Only a few plugins doesnt work on paper, AND THIS IS ONE OF THOSE
And please make a server discord to chat about this problems because not every plugin is perfect, but if you don't create a way to comunicate i don't find alternatives but a bad review.

turns out the plugin does support hex color code xd if anyone is having some issues just use this $hex%#FFFFFF% and hex should work

Publish the source code of the plugin since you are not going to maintain it any longer. The plugin works with errors on the latest versions. And so, if there was source code, then those who really need this plugin would be able to fix the bugs for themselves.

Great plugin, we can do a lot with it. Been using for 3 years now. It would be better if it was open source so we can report bugs on github or open PR to fix some annoying bugs.

for some reason if protocol-lib exists in the plugins list, its treated as a dependency (confirmed by dev) but if its out of date, it breaks Mycommand.

I ran into this issue, i by chance talked to another server with this issue discussing a unrelated issue, and i see the last review has this issue

Heads don't work in IconMenu on version 1.21.1, and there's also a duplication bug (and it's not caused by another plugin because I tested it by removing all plugins, even with the server's default configuration). However, there's no way to contact the creator to fix it, they abandoned the project.

Plugin has insane protentional, sadly the developer is inactive.
The plugin for example is heavy on the server CPU and memory usage, once you got a couple of commands running, server TPS will drop significantly.

Too many plugins use "playerdata" as their player data storage folder, it conflicts when I'm saving my data to MYSQL.

exelent plugin, i use it since 3 years it worked good, but i have updated my server in 1.19.4 and the registered commands don't override plugins command anymore. like /vote was the mycommand /vote now its back to voting plugin.

I love this plugin! It is so nice and easy to use! Just wish there was a way for /daily to be a thing, like players can do /daily but have a 24 hour delay, not sure if that is a thing or not. Otherwise, really cool plugin!

Good plugin but doesn't allow u to run commands with formatting tags like &l and &o it will kick the player executing the command for illegal argument. Hope this can be fixed in a future update

Great plugin for any server, no matter what type of server you own.
The ability to shorten commands alone is worth downloading it.
But it can do so much more than that!
The wiki is very helpful and the prebuilt example commands truly helped me understand how it works.

The plugin is wonderful, it has multiple interesting functions and adds a very unique touch to my server, even though what I was left with in doubt is whether animated titles can be created, that is, when executing the X command an animated title is sent the player next to a subtitle with movement that changes every time. give me an answer please

Best plugin ever, so usefull, you dont need to be a programmer to create your own advanced commands

Needed something to solve a relatively simple need we had and found that this plugin will also help us fix a really complex issue we had with something else. Nice one, dev, a great drop-in plugin with a whole host of examples we can edit for our own needs. A+ Well done!

Insane plugin that lets you create a lot of things.
I do wish that documentation gets updated and is explained a bit better. Other than that, you can create a lot of things with this plugin alone.

On the surface this plugin may just appear to make some little commands, but it is crazy advanced when you get into it. I made an entire working friend system with MyCommand along with some custom server mechanics. It's an amazing plugin with lots of potential.

Excellent plugin. Baffles me people leave poor reviews when half the time they don't even bother reading the documentation that is literally provided to them. Such a diverse plugin and opens so many more doors for servers. Honestly a must have.

I have one issue with the plugin right now which makes it unusable. If fixed this is perfect!

the Plugin "advanced lobby system" recognizes every custom command as "non existent" and basically blocks them. I dont know why but it does. If this gets fixed it's a perfect plugin for me.

Using MMOItems and LuckPerms to set up the ability to right click a block and open a custom crafting station. Does not work for non-operators. It doesn't say you cannot use this after I gave people the permission but it doesn't open the station, it still says there is a cooldown if you spam it. If anyone can help I'd be happy to change my review. Also I know the command and stuff all works because it works for operators.

- Add a command to remove playerdata all players only one variable, not all (for example /mycmd-playerdata removevariable allaccounts [var])
- Add the ability to delete playerdata variables with an event in the script if they are no longer needed, for example:

The best all-in-one plugin in my opinion. Sadly, there's an exception that generates on performing SCOREBOARD type commands in new releases on 1.12.2 servers (using PaperMC), so this feature is not working.

