The Questcreator Plugin is Great. The big downside is the support. I still haven't received any message or help in the discord since last week.

Anyone reviewing this plugin poorly oughtta read the spigot terms of service to ground their expectations, you get it as is. With that being said, the plugin as is is fantastic, has great customization, and there are quest packs you can buy if you need some examples of quest formatting to learn from. Support has been slow due to life happening to the dev, thats just how it goes sometimes, but the plugin is great, has vast depth, and is a great addition to any server!!! Currently it is not up to date but the dev is planning to address this towards the end of the month

QuestCreator 6.48.0 was used in Minecraft version 1.19.4. Unable to open edit mode. Forced me to downgrade the version to QuestCreator 6.47.1. And in other versions, when the task objective type is set to "PLAYER_MMOCORE_SKILL_CAST", it cannot be completed and an error is reported.
When it will be fixed, I will revert to a 5-star rating.

Having used QuestCreator for 2 years, I can attest to its incredible versatility and robustness. This plugin allows you to create everything from the most straightforward tasks, to highly complex branching quests with optional integration to lots of other resources.

Don't expect to be able to plug and play with this resource. This plugin only provides a very robust platform to build your own quests off of. Learning how to use the plugin and creating engaging quests required substantial effort, but it was definitely a worthwhile investment. The plugins documentation is also very extensive and helpful.

Updates and support have been extremely slow at times in the past, sometimes taking months, but the developer has since returned and has begun releasing the source code to buyers per request, which is a great and very much needed step towards ensuring the future longevity of this great resource

Definitely recommend if you're willing to put in the work :)

Developer has been MIA for 4 months with absolutely no communication. Support is pretty much nonexistent. This is the second period of radio silence in the last year, ironically despite being online discord frequently.

Developer has expressed over the last year that they are busy with university and life obligations, which is understandable. But to go radio silent for months on end, multiple times, is not acceptable for a resource with this kind of price tag.

Plugin is completely broken on 1.20. Genuine shame because this is a really fantastic plugin.

I offered to update it on behalf of him but did not get a reply. I do not recommend this plugin in its current state. I hope it can be open sourced so it can get the attention and love it deserves, because it's near perfect at what it does when it works.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the state of the Minecraft plugin I purchased for $20. Despite its once-great reputation and the promises made by its developer, the plugin has been left to languish in obscurity for close to two months.

Not only does the latest version of the plugin fail to work without manual compilation, but the developer has gone completely inactive, leaving the community in the dark about whether or not any updates or bug fixes will be forthcoming.

It's disheartening to see such neglect and apathy towards a once-great plugin. With new Minecraft updates on the horizon, it is unclear how much longer we will have to wait for the plugin to be updated and brought in line with current gameplay.

I urge the developer to take swift action to address these issues and restore the plugin to its former glory. The community deserves better than this, and I sincerely hope that our concerns will be heard and acted upon promptly.

It's a good plugin with lots of features, but even if you report a bug, he still hasn't fixed it. Don't expect support.

Very good plugin and still one of the best to create super custom missons and make it for RPG servers, that if the state of the dev is very slow to update and repair errors, obviously the plugin works but it is also a thing that has errors or bugs that were reported and were not yet repaired.

Plugin is amazing to use but holy shit does it crash your server for no reason. Like I understand the things gets fixed but this has been an issue for more than a month, I at the end of the day don't want my server to crash cause someone dared to check out the ranking section after doing /quests what's wrong with this.

The Plugin itself is incredibly powerful.
It has options like stars in the Universe.

But all these Options are useless if you don't know how to use them.

It's a great plugin, but riddled with bugs. I have had issues with the quest scoreboard not appearing, staying after quest is completed, not showing up at all, spamming console errors, quests sometimes completing early when they shouldn't, all for over 5 months with no resolution. I've had to create my own plugin using this plugins api to run code to clear scoreboards after quests are completed, and set up /qc reload on a timer to fix the scoreboard randomly not showing up when people start quests.

I've gone as far as provided solutions and code that could potentially be integrated to resolve these issues. Dev has been on hiatus for a while and nothings really been done in the last 5 months of me reaching out for help. This just isn't ideal.

Most recently the plugin has completely hung the server after someone completed a quest. I had to kill it because it still wouldn't respond after 5 minutes. We lost 30 minutes of building because the world wasn't able to save.

