ProximityText
Light-weight proximity chat - with optional floating “speech bubbles” above players’ heads.

What the plugin does
ProximityText replaces vanilla chat with a smarter, more immersive system:

Feature What it does Config option
Range-filtered chat Only players inside a configurable radius hear each other. chat_range_enabled, chat_range
Global chat toggle Turn the proximity filter on/off without a restart. game_chat_enabled
Above-head messages Every message a player sends appears as a tiny hologram (an invisible ArmorStand) above their head, then fades after a few seconds. chat_above_head_enabled, chat_above_head_duration, chat_rows_enabled, chat_rows
Stacked rows Keep the last n lines hovering, newest on top. chat_rows
Colour codes Translate & codes to § so players can chat in colour (if you allow it). colorize_chat
