Whitelist users to your server with a Twitch Reward

Introducing the Twitch Channel Whitelist Plugin! This fantastic Minecraft plugin connects your Twitch channel with your server, making it a breeze to reward your viewers with automatic whitelist access. Plus, it promotes Twitch engagement by announcing when a streamer goes live or offline. Customize your broadcast messages to add a personal touch!

Configuration

To get started, you'll need to edit the config.yml file. Here's how you can configure the plugin with your Twitch channel info, reward IDs, and broadcast messages (don't worry, the plugin will auto-generate a similar config for you):
======================
OAUTH_TOKEN: OAUTH_TOKEN
allowedRewardIds:
- REWARD_ID_1
- REWARD_ID_2
channelNames:
- CHANNEL_NAME_1
- CHANNEL_NAME_2
liveMessage: " Streamer {name} is now live, playing {game}! Title: {title}"
offlineMessage: "⏹️ Streamer {name} has ended their stream. Catch you next time!"
===========================
What to put into each config section?
  • OAUTH_TOKEN: Grab your Twitch application's OAuth token by creating a new app. You can also get one in https://twitchtokengenerator.com/.

  • allowedRewardIds: Add the reward IDs for automatic whitelist access. To get a reward ID, run the server with the plugin, then have the Twitch channel owner redeem the desired reward with the text "register whitelist". The console will confirm if the reward was linked successfully.

  • channelNames: List the Twitch channel names the plugin will monitor for live/offline events and for rewards redeemed.

  • liveMessage: Customize the message that's broadcasted server-wide when a streamer goes live. Use {name}, {game}, and {title} placeholders.

  • offlineMessage: Personalize the message that's broadcasted server-wide when a streamer goes offline. The {name} placeholder is supported.

Usage

  1. Use the config.yml file to configure the plugin with your Twitch channel info and reward ID.
  2. To obtain an OAUTH_TOKEN, head to https://twitchtokengenerator.com/. Click "Custom Scope Token", then scroll down and hit Generate Token! Log in with your Twitch account, and voilà, your access token will appear at the top of the website.
  3. Fire up your Minecraft server.
  4. Configure rewardIds for the channels in your config.yml file by redeeming rewards and typing "register whitelist" in the Twitch chat (only the channel owner can do this).
  5. Now, viewers who redeem the specified Twitch reward will be added to the whitelist automatically!
  6. Enjoy the plugin's server-wide live/offline announcements for streamers! Customize these messages in the config.yml file to keep things fresh and engaging.
Get ready to connect your Twitch channel and Minecraft server like never before with the Twitch Channel Whitelist Plugin!