In its current state, I would not recommend the plugin. While it has some pretty fantastic features, the bugs really ruin it.

After paying for this plugin a minimum of discord support is expected but what I find is a question that I have not received an answer from anyone in 12 days. The support is mostly given by other users, my issue required direct support from the creators or at least a helper, but nothing. The plugin is very difficult to use and as it lacks support it is 0 for me.

new update make something unusable Since version 6.37.0 I have opened a ticket for a week but it is not supported yet. The plugin is good but doesn't have good support. Because the tickets are really overdue. I'll come back and add stars after seeing the real change.

Please support the latest version of mythicmobs, mmocore and mmoitems. Now your plug-in can't work normally for these three, please! Please, please. Please, please. Please, please. Please, please.

The plugin is all-around complex, unique, and extraordinary. You can tell when using Quest Creator that countless hours went into developing it, and Guillaume wanted it to be one of a kind, and he achieved that perfectly. You will not find another questing plugin as well as this one.

The plugin definitely seems good enough and functions as advertised. My only gripe is the support on the discord isn't the best, or at least in my experience it is not. I've had much better support from similar plugins. Besides the support the plugin itself is very good and very in-depth.

As far as I know, this MUST be the greatest plugin to exist.
As far as I know, this is also the most complex plugin to exist on earth though.
But though, this is a really great fully configurable quest plugin to have on your server.

It's been a while since my last review for this plugin. QuestCreator is just what I needed. It's complexity gives me a room to create different and interesting quests that are different from other plugins. I loved the consistency of the dev's update rate and info on his schedule to align with my server update. Compability with other plugin are also working (I used it with MMOItems and Mythicmobs).

Some things to work on for the devs is probably the wiki, the wiki right now is great, but needs more improvement on consistency of some informations. Those informataion that I am confused with however, would be easily answered by the dev / staff in a timely manner over at their discord.

Overall I am very satisfied, 9/10

Unlike what some people said, this is a great plugin. Even tho it's hard to take in hands, the plugin has A LOT of features. This ain't a drop&use plugin, it is designed for advanced use only. If you favor quality over sloppy work, I can only recommend this plugin.
If i'm honest, I was reticent at the beginning regarding it, but after using it for something like 2 weeks, I can guarantee that the plugin exceeded my expectations.

The support is active and friendly, and the plugin receives updates frequently.

1: In 6.11.0 version it works for EN but if I change language to CN, it doesn't work. The server will show up: An internal error occurred while attemping to perfoms this command.

2: In 6.11.1 version, it accually didn't work just showing up:An internal error occurred while attemping to perfoms this command. I didn't change any config file because this verson was empty in QuestCreator file.

3: 6.11.2 version is as same as 6.11.1 version. when I type < /qc > it will show: An internal error occurred while attemping to perfoms this command.

I just want you to fix this problem quickly, and I don't want to give you a star. I also know that it's not easy to write code and fix bugs.

Hi, I found a serious Error, when I do / qc reload. My server close
There is another problem, when I start my server and it is loading the QC plugin, it freezes for more than 1 minute. then finish loading.

When I change the setting to Chinese, I can't use it "An internal error occurred uhile attempting to perform this- command
". Then why do you allowothers to forward it on the Chinese channel? Are you a fraudster?

Fantastic plugin with more features than any other.
That being said, this is not a plugin for those with no experience using very complicated configuration, as somebody who can actually code software and is currently learning how to correctly create QC quests, this is not for the faint hearted.
I was considering 4 stars purely for the lack of assistance learning, the community is very quiet and the author, although clearly very skilled in creation of plugins, has very limited time to offer support.
That being said, this is not an issue with the plugin not working correctly, purely a huge barrier to the average server owner using this plugin.

To sum my review. I'm happy with QC and I think that it is beyond fantastic, it does not try to sell itself as easy and certainly delivers on that promise.

Please try to encourage community support. This is a huge let down currently and will make your product so much more useful.

