Travel Scrolls Beta



When a player renames an unopened map via the anvil to "Travel Scroll"
It becomes something more! Players can then right-click where-ever they are standing (scroll in hand) to create an active travel scroll teleport point no matter the world they are in. It will then prompt them to name the scroll anything they wish via chat.

When a player wishes to use a created travel scroll, they simply hold it in their main-hand and walk through a nether portal. The nether portal will instead take them to their travel-scrolls set location point not the nether/overworld default.

This beta is for concept use, if you enjoy it please leave a comment and I will begin more updates based on user preference. As it is now, this is a gameplay extension, there is no config.yml or permissions to be setup. All players should be able to create and use the scrolls.

This could be used in place of set-home mods and etc. for a more vanilla-like teleportation travel system. The scrolls use data that cannot be faked at an anvil, meaning the player must have actually been in the spot the scroll teleports to, as is the only way to set one up. This could also be good for servers that are looking to give players the ability to finally place value on locations. Players could use this for all sorts of things or simply to give others a map to teleport to their spawners/ towns/ etc. there are many use cases.

This is still an early beta and if desired I will provide config.yml and permission options, if you do not like how it is now. How to set it up then? Drag and drop into your plugins folder! Simple.
