Purpose: Trackers is meant to be a plugin that allows you to mimic the functionality of compasses in other games. Although it was originally coded with the intent of tying into a custom quest plugin I have to point towards objectives, it wouldn't be possible to release that all publicly. Instead, it can point towards players and predetermined objectives. I'm not too sure how useful that is, but here ya go. Also, I wanted a way to utilize a new feature I've been working on where you hold shift to open a 3d hologram menu which acts as a GUI and is entirely interactible.
Requirements:
- Java 11. This means NOT java 8. If I get one more person telling me a plugin is broken because THEY aren't using the most up to date and supported java version I'm going to have a mental breakdown. Please stop doing this. Update yourself. Get some help.
- If you launch my plugin and an error pops up saying you're compiler version is 52 and I'm using 55, you better not come to me. Turn to your host and you tell them hey bucko, update your amazonian, barbaric tech. That's showbiz baby.
- HolographicDisplays (You MUST have build 97+ which corresponds to 2.4.1 if you are using minecraft version 1.15.x. AKA if you're using minecraft version 1.15.x, you MUST install the version this link leads to.)
Test Servers:
- None yet. This is awkward.

⟿ Unlimited Trackers: Players can add as many trackers as they want and the server can configure their own maximum if they see fit in config.yml.
⟿
Unseen Hold Shift To Open Menu: Refer to pic below. Hold shift with no item in your hand to open the tracker menu. The menu is a 3d hologram which is interacted with by left clicking the holographic buttons.

⟿
Track Locations: You can track preset locations made by the server staff
⟿ Disable Player Tracking: If you have a popular player who doesn't want to be bombarded by tracking notifications, give them the permission "trackers.disableplayertrack". If you are opped or have all perms, make sure you give yourself "-trackers.disableplayertrack" if you WANT to be able to be tracked.
⟿ Track Players: Refer to pic below. You can request that a player allow you to track them.

⟿ Per Player Holograms: Hologram menus are only visible to a single player!
⟿ Random Tracker Color: Upon tracking a new location/player, the tracker will be given a random color.
All commands require permission "trackers.staff" to perform
⟿ "/trackers set <name>": Create a trackable location for players to use.

I'm just a poor, poor, aerospace engineering college student. This is just a hobby. You have no need to give me money. However, if you wish to help pay for my overpriced books and classes, that would be extremely appreciated.