Great quest plugin! It's hard to learn but it has many features once I got the hang of it

I wish I hadn't paid for this. In 10 years, I've never seen a plugin with a user experience this poor. The docs impossible to figure out. IF you can find the button to ask for help, you'll eventually get an answer. An update last month crashed my whole server. This month a bunch of settings reset and my quests started acting crazy... and I discover I have to relearn the config files all over again (back to bad docs). See below reviews. Notice the only positive reviews are raving about support. Everyone either hates it because it's hard, or loves the dev for saving them from the awful docs. If it was actually good, they wouldn't need support. I'm done using this, and I recommend you skip it too.

1) the creator is active, he always tries to be punctual with the upgrades, his private life sometimes complicates him but there is always there to help, his community is clean and very growing.

2) the plugin is not easy this is if you are looking for quality, price and a good plugin that have enough power to do 35 missions in story mode, if you are not looking for something that powerful, do not use it since you are only looking for simple and easy things.

You should write the default gametes for several tasks, which I can't understand after the version upgrade.

I have spent nearly 30 hours translating it, but I still don't understand it.

The most successful plugin of quest systems, work updated very regularly and stable. An accessible developer and a team of good advice. I really recommend.

Ok let's explain some comments below and give my opinion on this plugin since my last one was about 1 year ago.

The comments are basically people who do not know to inform themselves on a bought. I'm not defending this plugin or dev, honestly it has nothing to prove. It works perfectly fine, 800+ downloads and an active community of people who took the time to learn it. The documentation may be for the moment a bit low indeed, but it's totally possible to learn this plugin in 1 to 7 days.

Beware, if you are a small server owner, if you want to create basic quests go check other free ergonomic plugins, because this one is advanced.

This plugin is NOT easy, this plugin is NOT very ergonomic but this plugin is the ONLY ONE with literally everything possible. It needs practice, it needs time, it needs experiment and community support but you will get amazing renders and exclusive content created on your own. It's basically a true scripting plugin and some people do not understand this.

About my opinion, I have been running this plugin on my servers for about 2 years. Never got any major problems, whenever I needed something the dev looked at it and may have added it. Guillaume is amazing and one of the most active dev out here and an extremly kind person as he became my friend since we met on QC.

This plugin is by far the best ever Quest plugin. It's an extremly big toolbox and like every tool, it needs practice to not cut a finger while working. Get it at your own risk but when you will master it you will be able to do almost everything you ever thought about in a Quest, like my server that literally became another game into MC.

And to some persons under, stop being unfair, you are some of the few that did not understand the plugin under 2 days and got frustrated. Learn patience and ask for help, it will help you a lot in life and think again about your bad reviews.

Je ne comprends pas les évaluations négatives, il s'agit du plugin le plus complet de spigot niveau quêtes pour ma part, les possibilités sont presque infini.
Ce plugin ne permet pas que la création de quête.

Je m'explique vous pouvez déclencher des événements, actions, commandes à l’interaction des joueurs, à leurs connexions, vous pouvez presque tout faire avec (exemple un quizz d'entrée serveur? une vérification? un Tp aléatoire pour votre monde ressource? ...).

Le comprend que certains râlent sur le fait que ça soit compliquer ou cher mais quand on voit les possibilités de ce plugin c'est juste génial, il faut juste un peu de logique de jugeote c'est peut être long pour certains mais largement faisable -_- sans compter qu'il existe un wiki complet et un support... Le plugin vaut vraiment son prix.

For the price, this plugin should have better information about how to use it, support is very slow (mostly non-existent), and there are many features that just do not work. I consider this plugin to be an epic waste of my money and time, I have spent months trying to get it to handle even some basic quests, it's just not possible to do them with this plugin. Another quests plugin is doing a much better job for me now, after only 2 days of effort.

This plugin is, well, one of the best quest plugins publically available to everyone. You can create any type of quest with any purpose with this plugin, with it integrating into a ton of plugins to allow you to do a lot. This plugin is what it says it is and delivers on what it sets out to do. It's complex because it offers so much and it's amazing!

Extremly useful plugin. The main issue is the wiki won't help you completely. There is only one outdated and short video tutorial for this plugin. The support for this plugin in the discord is slow as well. Overall this plugin would be 5 stars if I knew how to use it and got help perhaps a lengthy youtube tutorial from a dev of the plugin will help a lot more people since their issues may be covered in the tutorial.

