The plugin is fantastic; I have yet to encounter a problem.
Because the motd wasn't working, I just started using his other plugin to make it work.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Makes it easy for players to see if they are on the wrong version before they try connecting.

I quested a feature in the authors support discord & got a working jar in about 15 minutes. The plugin works as expected.
