10/10 plugin works on basically any minecraft version (1.20-1.21.4)
though I rlly want a placeholder to show current lpc format like %lpc_chat% or smh cause i need it

Anyone who has made minecraft servers with LuckPerms knows it's always a hassle managing the prefixes in chat. The days of being forced to use a feature-bloated likely to be outdated memory leaking "chat manager" to add prefixes are OVER my brothers. I installed this on my 1.21.1 server and it worked right out of the box with my pre configured luckperms group prefixes in the chat. Awesome plugin, thanks for this. I never ever write reviews but this deserves it. One thing I would think is useful to add as a config option to this is to display the user's name above their head with the prefix as well. There are other addons that do this but it would really make this addon a one stop shop for luckperms prefixes. Thanks for reading

Had some issues, and even tho it took a tiny bit until I found out where to message the owner of the plugin, he did add me on Discord in quite a short time, without any questions asked.

I then proceeded to ask him what could be wrong, he walked me through everything and eventually solved it alongside me.

In case you're confused what the bug was, it was related to group formats.
You have to make sure that under the group-formats, you enter two spaces before the role, that should fix it for you!

For some reason its not working on my Minecraft 1.20.1 Server.

I used to have it on my servers and worked, but now that I've updated the features of HEX colors are not working.

You need to update to 1.20.2. Messages get duplicated!

A simple and easily customizable plugin for LuckPerms that I needed. Work on 1.19.3

It's a great plugin, however having some issues with the chat doubling. I've had to remove the {messages} part, however now messages do not show in the console, but they are showing once in the chat now.

I hope there is a fix for this soon, otherwise will need to find another chat formatter.

Good plugin however my chat doubled. For an example when I type Hi in chat it puts Hihi. No tech support which is quite disappointing. Can I please request some assistance?

The ratings feel controlled, and the author seems to avoid criticism. I'm here to tell you the truth about this plugin. Yes, it works. No, all the features do not work (such as group formats.) Also {prefixes} does not go by high priority as it somehow skips the second prefix in a group and goes for the parent group prefix instead.

After years, this is the best, light, and simple chat plugin ever.
Just wanted to try to switch to something else after doing the next iteration of my server. And you know what? After 4-hours of research and testing, other plugins (even like EssentialsX Chat) - LPC is much better to me.

Amazing, lightweight solution for networks to reflect the rank of the user on all servers. I used it to add prefixes to chat in my lobby servers. Super good if you don't need a ton of random commands and options that eat up memory and CPU usage.

Great potential here! I have been having a bit of an issue though. I am trying to have it so the player has three prefixes by default from three separate tracks. I tried changing the config part "prefix" to "prefixes", however this just gave my player all the prefixes from one track.

Is there anyway I can have the player get 1 prefix per track?

I have luckperms bungeecord but I still have to add normal luckperms per server because of this I can't connect with my data from my bungeecord. Also when I connect the mysql. Please make a bungeecord that I can continue with this or have the mysql data connected from the bungeecord luckperms.

This is an amazing plugin easily was able to configure this plugin just by simply by making a prefix for each group.

I do have an idea for a future update if you could take it a step further and make local and global chat configurations so I don't have to find a compatible local chat plugin with this one!

Does what is supposed to do quite all right!

I love the ability to choose message and name colour. This combined with DeluxeMenus finally allows me to give someone the ability to change the colour of their full name only, and not each letter individually like Essentials nick would allow.

I have some additions that I personally would love to have that I'll put in the discussion tab.

I would make these features optional. Something like that would suit me but it's just a suggestion to add.

Heres my feature request, maybe consider adding ways for us to update the player listing per minutes? It could be useful if the placeholder we are using in the player listing format is constantly updating in game

This is an excellent resource, though its use may be kind of niche that is what makes is amazing. It is simple and easy to configure and I would highly recommend this to all LuckPerms users (this is great alternative to EssentialsChat).

I did want to make feature request (I think that more people requesting it might motivated the author). Similar to the person 2 reviews below me I would like to see per group color support. (I use both prefixes and suffixes on my server so the solution given cannot not apply to me).

Hey! Loved the plugin! Just one detail, when any user types anything between two %%, for example, "%LOL%", I get an error in the console and the message is seen unformatted. I think It's because the plugin is having problems thinking it's a placeholder. Could it be because my server is 1.12?
If it's possible, It would be great if it supported PAPI placeholders, as I would use it to put the prestige placeholder as a prefix, It's a prison server :D.
