  • Added support for PlotSquared, after all, we do have simple API now, so why not, its literally 40 lines of code with most of them copy/pasted from WorldEdit Polygon effect to have this support. So now you have a command like /svis plot which will show bounds of current plot you are in. Different colors will be used for plots you are not a owner. Additional, added option (enabled by default) to show plots bounds when entering player-owned plot (any player) this will display particles for a short time period, default is 2 seconds, can be set to any other length.

As of some old request to have an actual API in this plugin for people to use it when they want to display something with help of particles and the general need for an update for the base code as it was becoming somewhat messy, recoded entire plugin and made it easy to use by anyone. API documentation will be added later at www.zrips.net webpage. (P.S. It's now SSL approved, so yey for me)
The base code of the plugin got shift+delete action, just to avoid doing some copy/paste, so new engine is completely different and allot better to handle more stuff at same time with simple ways to add new visualizations with more then 3 particles, which was main huge limitation with previous version, now its limited to... Well, currently to 10 particles for each visualization, but can be expanded to any number if needed.

Now for the change log

  • New section for residence subzones, will have separate option to define particle colors, update interval and so on. Previously it was using the same settings as of generic residence
  • Now you can have more than one particle visualizer running at the same time. This is limited to visualizer type, but in the example you can have chunk and grid types enabled at same time, or have factions and grid enabled with we paste preview
  • We Cylinder selection got separate color for sides and top/bottom
  • Now when using //copy visualization will appear automatically
  • Added new strange command (somewhat funky and can't promise that it will work) to show bounds of the biomes around you. This will mark where one biome ends and where another starts with approximate colors for that biome, so the river gets blue particles while forest green.
  • Now visualizations like Towny, factions and similar will have slight infill for areas to indicate what type of area it is. This only applies for player-owned areas and will not show up for a wilderness. It can be turned off in a GUI editor. Enabled by default.
  • Some changes in how GUI looks when changing a particular visualization. And gui size was expanded to 6 lines. Which allows us to have up to 6 different particles for one selection
  • Now particle colors can be changed in a separate window. just to have cleaner look and have more customization over that. If particle can be colored, so if its redstone dust or note, you will have the option to middle-click it to open color edit window. Which will contain the usual 3 color buttons to pick red green and blue channels.
  • Now when picking color for a particle you will have an approximate color name in a GUI title and you will have option to pick one of 9 (from 140 possible) random colors presented in a color picker window. You can still change it one value at a time, but now you have the option to pick from some preset colors.
  • Now when middle-clicking color it will be randomized for that particular color channel.
  • Removed izone support as its no longer maintained by a developer
  • Now you can watch more than one player's selection areas
  • Compacted config file and playerData files
  • Default colors will be reset and your old config file will update itself with new values. As most of the visualizations got their own specific look by default which will help out to separate one cuboid from another.
  • Now factions zone visualization has 5 different colors for Own land, Enemy land, Ally land, Neutral land, Truce land
  • Added some tab completes for the commands.
  • Updated player data save mechanic, which should be faster then previous one.
  • Fixed issue with point command not marking final block
  • Fixed issue with older servers not colorizing particles
  • And now you can actually change point command particles to whatever you want.
  • And I can bet I forgot something, but its enough at this point.

What this mean that you can skip every second particle and on the second particle draw cycle other particles will be draw. This will automatically lower update interval by 0.5 for each skipped particle. Why this you ask?   • Added support for Towny plugin to show claims in 3 different particles. Your own claim, where are you a Mayor, green particles, some ones other land will be in red and land where you are added as resident it will show up as light green. You can always change default colors in config file. Commands as usual, /sv towny (fixy) to show nearby land claims and GUI got additional button on bottom to adjust towny particles. Player will need to have sv.towny.use permission node to see land boundaries after using /town claim or /town unclaim.

  • Ok, firs new feature is to see other players selections with simple command /sv watch [playername]. For simpler code and to avoid overwhelming particles from bunch of other players, you can watch only one player at time. it will show exactly what other player sees.
  • Now big feature, which one is live saver for me... Now you can see WE paste location before pasting it!!! Yes yes, you can even rotate or flip it and it will show exactly where it will be pasted. Command is /sv we paste. And yes its supports schematics, just load schematic like usual and use /sv we paste command. This feature will be getting some overhaul later on to be even more useful.

  • This is first update, but its quite big as i had couple days for it while waiting for this plugin to be approved. Size grown almost by 20kb and there was huge amount of remake of base mechanic how plugin handles everything. So in some seance its 2.0 version with firs update, but to keep it simple, we will say its 1.1.0.0 ^.^
  • Remake of config file, now all selection types have its own default settings. So each selection can be different depending what it is.
  • Config file supports color definition in it for better experience.
  • Gui was expanded to support growing plugin support and just to have some spare space for future updates.
  • Now you can set separate colummn and row spacing for all selection places (i'm just calling them: Frame, Sides, Extra). same goes for particle cap.
  • Now each player can set particle range, update interval and for how long to show particles. They still cant go over or below default settings, to avoid unnecessary load on server.
  • Added full support for Factions plugin. Now you can clearly see your claim boundaries. And to be more awesome, you will see enemy and ally lands in different colors (green - own land, red - neutral/enemy, purple - ally)

  • Added option to fix particle show height for grid and factions by adding fixy to command, in example /sv fc fixy. This will show particles in particular height if you would like to have better view from above.
