ and 1.19.2 (as i am using so far), and the support is really fast (when i had a weird bug the developers helped me really fast and fixed the problem). Worth every money!

I can't configure the plugin due to the fact this plugin has no config files and everything has to be done in game (Which is really annoying) and you have to type in chat to enter values which conflicts with my other chat plugins. I have reached out on the discord for support and have not gotten any. The plugin is unusable and therefore it was a complete waste of money. If the developer fixes this issue I will update this review.

German: Nach ein paar Anfangsschwierigkeiten, das Plugin richtig zu Synchronisieren mit der Datenbank, hat es jetzt doch endlich geklappt.
Ich bin ein Server Netzwerk Administrator und baue mir grade mein eigenes Netzwerk auf (Allein) und habe nach guten Plugins gesucht, damit es den Spielern (wenn ich mal welche haben sollte) an nichts fehlt.
Ich habe schon ein wenig Erfahrung mit anderen Economy Plugins gemacht, aber dieses hier ist mit Abstand das beste Economy Plugin was ich jemals gesehen habe.
Klar kann man sich drüber Streiten, ob es jetzt wirklich so toll ist, das man jedes mal auf den Server muss um etwas einzustellen. Aber es ist nun mal Benutzerfreundlich, und wie kann etwas einfacher sein, als wenn man nur auf ein paar Blöcke klicken muss?!. Ich kanns nur wärmstens Empfehlen.

PS: Wenn man die Einstellungen sucht um den Plugin mit den Currencys und alles einzustellen. Der Command dafür ist: /uecon

I'm a server network administrator and I'm building my own network (alone) and I've been looking for good plugins so that the players (if I ever have any) won't be missing anything.
I've had some experience with other economy plugins, but this one is by far the best economy plugin I've ever seen.
Of course you can argue about whether it's really that great that you have to go to the server every time to set something. But it's user-friendly, and how can anything be easier than just clicking a few blocks?!. I can only warmly recommend it.

PS: If you look for the settings to set the plugin with the currencies and everything. The command for this is: /uecon

overall this is a great plugin, but it's missing a few features that I would say it really needs, mainly in currency customization. For example, you can't set a custom modeldata value, and are restricted to choosing an icon from the menu of icons, you can't have multiple different icons in a currency (so no systems where you have something like silver and gold coins that have different worths, but are in the same economy). There's also no configuration file you can edit, only a gui, which isn't really bad, but mildly annoying because you have to join the server every time you want to change settings.

Despite these missing features the plugin is really great overall and I do highly recommend it (especially because it can import from essentials), but if want custom textures for your currency, or want a coin system or anything like that, I recommend trying to find another plugin, or waiting until this one has those features. I honestly hope that this plugin adds more customization features like the ones I described though, because at the moment it's probably one of the best economy plugins I've found and almost every economy plugin that lets you use custom items (like piggybank) that I found is buggy, very basic, or seemingly abandoned.

The concept of the plugin overall is pretty cool, but there are a number of downsides:

1.) All of the configuration must be done in-game. The configuration files that are generated are not in a standard Yaml format, so they cannot be edited at the filesystem level.

2.) You must be verified to get any support at all from anyone in the Discord. The verification system is a manual one where you fill out a Google form.

For #1, it makes no sense to me to keep the configuration in a proprietary format when almost every other plugin allows manual editing. This is especially important for things like setting up a database as you probably shouldn't be providing sensitive information like usernames and passwords in a chat prompt.

For #2, I understand that developers can be overwhelmed with support requests and want to prioritize paying customers. But when you purchase a plugin, it doesn't work on default install, you have to wait for support, and you have a dozen other things to set up on your server... it just becomes a roadblock and you look for other solutions.

Hopefully the development team will use the money I wasted buying this to improve the plugin and their support model.

I already hold Tech plugins to a high standard but this absolutely decimated those. This is so incredibly well made with so many features. It's also the most user friendly Tech plugin I've used (If the other ones weren't already user friendly enough). If you're thinking about buying this you should also check the wiki as they don't list all the features on the spigot page!

