Should still work by just updating BKCommonLib, as all version-specific APIs light cleaner uses are unchanged
Version: 1.19.3-v1
As a seasoned builder this plugin is a fucking godsend. So often do you encounter these massive light glitches when doing large FAWE edits they can ruin the look of a build completely. FAWE's built-in /fixlighting often falls short and this plugin is the answer. Many thanks to the creator.
So far so Good! I’ve been using this plugin since moved my map from old chunk rendering to the New one in 1.19.2 has been working great. Just read the “Do not” so, need to fix that.
Thanks for supporting new versions of the game, it helps the community a lot!
Certainly the existence of this plugin is of great value to all servers that use it. :)
This plugin works perfectly! (small tip: would be nice to make a /lightcleaner command so we don't have to check the config/page to get started to use the plugin)
This plugin is rly cool but please answer this question, does starlight already fix this bug??? or maybe it does but doesen't do other things this plugin does please im searching way to fix this bug
I trust devs of starlight will keep improving things. Sadly some plugins like FAWE do corrupt lighting anyway, and not always can paper fixlight fix that. If /paper fixlight does the job, no need to install this plugin. it's more of a thing people can fall back on, especially on older mc versions.
Version: 1.18.1-v3
It does exactly what I need it to do, which is to clean up light after worldedit operations. it works perfectly
Thanks for supporting 1.17, my server has some different update mechanics that ended up breaking the map lighting, with this plugin I can keep this crazy update mechanic and have the light working :)
As seemingly most others in this reviews section, this has also solved my WorldEdit lighting issue on the Creative server I have set up for my friends and I to build on, especially where '//fixlighting' is weak or completely useless on.
A great plugin that does at is says, however there is one thing that I wish it had. I am using a sudo command block to fix lighting in one of my minigames, and I wish there was a way to disable the messages.
Works really nicely. Only problem is that it will blacken out the light coming from glowstone under a carpet. Carpets should have light passing thru them. Hope a fix for that can be made. Otherwise it's the best light fixer plugin.
Ah interesting, I guess they technically occlude the bottom but looks like minecraft overrides it to allow light to pass through. Ill fix that in bkcommonlib next thing
Version: 1.16.2-v1
Works wonderfully. I noticed for some reason if you do large worldedits the corners of the worledits chunks aren't updated with the new light. Other than that works great! Thanks so much
A great plugin but there is one thing I wish for. Can u port this over to sponge (specifically 1.12.2)? I would love to use this since chococraft creates lots of lighting bugs.
Porting it isn't very easy, since it depends so much on BKCommonLib for some core functionality (namely, retrieving/storing light data). I'll keep it in mind, though!
Version: 1.15.2-v2
it saves my life, Thanks! Please Update to 1.16 :) it fixed FastAsnyWorldEdit bugs
Glad there's a light cleaner! thought I'm stuck on manually fixing the lights since other plugins didn't work, but thanks, it really saved my time fixing the lighting!

I'm crying I almost lost my will to host the server
This plugin is a life saver! 100/100 GUYS. Will send a portion of my donations to you if ever I got.
Holy moly. Light issues caused by me asyncly generating skywars maps have been haunting my server and costing me players. I installed this plugin and enabled auto fix. That's literally all I had to do. I didn't even have to use some sort of API (which I think should be added :/)
Great plugin! Just to be sure, does the automatic light cleaning have measures to slow itself down when a player is exploring really fast in elytras? It seems like this would slow the server down a bit, considering exploring really fast already slows the server down
Everything runs on another thread except for chunk loading and reading chunk data, so the impact should be minimal. It might cause the processing queue to fill up though, so it'll take longer until light in new chunks is corrected.
Version: 1.15.2-v1
Very useful resource. Helped me save a map that was plagued by broken lighting.
It doesn't always fix the lighting though for whatever reason. Although running it 2-3 times pretty much grantees the lighting will be cleaned up on the map
This plugin worked flawlessly! I had a .schematic file purchased from a builder with extremely bugged up lighting. After being referred to this resource I was able to fix the complete world in just a couple of minutes. Would definitely recommend this plugin.
Only tried the 1.13 verson so far and it works great. Easy to set up, and a single command fixes all of your troubles. Definitely recommend if lighting in your world is bugging you.
dont use!
no folder created after reload. bkcommonlib was installed.
Both plugins showup red, multiple errors in console. finally entire server crashed by the plugin.
