Accidentally tapping a bee can cause a swarm of angry bees to attack the player. Unfortunately, this often results in the death of the bees. However, wearing full chain armor can protect the player from their stings and calm them down.

Bees are flying neutral mobs that live in bee nests and beehives. They pollinate flowers and, when they do, add honey to their home when they return to it. When full, bee nests or beehives can be harvested with shears for honeycombs or glass bottles for honey bottles.

In real life, Apiarist clothes are designed to protect beekeepers from bee stings while tending to their hives. These clothes are typically made of smooth, light-colored material and include a veil and hat to protect the face and neck.

In Minecraft, players can use chain armor as a substitute for Apiarist clothes to protect themselves from bee stings. This can be especially useful when harvesting honey or exploring areas with a large number of bees.