We love this Plugin. It was great before the bank update.

This plugin has won over my heart. I love the easy to use features, the ability to make custom currencies and to determine the percentage of drop rate & which mobs drop selected currencies. completely Vault supported so works great with any plugin that also connects to Vault.
more is being added and I'm sure that server owners will love the up coming updates as I know I will. I recommend this plugin and wouldnt use anything else.

I'm glad I found this plugin, it's very good compared to any other economy plugin. It runs alright, the interfaces are very clean, data is stored correctly, creating new currencies is easier than ever, and the log systems are amazing. If you are looking for good plugins make sure this one is on your list.

My review concerns exactly update 1.3.7. It sucks! Instead of making a configurable format something like ###,###.00, you just take and strip off the decimal part. I do not understand the logic of such a decision. It doesn't look like an improvement, it looks more like a cut in functionality.

It's really good, however at this moment in time it's not a 5-star plugin. With the release of their upcoming bank feature, I am confident this will become the best economy plugin on the market, however, at this moment in time, it's just not. Don't get me wrong, it's really good and you should buy it, but it does not have every little detail yet.

But when I enable this plugin,my server will be stopped,the exception is "Nag author: 'Tech' of 'UltraEconomy' about the following: This plugin is not properly shutting down its async tasks when it is being shut down. This task may throw errors during the final shutdown logs and might not complete before process dies."

Ever want full control over your servers economy and have it fully accessible in a gui or with commands, well this plugin is the one for.

Before purchasing this plugin I contacted the developer, Matrix to ask about cross-server compatibility for paying money to players on different servers and cross-server balances. I was told this was fully possible and part of the plugin.

After purchase, it turns out this statement was false, and the features I specifically asked about and purchased the resource for are non-existent.

I have asked for a refund and was denied my request.

I'd recommend people do not purchase this plugin.

This is one of the very amazing economy manager / economy plugins with a build in trade system, I don't remember using this in the past but I will do in the near feature and there is like 0 alternatives that you can make more then 3 currencies in your server.

Do I recommend UltraEconomy? Yes I do. Do I currently use the plugin? Currently I don't use the plugin but I will in the near feature.
Is the support team amazing? Yes they are amazing people :)

After a brilliant revive by Matrix which has added nearly all requests by the community, Ultra Economy has been revived and worked on. More translations, more features, dupe fixes and even more. Brilliant plugin. I am going to keep my old review because it still represents some of the cons. Thank you for the fantastic plugin.

After going through it all again, a big con is that there is 0 vanish plugin support at all. if your using super / premium vanish don't expect to be hidden in the player GUI. This also does apply for Customizer but this is really deal breaking and I think it might be for more as well. Be warned about this before purchasing

Onto my next review about Ultra Economy. This was a fantastic plugin who's development suddenly halted with the pasing of Techscode :( and which is slowly coming back to life by MATRIX. This is a fantastic plugin but with some minor hiccups which have yet to be fixed and I would catagorise as pretty urgent. This does include its lack of saving some aspects of currencies and just overal breakage at some point which is to be expected of a plugin which should be catagorised as still in beta as there are bugs. Other than that, your once again making sacrifices for the really nice GUIs. In this plugin it includes sacrificing placeholders and although many aspects are great, the documentation is lacking and feels like it is from 2 years ago with a lack of commitment from anybody to deal with it.

Great resource overall, I love most of the things about it, the only thing that kinda nags me about this plugin is that the player balance view is in a GUI, now that isnt enough to bring this resource under a 5 star, the only thing I would recommend is a way to disable the gui just for the /balance command.

Best economy plugin, especially if you are running multiple servers across a bungee-cord network, the MySQL and real time syncing works beautifully and is very easy to setup.
If you are currently using Essentials-X and Vault to manage your economy, you can easily transfer over to this plugin without loosing your current player balances, it's really easy to migrate over to this amazing plugin.
Also the Web Add-on is a great addition to this plugin, and since its such a new plugin, Tech will be adding even more features in the near future, so yeh, this plugin was a great investment for me and for all Server Owners out there!