1.14.4
Excellent plugin, does exactly what it says on the tin.
Lighting broke by new chunk rendering? Fixes it.
Lighting broke by WorldEdit / FAWE? Fixes it.
Lighting broke by weird lighting glitches? Fixes it, unless the glitch is your fault.
What's more, this plugin doesn't just fix bad lighting; it can also just help with making existing shadows smoother. If you're working on a map with a lot of height differences between sections or buildings, for example, I highly recommend using this plugin's commands frequently to keep stuff nice and smoothed out.
Great Plugin. i Did not know it needed the Extra Plugin. Still great Plugin.
"BKCommandLib"
fix Light chunks so much faster it would of taken me a Long time. Since i Do big builds.
"Unfixable Light Glitches"
yea i had to redesign my map a little a while back.
anyways thank you for such a good plugin.
Probably the best invention since sliced bread! Fixes broken lighting after doing world edits in mere seconds. No more mind dulling manual work doing block updates!
I was experiencing horrible lighting issues with my lobby and skywars maps, i was spending up to an hour flying around placing light blocks manually to "fix" it. Then the next day it would just pop back up again. This plugin saved my sanity and my time. Thank you for making such an amazing plugin!
Its a really good and damn useful plugin. I can only advise everyone with lighting issues to use it. The reason I gave it "only" 4 stars is that he command "/cleanlight world" crashes my server when attempting to clean everything at once. But its still really helpful none the less
I love you! This works! It is easy to set up! This plugin saved my lobby. My lobby is set to midnight permanently and I was experiencing the lighting glitch. This fixed it! Thank you! I have sent in a donation as well!
I'm gonna cry... all that time spent placing new light sources only to found out about this after... and it just fixes it all almost instantly. Thank you!
This plugin works, but it messes up inside buildings greatly! It makes all the buildings (inside) change light with the time of day. It's super annoying and I don't know if there is a way to fix this issue.
Been using this for several weeks on Spigot 1.13.1 and has never failed to work. Quick and easy to use, first time, every time.
Server now changed to Spigot 1.13.2 and this plugin is still working.
Works great! And fast! I wish there was a stand-alone single-file version of this entire plugin that I could somehow include in my world generator plugin I'm making, but for testing right now it works fine to just make sure this plugin is installed and then I can update things manually.
This plugin is awesome for those who have lighting issues, and even better if you use fawe on your server, It works much better at cleaning up than fawe's own //fixlighting, The developer is likeable and helped me out.
And it's free!
Does exactly what it says it does. I love it.
WE causes a lot of lighting errors, and their commands to fix light don't work right now.
This works even better because I don't even have to make a selection to fix.
A great plugin that does what it is supposed to do very efficiently. If you do encounter an issue, you'll be working with a very responsive developer who is eager to solve the problem
No, because making the light levels any different from how the client expects it to be causes 'fighting', where the client corrects the light the server sends. Not something you want happening.
this is exactly what i needed.
i was searching for a plugin like this one
because i have soooo many light bugs on my map and i couldnt find an easy fix for this
10/10 i recommend this to everyone who has anoying light bugs on his map
Plugins is very bad :| i use this in my server but a few minutes run to load chunk and has freeze server.. cause crash!!! (Detail: Spigot 1.9.4, LightCleaner_Latest, BKCommonLib_Latest!
How much memory is available for the server? World-wide fixing does put a bit of a strain on memory with continuous loading and unloading of chunks. If you're willing to work these issues out with me, you can send a pm :)
Version: 1.12.2-v1
This resource just saved me years of fixing lighting glitches on a map. Seriously, this is one of the most useful projects I've seen in a while. Thank you!
I usually don't write reviews, unless the developers genuinely deserve it, and let me tell you, the entire BergerHealer team (if there's multiple people on there) deserves it. The plugin is a necessity, especially with spawns you've worldedited in, seeing as how they have loads of light glitches. It does exactly what it claims to do, and is super easy to use. The developer/dev team respond quickly, and provide fixes in very little time. Because of the hard work they put in, they definitely deserve the 5 stars! :D
l rarely write review, but this plugin and the author earned it.
This plugin is made for fix the annoying light bugs on the map. Actually works and if you have a problem the developer will quickly answer.
I recommend it on any server!
HOLY SHIT.
I thought this never existed, As for someone with OCD. One of the many things that really get under my skin, it would have to be the lighting issues of this bloody game.