A very daring plugin, it's flexible as long as you know the basics of how a programming language works. It can do a lot of amazing things, it's very easy to customize and the documentation is accurate and complete.

Do you know how to use characters that give errors in TEXT command? I was using ":" characters in TEXT, and they give errors and the entire command fails. How do I insert them?

I loved this plugin however had an issue. I have it all set up and the commands work well. A few hours later they completely stopped working. I can't seem to find any reason why.

Exceptional plugin, as mentioned it is an incredibly powerful plugin. Exactly what I was searching for, probably the best plugin ever created for Minecraft period. Be able to make any command, do pretty much anything, with any conditions. Excellent replacement for many simple plugins and can customize your server exactly how you want it.

Some ICON MENU issues:
Items cannot use ":" in name and lore.
"/mycmd-edit command_name generateiconmenu" doesn't work right.
It does not have support for using NBT data.

It would be interesting to see those features and thus stop using other menu plugins.

This is an incredibly powerful plugin, I have to say THE most powerful plugin yet that I've come across. I have been able to design an entire war event function into my server with this plugin alone.

Of course, there are some issues and things I have to nitpick, such as RUN_COMMAND_TASK commands not being able to be run by the console, and the while loop functions are fairly bugged e.g. running a command every second with "task_repeat_every_sec: 1" will work for the first 5-10 seconds, and then it starts getting hung up on itself and only repeating every ~5 seconds, which is unfortunate when you want to set up a Timer variable that decrements every second precisely. In addition to this, you cannot do a global Scoreboard that's runnable by the console, and the functions are fairly limited for what I would prefer.

Regardless, it's an overall amazing plugin, I highly recommend it. The documentation is incredibly easy to read and understand, I would say even for any users who haven't programmed before. This is the best plugin I ever had. Highly customizable. You can create whatever you want. The only thing I miss is taking money in scripts. I know I can do it in the "cost" field, but if I can use it from the script it would help me to develop some commands.

Amazing plugin, I only have one question. How do you make it so villager NPC's provided by My-CMD dont attempt to trade with players? I'm trying to make it so when the player clicks an NPC, it RTP's them, it works the first time. But after that, the villager attempts to trade with the player.

Very powerful plugin if you understand how to use it. I recommend taking your time to carefully read trough the documentation before jumping in the config files, and seek out the features you need. This resource has replaced a lot of my smaller plugins.

I already commented that the TAB does not work in 1.8.8, if I write / and then the created command does not come out, I have created and registered it in the command folder, I have added it to the tabsuggestionblocker tab. yml and in the config I have enabled the option and it should work according to your documentation but it does not work, tab 2 commands that are skin and skins, when only what I have added to the tabsuggestionblocker.yml should appear, the only thing that works is the creation of commands. In addition, it does not offer support to write the errors and incompatibilities that the plugin has. I have this plugin for my 1.16.5 and it works perfectly, but in 1.8.8 no hints are supported, only command creation.

Is there a way to add different ItemSet commands for the same items, but with different names? For example, I want a stick named '1' do /command1, and a stick named '2' do /command2.

This is an amazing plugin. I've used it for several things in my server. I have one question though, is it possible for the iconmenu to add a cost for clicking on 1 of the items. For example I have an item which you can click to upgrade your stats. Is there a way to add a cost?

This is THE BEST plugin to run my commands without giving players permissions to run them otherwise. I LOVE this one because after you figure out exactly how to get it set up it's super easy and can be used in tons of different ways. I'm having an issue with Hex colors and text commands. I have some commands that will display some text in the chat and I also have it setup so some of the words have text shown if you hover your cursor over it. For some reason the Hex colors placeholders don't work in the hover text, but they work fine in the normal text. Any hex placeholders past the ";" just dont work for some reason.

Excellent plugin, it really annoys me that I had to download a separate plugin to do one thing, but mycmd fixes it all. I have one feature I want to suggest which is the ability to run commands or text when a player joins for the first time. Other than that, the plugin is great

This seemed like the perfect plugin, but it's mostly jam packed with bloatware. Tons of features irrelevant to the core function, and reason people looked towards this plugin. Things such as standalone economy shouldn't be packed into a plugin that's meant for shortcut commands essentially. The work is appreciated, but this is not a plugin for people looking to have just a lightweight custom commands plugin.

