An update for MentionChat has been released! This is a minor update, which fixes a bug with the mention sounds and adds a slight optimization with legacy versions.

• Fix bug where a player can still receive a mention sound if part of their name is mentioned
• Slight optimization relating to detection of legacy versions (1.8.8 and below)

The next major feature update (v1.3.0) is nearing completion and this is a major one! Been working tirelessly on it and I'm excited to get this out for you all!
Also, the name "MentionChat" may be outdated soon as I add a unique feature I haven't seen anywhere else - message replies and threads!

I'm finally working on a major feature update (v1.3.0), returning features like mention types and new features like being able to click on a user's message to quickly mention them. Expect it soon!

An update for MentionChat has been released! This adds many new features, ranging from managing player settings to changing the mention symbol!
Here are the new stuff that has been added:

• New /mentionchat subcommands!
  • /mentionchat info - Same as /mentionchat, view MentionChat's info and perform an update check
  • /mentionchat help (1/2) - View the MentionChat help page
  • /mentionchat settings <toggle/format/sound> - Lets players manage their settings for MentionChat
• Players can now manage their settings for MentionChat
  • /mentionchat settings toggle - Changes if the player can be mentioned by others
    Bypassed with mentionchat.mention.bypass / mentionchat.mention.bypass.toggle
  • /mentionchat settings format <format> - Changes the format for the mentions
    Default is set in the config
  • /mentionchat settings sound <sound> - Changes the sound that plays when being mentioned
    Default is set in the config. Must be a valid sound ENUM.
• Added tab completion for /mentionchat
  
• You can now change the symbol used for mentioning someone, or have none at all! (JovannMC instead of @/JovannMC)
  Having none can cause players with mentionchat.mention.everyone to mention everyone unintentionally
• Players can be given mentionchat.mention.exempt to be exempt from being mentioned, no matter their toggle status.
  This can be bypassed with mentionchat.mention.bypass
• Removed mention type "MESSAGE"
  No reason why you should use this over "FORMAT", really, so it's been removed
• Removed warning in the console when the server is on a legacy version and using the default sound
  Instead, a new config file is generated for legacy versions which uses a sound that supports the legacy version.
• New permission nodes/commands
  
• New config version
• Bug fixes and minor QOL improvements

This release updates the config version, so please delete and reconfigure the config's plugin for the new entries!

An update for MentionChat has been released! This is a very minor update, which restructures the plugin. See the internal changes on the GitHub's commit history.

• Restructure the plugin to be cleaner and easier to maintain.

This update does not add new features or have any noticable changes. It is not necessary to update.
