After 5 years, PlayerPasswords is back with a full recode! This release finally adds hex color support through the use of MiniMessage as well as many new features and bug fixes. This version is not compatible with past versions, so it will require regenerating your config file.

Fixed: Made permissions playerpasswords.required and playerpasswords.bypass no longer default to ops.

Added:

• Update Checker. Players with the permission playerpasswords.admin will be notified when the plugin is out of date.
• Outdated Config checker. Players with the permission playerpasswords.admin will be notified when the config is outdated.
• You can now toggle what players can and can't do when not logged in.
• Added blocks for dropping items and interacting with blocks and items when not logged in.
• Added permission playerpasswords.bypass. Players with this permission will be able to bypass password requirements.

Fixed:

• Using /login without any arguments did not give a usage message.
• Using /reload caused players to no longer be logged in.
• When typing a command when not signed in, a message would appear that said: "Blocked: /<command used>".

Note: Due to several changes in this version, the config file will need to be updated.

Version 1.2

Added:

• Players can now only type /register and /login until logged in when passwords are enabled.

Fixed:

• Optional passwords did not work due to an algorithm error. This has been fixed.

• Passwords are now hashed, making it harder for someone to figure out by reading the data file.
