Super useful plugin to limit the world size not physically with a world border but with Increasing difficulty.
I think this is a great plugin for any SMP server!
I love the idea in itself, but you decided to add some super cool and unique features such as Failsafes and Mob clones.
I have 1 question though, what is a "mob level" And can I specify how often will the mod level start to rise?
And also, I have 11 ideas to make this plugin perfect:
*Do not get overwhelmed, plz just read them. I am just giving ideas ;)*
- Make an option where I can disable this plugin in specific worlds
- Make a blacklisted biomes list where I can specify the biomes where
the new difficulty will be disabled.
- Make an option where I can specify how often a mob level will rise.
(For example rise 1 level every 100 blocks from 0, 0) Additionally, I
can specify that the level will only start to rise after a player is for
example 1000 blocks away from 0, 0.
- Add the ability to limit the mob level (To for example 50) So that
mobs can't just one-hit you when you are 1,000,000 blocks away
from spawn.
- Add the option to specify how far away from the spawn the Failsafes
will start to work.
- The further away you are, mobs will have a bigger aggression
distance, so that they can see and agro you further away.
- Make Creepers have a chance to spawn as charged creepers the
further away you are, also give mobs more powerful weapons and
maybe even some effects the further away you are.
- Make players heal slower, and more hungry further away they are.
- If you are very far away, nights will be extremely hard, they will be
"Blood nights" There will be 2-3x more mobs, they all see you from
very far and they are super powerful.
- Raids can spawn naturally on you even if there is not a village
nearby.
- All this is configurable so that you can disable/enable/modify every
aspect to your liking.
Alright, that was all of my ideas there.
Keep in mind that I am just giving you ideas for your plugin, you do not need to do any of these, do not feel any pressure on that.
This plugin already has so many cool features to begin with!
But keep in mind that it would still be cool if you could even consider on making even 1 of those features, since I really would hope to see those features in Minecraft!

As for your question, the mob level says how powerful the mobs are. By default, each level gives +25% HP and +25% damage. You can set this under the world-settings with more details there.
It's called level since most players are familiar with it, and since you can use your own XP levels to keep up with the mobs.

Good idea, I have tried this plugin on my testbench, so far so good, everything running in excepted.
BUT, I'm confused, i can find ton of settings in config.yml but no where to modify the titles and messages, they're hardcoded in binary and no way to translate them.
It would be great if I could modify the message.

This should now work on just about any version of Minecraft.
You will have to change the config, however, to get it reliably working. 'use-subtitles' should be false.

You'll have to change the configuration file per world, however. Set the 'blocks-per-level' to 0 and the 'center-level' to 0 and it will act as though it wasn't there.