The plugin allowed me to implement my ideas. I was not able to learn java, but I mastered the scripting language of this plugin at a very high level and this allows me to do anything, however, in the latest version, support for characters from other languages has broken. This hit my server very hard and a bunch of features broke after the update

Such a Great Plugin for any server wanting to make custom text based commands, some plugins make their commands 20 letters long, with this you can reduce that down. You can even give your players access to kits, books and such with console commands through this plugin without having to set permissions. A++

It brings so many possibilities and much that you would otherwise use ready-made and resource-consuming plugins can be easily implemented with MyCommand.

This is probably the best plugin I have encountered. It made my server highly customized and fun without the need to search for a dozen plugins that accomplish the same (sometimes worse).

Great plugin, using it for numerous things. One of the things im doing is making an NPC shop using this and a guiShop plugin. One small problem (not huge but rather odd and annoying, the reason I only give it 4 stars instead of 5) when an NPC dies and autorespawns, it moves up a block... each time it dies, 1 more block... I came on my server and a zombie had gotten to the NPC and he was suddenly 2 blocks in the air. /mycmd-npcs respawnall fixes this but it would be great if it didnt happen at all (npc should respawn in the same place) but it would be even better if there was a config option to prevent the NPC from respawning at all... I think it would be cool to have a "medic" that when clicked, runs the respawnall command

This is an extremely good plugin. Initially, I had just gotten it to setup command binds to items and setup command aliases (little did I know the best place to do that was in commands.yml). But the more I used this plugin, the more I realized just how crazy it is. I have been surprised so many times by what this plugin actually has to offer. The scripts have been extremely useful for some of my great ideas, mycmd tellto is useful because its raw text, it even has bungee support. And you can even register the commands with tabcomplete. And I haven't even mentioned half the stuff you can do with this plugin. The only plugin that I have reviewed due to just how impressed I was by how much different things were in what I believed was a small, simple plugin.

This is most amazing plugin and work perfectly on my 1.14.4 server, but i have one cuestion. I want to create ATMs where players can withdraw money, but if I use the / i paper 1 name: banknote command and I add permission in my cmd, essentails send information about the lack of permissions, what should it do to work?

Amazing plugin! Super handy for making shorter commands. Yet has many other cool features! You can create custom GUI menus, you also have the ability to run commands with buttons, pressure plates, signs or even villager NPCs + more! They are just some of the few reasons I would 110% recommend this plugin!

One stage we were running the version of this plugin that was tested on 1.10, on 1.13 without any real issues, other than not being able to use items in later versions of Minecraft, there were no major issues!

Great plugin. Gives a lot of possibilities in doing much with less. Tho' I have a question:
In a command that has a decision (if) - is there way to:
1. Check for the group (pex plugin) of the player running the command
2. Query (check) for a players group in a custom command that takes a player names like parameter?

For example:

there's a custom command with a permission to only one player, lets say "mycommand.customcommand.transformrank"

the command is /transformrank <player>

The player running the command, has the above permission on his user

Then, the command takes the <player> which is another player then the one running the command
and, I want to check if <player> is in group A run some commands
if <player> is in group B run other commands

Is there a way to do that?

Great Plugin! It says it works with PlaceHolder API. How do I utilize this? I've looked and can't find an answer. I'm trying to make a command that shows me a players Ping, and maybe other things as well.

Awesome plugin, but executing "/sudo <name> <mycommand>" says there is no such command. If you can fix that, U ARE THE BEST!

Maybe you could add a way that you can place a certain variable and it will just execute the command and another command because right now if i would like to execute /rules and when you use /rules it warps you to a certain area I will get a loop

This plugin is SO useful for those trying to make a professional looking server without having a developer to make custom plugins. This plugin can be used to make commands easier, make custom commands, and even hide plugins from users. I haven't come into any problems with it. Can be confusing at first with commands, so I recommend setting everything up in the files. Another thing that makes this plugins amazing, you can have a yml file with custom commands for a certain category. For example, if you are trying to hide plugins, all the commands you edit to hide the plugins go into the 'plugin-hiding.yml' file in the commands directory. Overall, an invaluable plugin that works perfectly. (I'll edit this if I come across any bugs or issues, but none have shown up thus far.)

