Wow just wow! Is working perfect on a paper 1.16.5 server. And it is super easy to configure! I've installed over 300 plugins already and this has to be under the top 10 favourite plugins to install and configure. Game sets up with 3 commands... just wow!

Great plugin. Really in depth. Has everything you need in a chess game and SUPER simple to setup as it automatically builds the chess board for you! You can build your own little arena around the pre-built chess board if you like to make it cozy and customised to your server :)

Kept up to date for years so the dev is working very tirelessly! If I could afford it I'd chuck a donation. Might do that when I get some income (Im out of a job rn D:)

The plug-in is fantastic; I used it to play a game with a friend and it was great fun. I would like to suggest another plug-in for a mini-game of Chinese. If the current chess plug-in is great, I believe the one for Chinese, created by you, would be even better!

Sorry for my early assumption, castling indeed works but it is confusing, most chess programs indicate the position next to the rook, but in this case the indicator is under the rook and its hardly visible

It is a valid move with the king and rook, but the plugin doesn't seem to allow it

I love everything about this plugin, the fact that you queue in with signs and the size of the pieces are all just perfect and I tried so many times to get this on my server but I'm really sad that the plugin isn't updated to 1.20.1. I would be so grateful if you kept on working on this because it is a fantastic plugin. Thanks!

It's sad that you no longer support the plugin. A few more features and it would be perfect. The ability to change figures, a little more PlaceholdersAPI placeholders so that you can use third-party plugins for the scoreboard and maybe Bungee-mode with 1 arena server. Oh.. Hi, great plugin I just had a problem, we have a plugin with a scoreboard and when I enter the game of chess it mixes and at the end of the game it deletes the scoreboard, is it possible to turn off the scoreboard of the game? We tried a lot of things nothing worked I would love help

Been using this plugin since my servers inception however as i added more and more plugins its started creating more bugs, since the dev is to lazy to do anything with the plugin or put the plugin's src on the internet its impossible to fix anything. a great plugin by its self but horrible in a group. go download something better.

The plugin itself is good, me and my friends on my server like it. Just one problem. (At least on 1.17) you need to have op to use the sign to join. Other players need to use the command. Otherwise, great plugin!

Very cool plugin! I've made a chess game mode on my server and the players love it!

I have a couple of suggestions:
1. It would be useful to be able to display remaining game time using placeholders.
2. Winstreak placeholder so I could make my own reward system based on the win streaks.
3. Log individual captured pieces
4. Ability to change figure models
5. Party and friends Plugin support so party members could join arenas together.
6. It would be nice if you made a discord server so we could communicate more easily and maybe I could help you if you don't have much time for plugin development.

Hello! First of all, amazing plugin! My players love to play with it. I have noticed two tiny issues, which can be considered the same:
1 - A player can castle and get his own king in check ( https://i.imgur.com/4vggVBP.jpg), I captured the enemy king which should not happen
2 - A player can castle while an enemy piece guards one of the cells between the king and his arrival position ( https://i.imgur.com/7Z7mcyC.jpg), which is forbidden
3 (?) - I didn't try it, but castling while on check or when the king or the rook have moved is forbidden, could you verify this? Apart from these little details, you did a great job, thank you!

He leído que para futuras versiones implementarás el poder modificar las piezas, quería proponer si sería posible la idea de un "mapa" para cada jugador. En el cual se dibuje el tablero actual con sus actualizaciones de cada movimiento. Sería una gran ayuda visual para los espectadores de cómo va la partida y para los jugadores para ubicarse un poco mejor en el juego. No sé si sería posible pero sería ideal. Un saludo

Beautiful plugin, works as advertised as I have had no problems whatsoever with it! Easy to configure, too! I highly recommend it!

May I suggest adding a chess clock instead of just one clock for both players, it seems that when one player is winning they just let the clock run out :(

GREAT plugin! It’s the best chess plugin I found. If you can learn to use armor stands and add to be able to change the size of the chess bored it will be MASSIVE and this plugin would blow up. I am an owner of this huge event called MCPR with HUGE creators. If you want to be a developer we would gladly let you join the team you are very good and have good experience if you can do thoses 2 things I will tell people after the end of the event about this plugin!

This is a good plugin that works pretty well. There's a few things that I'd love to see implemented -

Instead of an all encompassing time limit for the whole game, make the time limit apply to each player individually with two separate timers that pause upon that players completion of their turn. This is more realistic and would remove the need for player turn time limit. Going along with this, I would also make winning a game not necessarily dependent upon the highest captured piece point value in the event of time running out, but simply whoever's turn it is who fails to move before time expires.

