⚙️ Installation, Requirements, and Support


Requirements:

• Minecraft Server: Paper/Purpur 1.20+ (Required API version for modern features).
  
  
• Database: MySQL / MariaDB (Required).
  
  
• Dependency: Vault (Required for economy integration).

Setup:

1. Deployment: Place NexusGate.jar into the plugins/ folder of ALL backend servers you wish to sync.
   
   
2. Configuration: Edit config.yml on ALL servers with identical MySQL credentials. If you encountered the UnknownHost error, ensure you use the host-ip-fallback setting.
   
   
3. Start/Verify: Restart your servers. You must see the [NexusGate] Database connection successful. message in the console.

Core Command Descriptions (Player and Administration)


The primary command for the NexusGate plugin is /nexus. These commands are vital for player control and administrator oversight, ensuring data integrity across the entire network.



Player Command

• /nexus sync
  
  • Permission Required: nexusgate.sync
    
    
  • Description: Manual Data Synchronization. This command allows the player to manually trigger an immediate, synchronous save of their current data (Inventory, Stats, XP, Ender Chest) to the central MySQL database, followed instantly by a reload of that same data. This is useful for ensuring data is current right before a critical log-out or server transfer.
    

Administrator Commands

• /nexus admin reload

  • Description: Reload Configuration. Safely reloads the plugin's configuration settings (config.yml, sync-exempt-worlds) and all language files without requiring a full server restart, allowing for quick application of administrative changes.
    
• /nexus editor

  • Description: Open Data Management GUI (Cynosure). This command opens the graphical user interface (GUI) central to the plugin's administration tools, enabling access to player profile searches and high-level data management functions.
    
• /nexus reset <playername>
  
  • Permission Required: nexusgate.admin.reset
    
    
  • Function: Network-Wide Data Wipe. Initiates a critical, network-wide deletion of the target player's entire data profile (Inventory, Ender Chest, all stats) from the central MySQL database. The command automatically opens a Confirmation GUI to prevent accidental data loss.