J'ai le plugin depuis longtemps, il y a environ 1 mois j'ai ouvert un serveur, mais a cause d'un bug dans les gui je n'ai pas pu utiliser le plugin et cette fois, je dois réouvrir la nouvelle version du serveur, et le plugin spam d'erreur dans les logs. Pour être honnête, ce plugin n'a jamais vraiment marché, y'a systématiquement un problème qui fait que je ne peux pas l'utiliser sur mon serveur, les patchs mettent beaucoup trop de temps a arriver, et le plugin a beaucoup beaucoup trop de bug, tout est bugé, rien ne marche.

Après j'avoue que j'utilise le plugin sur des versions assez old de minecraft (1.7 ou 1.8) mais si il est impossible que le plugin marche en 1.8 & 1.7 alors il ne faut pas marquer comme quoi il supporte les versions la.. j'avais acheté exprès ce plugin car c'est l'un des seuls pl de quete qui prend la 1.7


De plus l'ergonomie est une chose qui n'existe pas avec ce plugin tout est compliqué a faire, y'a des fichiers de partout des options ici et la on comprend rien.

Genre la par exemple, j'ai 3 quêtes différentes "tuer des créatures"
- Une quête tuer des pig
- Une autre des zombies
- Une autre des squelettes

C'est pas compliqué putain, des quêtes ULTRA basic, tu te dis que le plugin va pas t'emmerder et qu'il va marcher MAIS NON.
Déjà j'peux prendre les 3 quêtes en même temps alors que dans la config j'ai mis 1 en même temps max mais bref, ensuite, quand je tue un zombie, les 3 quêtes évolues, pas uniquement la zombie, genre la quête tuer des pig a progresser de +1 alors que j'ai tué un zombie et non un pig, pourquoi ? Comment ? Impossible de savoir, c'est le plugin qui est bugé ? C'est moi qui est mal config ? Mais pour trouver qu'elle option dans les options des options des quêtes créer ce bug j'en est pour 1500ans. C'est des choses du genre qui vous feront péter les plombs avec ce plugin.

Le dev est quelqu'un de bien, mais le plugin est trop bugé trop compliqué, je le déconseille

The dev is really nice and is definitely there to make sure everything about the plugin is functioning, but sometimes you have to wait a bit for support. So have patience with this plugin and use the community for support!

The system is one of the best. Realistically, all systems touched by this author become golden rated five out of five stars. Just Getting help quickly. Easy to operate system using GUI or configs files. Endless ideas in discussions Discords. The system supports endless plugins even the latest... Frequent updates. There are endless reasons for choosing this author's works. Errors are resolved quickly. Just the author, one of the best, maybe the best.

Very powerful quest plugin with rich features. However, you must assume that you will spend hours to understand how to use it. The plugin does have in-game configuration option, but it's just much easier to directly change yaml due to the fact that there are so many things you can simply configure to your needs.

More importantly, dev likes his work, and is willing to improve his work. Not every updates may be perfect, but he updates and fixes things as time goes. Highly recommended to anyone who is willing to find a solid quest plugin.

3 stars for now. works very well, little difficult to understand at first, a lot of tinkering, wiki could be better, broken down a little more with go to tabs, but ---> 5 <---stars really. as soon as I'm done figuring everything out, id like to help out with a tut video or 2, or more, as theres (while looking at everything this plugin can do) so much more you can do with this plugin. really looking forward to using every feature I can out of this.

Filled with numerous options, incredibly customizable, and actively supported, QuestCreator is likely one of the best quest-like plugins ever made.
It yields options such as objectives, conditions, rewards, branches and etc; not only that, it's super customizable, allowing you to change things to your ideals. And if that's not enough for you, the plugin also offers a discord, capable of supporting and answering any of your issues. In conclusion, QC is a unique, supported, and fantastic plugin that obviously outranks any other quest-like plugin existing on Spigot.

If you need quests, get this one. QuestCreator beats every other questing plugin out of the water.

Pretty much everything is documented on the wiki. As a result, I was able to figure out pretty much everything by myself. Once you learn how to use it, the plugin is incredibly easy to use and efficient at what it does.

On Paper 1.13.2, no other plugin worked for me for providing daily missions. During a flight to another country, not only was the developer able to fix almost every issue presented in GitLab, but he also added another major feature regarding NPCs and was able to implement daily/weekly/monthly quests into the plugin.

Guillaume is active in the Discord and you can tell he put a mountainous amount of hours into it. This plugin developer is probably one of the best devs I have encountered on spigotmc.