Absolutely amazing plugin. I was originally using BetterAlias but it didn't support cooldowns so I had to look for a new plugin. This was suggested and I was hesitant to check it out but I'm glad I did. The author provides a TON of examples of how this plugin could be used which makes it easy to create your own.
It's basically 30 plugins in one if you're creative in how you use it. I'm using it for a custom /help filled with tutorials and commands. In addition, I use it for aliases.
I definitely recommend this plugin.

Please note: The only bad reviews are the ones where people did something incorrectly and thus assumed it must be the plugin at fault, not their own mistakes. If you check the profile of the people with the bad reviews, you'll see people have responded and told them how to fix their mistakes.

Perfect plugin, it's work perfectly for me, idk why it's not work for other guys, the plugin just not support special caracter.

Could you create that for Bungeecord? Would be pretty cool

This plugin is amazing! Works flawlessly in 1.12 and it's way, way, WAY better than the other command plugins I've tried (DeluxeCommands, etc). This one has so many variables to use (even WorldGuard regions!) and allows so much control (making commands work differently in different worlds, for example). I really hope the developer hasn't abandoned it, because if it stops working in a future version it will be awful to lose it. Please, developer, please keep this plugin going! It's the best!

I have used this plugin for a long time, I never bothered to rate it. But I am in a good mood and wanted to rate your resource, I love it, it's the most custom plugin I've ever seen.

Still, runs perfectly in 1.12!!! Great for making modifications to you server commands.

Im trying to make /f f into /f who

/f who
= /f f

yeah its pretty simple and i did it, but if you do /f who "factionname" it will tell you its wrong and you have to use /f f (1.8 faction), does anyone know what the variable/argument is for the text the player inputs after f who? or how to create one? :)

so i could do something like

/f who "variable/argument/faction name"
= /f f "variable/argument/faction name"

Or maybe this already exists inside the plugin as default? Any input is appreciated. :D

Great Plugin, have been using it for a while now. Only a few issues, but nothing serious. A more detailed description of scripts would be excellent, or even popular scripts submitted by users. Thanks!

I am not leaving this comment as a hate comment but, With this plugin your server can get griefed, NOW wait before you say im just a hater.. I love this plugin and thats why im rating it 4 starts, But the ability to link a command to any item or sign or anything or the /mycmd runas console, are the best commands for griefers, I KNOW you cannot excuse these commands without permission, But I found some ways of exploiting the plugin and using the plugin to give myself op. And my server got griefed multiple times and the damage was big since my server is quite a known server(not self adevritsing)
I am a plugins developer my self, I know making a perfect plugin is so hard, Sorry for the negative review im just saying my opinion

This is an Excellent Plugin, almost anything you can think about can be made (with a few exceptions). One Suggestions is to make a Forum (or similar) with user made commands and scripts using this plugin so the general public can share their creations and find examples of more complicated things to make. If any one is interested in this idea hit me up at PM or playdeca.com (i will more than likely answer faster on the server than here)

I did rate 4 stars, now I've changed it, as the author is not responsive to issues on github after the update. You can't update a plugin, and then go MIA. After the update, the alias command no longer targets $player or $world. Hopefully he will see this review, and give some help. Then i'll change the review. Other than the issues with creating your own commands (what this plugins main focus is, 'MYcommand') it just doesn't work. I wouldn't download it until the author fixes the issues. Just keep it in your back pocket.

when my default players type a command they get "Don't use commands so fast", they have permissions but still not working.

Its works ok but does not have a variable for it to select all players, it only has a variable that selects a random player or a player that ones a command...Would not download if you are trying to find something that can run a command for all players or that has a variable for all players...

The best command creator plugin. Highly customizable and with a lot of variables. The Excellent rating was the minimum you could get for this

THIS PLUGIN IS SO AMAZING! It has absolutely everything I could ask for. And it really comes in handy if you are a server owning wanting to hide some commands or make your own just how you'd like. I highly recommend this plugin for all server owners!

I recommend this plugin badly!

This is a great plugin but i can't make mycommand.sign.use work.. it only works for OPerators :S (i've tested it with both GroupManager and PEX). SIGN listener is enabled.

This is the best custom command plugin that I have ever used. You cam make any kind of command you will ever need with it and there are tons of settings for commands. Plus there are a bunch of other features. I was able to replace 3 plugins I was using with just this one plugin.
