But I just tested running commands on right-click with non-opped players, and it worked just fine, even with sets.

Not currently. The problem is figuring out where the line should be broken, because the font is proportional (ie., an "A" is way wider than an "i". But if you're willing to live with inserting a "\n" in the text, that shouldn't be too hard to implement. Also, the bottom line of the board would be "pushed out" when one of the top lines break and occupies two lines, right? We'd have to get the mechanics straight.

Thank you for the review. I'm not sure I understand your question...
If you're asking about detaching a board from a sign, use the "sign detach" command. Also, every new sign you attach has a default text that needs to be edited.
I'm sorry if I don't understand your question.

OK, I've taken a look at Minecord - I mean, I looked up all the information I could find on it, short of paying 9 Euro to buy a copy :-)

So, without actually having run Minecord, I did see a couple of things you could try:

1. In Minecord's config.yml file, you could change the setting 'UseScoreboard' to false. This would completely disable the use of the scoreboard by Minecord (for everyone, all the time). Yeah, I didn't like this option either...

2. A combination of things just might work. In Minecord's config.yml file, there's a setting called 'RemoveScoreboardOnDisconnect', that removes the scoreboard when a player is not chatting. Also, Minecord has the 'md toggle' command, which toggles a player's voice chat. So try this:

a. In Minecord's plugin.yml, set RemoveScoreboardOnDisconnect to true;
b. In SignBoard's plugin.yml, set BOTH 'cmd_before' and 'cmd_after' to 'md toggle'.
c. Restart the server and test.

Try it out, let me know if it works.

To disable the SkillAPI scoreboard (it's actually a MCCore board) before a SB board is shown, and re-enable after the SB board is gone, edit the SignBoard config.yml and change BOTH cmd_before and cmd_after to 'board toggle'.
Then save config.yml and do /sb reload. After that, your boards should behave fine.
There is a side-effect: every time the 'board toggle' command runs, it prints a message on the chat area; you might want to ask the SkillAPI developer to include an option to disable that message.

Starting on Signboard 1.1.1, the method for determining when a player is looking at a sign has completely rewritten and should solve the problem you experienced. Hope you can give it 5 stars now :-).

A new version should be coming out in the next couple of days that will allow you to "attach" and "detach" a board to a sign. That way the sign doesn't need the [boardname] on the first line... it can even be blank...

Your current SignBoard will automatically update when the new version comes out (unless you've turned off autoupdate), and I want to include a 1-time message to OPs to let them know what's new.
