I will leave an honest review. A slow bot won't prevent it, just like TTProxy (and even Sonar can't, by the way). There are also some minor issues, such as not being able to disable the update checker and strange console logs in certain versions.

The plugin is very good, and thank you for fixing it!

need to add velocity support in the plugin for real. the plugin is nice, good and works fine but it doesn't have velocity support. i could have rate this plugin 5 start if it did had velocity support.

I'm using AdvancedBan. Both plugins use the prefix "ab". I couldn't give myself permissions in Advanced ban, because both plugins use ab.permission. that sucks.

This is a very good plugin to defend against robot attacks, but it references a lower version of FasterXML jackson-databind, which has the "asterXML jackson-databind Code Issue Vulnerability (CVE-2022-42003)" and is not secure. According to known information, an attacker can exploit this vulnerability to cause resource exhaustion. It is hoped that subsequent versions of this plugin can upgrade the FasterXML jackson-databind.

I personally choose a different plugin because it allows people to use their VPNs. I am saying this because I really recommend players joining with a different IP address so that they can secure their connection. I think this plugin should remove its AntiVPN thing so people can feel more secure and safe.

Tried to attack my own server on (native) 1.20.1. Bots were filtered and could not seriously harm the server. Great Plugin, must have for public servers!

After trying several attacks I can say that this is a very good plugin, it detected all the bots. 10/10

For more than a week of use, there were no problems, except that my friend was blocked for using a proxy / vpn, but he was without vpn, but for me this is not a problem because the server is not big and if someone is accidentally added to the blacklist, they will simply write to me and I I'll add it to the whitelist.
Nice plugin, especially if it's set up perfectly, but even with standard values in the config, it copes with bot attacks and blocks them!

We had a medium size bot attack happening, and I completely forgot to install any kind of an antibot software on my big project.
Honestly, i'm surprised it hasn't been attacked before, but here we are.
I switched through a few other plugins, and eventually found this one.
Took me a while to set it up how i wanted to, but after i did, it stopped the attack completely, good stuff.

please add this plugin on Modrinth website so we can suggest this plugin and get it on aternos too :D.

It's a great plugin but it's kind of sad it moved to github so Aternos users can't use (I don't use Aternos, but my friends do)
Otherwise though, 10/10 plugin!

Por algun motivo no me funciono, en primer lugar me arruino un lanzamiento porque detecto a todas las personas como bots, lo tuve que sacar, y luego cada vez que lo vuelvo a activar para probar, por mas que entren 2 personas detecta a todos como bots y los kickea. Inutilizable.

The best free Anti-Bot plugin on all spigot, congratulations and thanks to the developer for creating it. But after the plugin re-code the anti bot /uab mode on/off command is removed for the plugin, I used that command many times and i liked it :C

Just encountered a bot attack, the plugin is awesome! It seems like the server doesn't freeze and reloads if it hits its peak performance. Before the plugin, the RAM would just get overloaded and the server would die. But now, not only does it blacklist all the bots, but also manages the server well.

Great antibot plugin EVEN! Can imagine how many times this plugin safe me from bot. Without it I bet my server die so many times now.

Did some benchmarks with this plugin, botsentry and 2ls antibot. Ultimate AntiBot was the best performer (less cpu usage by far) and same efficiency. Best anti-bot plugin at the moment.

This is the best anti bot plugin on spigot, I have tried many types of attacks and it works great.

A very good antibot plugin. The look of it makes it look like a premium plugin. Tested a bot attack on my server, and it blocked all of the bots.

Works quite well. Most of the anti-bot plugins are paid, but this one is free which is a big +. It is very easy when it comes to configuration.
In my case it didn't block all of the bots (but about 90% of them). Which is really great score for a free plugin.

Nice as free work best with flamecord or xcord or waterfall

I am gonna give this 3 stars, this antibot is meh. When you disable the first join check or the verified bots rejoin it is not going to block them. I would add something more than just first join verification and some things that dont even work due to the fact i used mcbot free version. But i think this could be really good antibot if you add more check etc... It is not easy but i belive you can do it. Have a nice day!

So, I do not know If I'm doing something wrong, or what, But Nobody can join. Only I can, It keeps on saying that 95% blacklisting blah blah blah, and only 0% has been blacklisted, and I even put safebotmode thingy off, and it just doesnt work. Please help, Ill give 5 ratings if so!

Best anti bot plugin out there! Blocked over 2k+ bots on my server, if I didn't installed this plugin my server would probably shut down by now but this plugin saved my server! Would 100% recommend for your minecraft server <3

Didn't get botted yet so I can't really say if this works but seems other people had avoided attacks using this plugin. Installed this on FlameCord. So far, while setting it up, there was one problem with the messages.yml file where it didn't make sense but when I came to the Discord and asked the dev about it in a ticket, he was quick to respond and give a fix. But other than that it's great so far, if I ever see it stop a bot attack, I will update this review. Hope more people find this resource as it looks very promising so far. :)

Recently my server have been attacked a lot. I added this plugin mid raid (prob a bad idea) yet it saved my server from crashing & didnt let a single bot in. It blacklisted around 5,5k bots. This plugin really saved my server.