If you have the money and are looking for a questing plugin, buy this plugin. It is honestly worth every cent. So far, this plugin has fulfilled pretty much all of my needs regarding questing.

This plugin is the perfect and best plugin for Questing. I would recommend, even if you're using any other Quest plugin, to make the switch to this one now.

It has more functionally and customization than any other plugin I've tried, which was many. This plugin gives your server a more professional look, and makes Quests look more clean and sleek.

Although there's a bit of a learning curve to it, take some time to read the wiki provided and you'll learn. Upon first installing the plugin, I had absolutely no idea how to start - but it took me a little less than an hour or two, and now I'm creating Quests I couldn't possibly make with any other plugin.

Although I am still learning this plugin, once you get the hang of it it is easy to do. You can pretty do whatever you want with this plugin and customize it however you desire. It works well, great wiki, and editing configs or through game is simple after a bit of reading. Plus the dev is active and will answer any of your questions and actually takes the time to make sure you fully understand what you are doing even if you haven't bought the plugin yet. This plugin will be the foundation to my server. Thanks again!

The developer is very active and always happy to accept requests or fix bugs. Of all the quest plugins out there, this one by far strikes the best balance between user friendliness and customizability. It's well worth the price.

Ok so where you should I start,
This plugin is by far the best availaible quest plugin actually on the market
Way more complex and customisable with a lot more possibilites than the other actual plugin. When it is said that you are free to do WHATEVER you want, it means really EVERYTHING you can think of
If this is not enough, the developper is VERY active and involved in the project, and when I say that, it’s that it is still the case after already 4 months
The actual community of the plugin is great and really helpful and the discord is very well managed
Even if there are bugs, be sure that when you will report them, they will soonly disappear
Plugins of this type are rare and need to be encouraged
By far, one of the best plugin I’ve ever seen (and only god know how many I’ve already tested)

Easy to use system thanks to the graphical interface proposed in game, I highly recommend to anyone wanting to create a RP server project, some small problems can occur sometimes but the developer is very responsive on the discord so everything is fine

In summary, this plugin is much more intuitive and more complete than its concurrents in my opinion !

One of the few plugins that gives you so much freedom when creating quest. In addition, assessment is also influenced by the attitude of developer who constantly fixes all errors found.

This update is amazing, fixed alot of bugs! My favorite thing in this update though is the addition of particles over npc's when they have available quests. As someone who used Quests before this is a welcome addition. I highly recommend this plugin to anyone who wants a quest plugin that is as advanced as BetonQuest but as easy to use as Quests. This is by far the best plugin I have ever used!

Pretty good resource with a few issues. The dev is very helpful and friendly. The GUI can be buggy but I see no one else seems to have these issues so it might be my other plugins. I give a 4/5 stars because of the issues I have encountered. Otherwise this would be a 5/5 plugin! Thank you dev for making this! I am making a RPG server and this puts the icing on the cake for my server!

GUI: The gui has a ton of functions that make working with this plugin a breeze to use. It's user friendly and self explanatory. I have had a issue with it not saving changes and buttons missing but as mentioned above it could be something on my end. 4/5

DEV: The DEV has a great response time for issues and is very friendly! 5/5

Plugin Files: The files are easy to manually go in and edit but if the GUI was working properly you in theory wouldn't need to go and do this. 4/5

Best quests plugin you can find. Developer's responsive and actively working on both his PyrCore and QuestCreator which make it a lot easier for all of us to create and modify quests to our likings. Was honestly not interested in buying this plugin at all in the beginning but I don't regret a single moment of buying it. Support is easy to get, configurations are more than clear and the possibilities are endless. Keep it up, I love it more than anything ♥

When I first started using this plugin, it had promise, but the system was way too buggy. After getting in contact with the Dev and helping him on how to simplify things, he worked hard on version 1.4.0, which made the system not only more simple, but made it more complex and advanced. This is by far the best Quest plugin I have seen since ZQuest (R.I.P). And its worth every dollar. The Dev is not only responsive, but fast at updating and cheerful. Yes the quest system is via configs, but trust me when I say its worth the time. Simply saying Best. Plugin. Ever.

I test a lot of quest plugins which support citizens and QuestCreator is the best by far. You can change everything and create what you want.