Second, and this is not unique to this chess plugin, the scoreboard feature seems to toggle the main game scoreboard I have set up upon leaving a game. I wonder if that can be helped.

Anyway, looking forward to using this in my upcoming server, nice work!

Could use an improvement with available permissions and customizable chess pieces, but the plugin has so far worked without bugs for me and my players, and provided a few hours of fun :)

Muy buen plugin, pero hay un pequeño error en algunas partidas, el rey siempre tiene que estar en el color opuesto al suyo, hay partidas que el rey y la reina están intercambiados de lugar, no sucede en todas las partidas, pero ocurre bastante, el resto de cosas esta muy bien ^^

Buenardo! estaría bueno una opción que permiticie sacar el scoreboard ya que uso uno y parpadeaban entre los dos xD (igual lo solucioné dejando el scoreboard del plugin en blanco [sólo con una linea: - ''])
Y otra opción que te deje deshabilitar el tiempo limite total de la partida de ajedrez. Fuera de eso el plugin es genial y queda bien en mi server survival. Gracias! :3

Hi! The plugin works perfectly, it's an very nice addition to any server. It would be nice if we could specify bets for some arenas (ex: 5000$ on vault or 16 gold ingots) instead of setting an global reward for all arenas. :)

Plugin is great, and im rly glad that you camed with that nice idea. Only thing that would be great if you could fix so players wouldnt get extra HP after leaving chess game. For example, if you spam join sign and leave sign you keep getting extra hp for some reason. I would be rly happy if you could message me so we can fix that issue. I rly like this idea of yours for plugin, and i hope you will keep it updated. Good Work:D

ajneb, soy sub tuyo te digo que es muy buen plugin MUY configurable y muy divertido y util, pero te pido dos cosas algun placeholder de tops, creo que ya te lo han pedido y lo mas importante, hay un pequeño BUG y que mi scoreboard del plugin Animated Scoreboard, cuando salgo de la arena, se elimina la scoreboar para el usuario, si se reloguea se arregla pero MUUUYY BUEN PLUGIN CRACK

Also for anyone using bungeecord arenas, just install JoinEventsPro so when people join, they execute commands to join a random arena, and when it ends you can send them back to the lobby by setting the arena exit to a pressure plate [possibly] or a room with npcs to ask whether they want to play again or not.

Fantastic plugin - high quality, and no bugs. This should be a premium resource, I certainly would pay good money for this resource.

I love this plugin. It works with no big effort or fuss and my players love it. To NamerPRO, your review is just mean. If you don't want to play chess in Minecraft then don't... but don't assume no one else wants to play it either. We love Minechess on my server.

Idea is brilliant! Plugin is perfect! But who is going to play chess on minecraft? Don't you think it's kind of stupid... Most people play minecraft to relax, but not to think. If you want to play chess, you should download a game or visit special web pages or just buy a real chessboard. Again, plugin is fine, so I rated it with 5*, but I don't think it will increase your online. May be I am wrong, but that's my opinion.

Un problema que tuve es que use /plugman reload MineChess
se borro toda la configuración de las ARENAS.
Un pena total, no quería reiniciar toda mi servidor. Pero bueno ya se hizo.

¡Excelente plugin! Todo funciona a la perfección, es cierto que faltan unas jugadas pero se que en un futuro podrían ser implementadas y el error que te comenté del promotion de peón a rey que era un "minibug". Pero por el resto está todo super bien lo usaré como modalidad en mi servidor aquí tienes mi review de 5 estrellas.

PD: En un futuro no estaría mal una scoreboard de Lobby con sus estadísticas, con compatibilidad de PlayerPoints, LeaderHeads etc y en partida una variable de el color que me ha tocado.

le doy 5 estrellas al plugin por lo nuevo que parece ser oque ya existen otros viejos y demás pero este esta actualizado y me parece mejor optimizado ya que en los otros me andaba lag en 1.8.x, esto no cambia que aun faltan jugadas y espero que las metas todas las posibles un saludo como siempre espero tu próximo éxito.

Un plugin excelente! 10/10, lo único que no me convence es que las piezas sean bloques con cabezas encima, daría un mejor aspecto que fueran mobs o modelos 3d, también me gustaría que en próximas actualizaciones metas una opción para que el plugin se pueda usar como un minijuego para el Main lobby y de esa manera más gente pueda ver la partida
