Use alternative plugins to play lifesteal

Incompatible with Paper and its forks due to the developers own ineptitude. There is no reason to develop a plugin specifically for Spigot or use anything upstream of Paper on your own server. If you're looking for a lifesteal plugin there are much better alternatives. Do not use this slop, doesn't even consistently work on Spigot!

why does a player still have 10 hearts even though I've already killed him 20 times and he didn't get a ban

The plugin is very nice, works, easy to configure but i have a small issue. When i want to include the heart in the beacon crafting recipe, i paste the id of the heart into the recipe but it doesnt work. Instead of heart in the crafting recipe a dandelion appears. i dont know how to do it or if im even putting the right id in there..

I have a problem. In natural death hearts are getting vanished.
Can you tell me how can i fix it???

I used this plugin last season of my lifesteal server, and upon trying to update it for this season I found that the dev made some very questionable decisions along the way.
First of all, the plugin loads and then screams at you in your console for running paper.jar. Then you join the server and the plugin breaks its core functionality and spams a message IN CHAT every second telling you you're missing a dependency, helix. I ask you, where does it say on this spigotmc page that this plugin has a dependency? Then the dev claims paper is dropping spigot support and is buggy software. Refuses to elaborate. His beef with paper devs is unfounded and a ton of people are running away from this plugin like it's the plague.
Provide evidence that paper is dropping/has dropped spigot plugin support. I am not seeing it. The dev also just claims paper is buggy but provides 0 reason why. I'll never understand why this dev acts like this. Anyway, I have migrated to LifestealZ and the difference is absolutely insane. I am sure there are other better alternatives as well. Don't download this plugin.

Hopefully you can patch this soon lol, I found a bug with multishot crossbows where if you shoot it on someone with around 6-7 hearts remaining you might steal their hearts (without killing them) aside from that, this is a really good plugin!

This plugin is amazing everything works really good but the only problem is there's this bug where if you die from fire damage or just die in lava you will get banned off the server even if your at 10 hearts and you die once in lava you get banned instantly.

Its a great plugin and works flawllesly.BUT making a variable in the config file that says how many crafted hearts can a player apply would make it a 5 star

Its pretty good I used it on my server but players found a bug where they make 3 revive becaons and the first on work noramly but if you put one in the offhand one in the main hand and used it to respawn someone you still had 2 revive beacons

This is a very good plugin but when you introduce V3 could you add a command where we can edit the total heart cap. Would be very helpful cause the default 20 is a bit but if you dont have op it can be annoying because spare hearts just sit there lol.

10/10 plugin i only had one problem:

I made it so players don't get eliminated when they are left with 1 heart, but unfortunately, they drop hearts when killed, creating an infinite loop of hearts for players to abuse.

This is an amazing Plugin me and my friends had so much fun playing, but could you make it that there is a way that crafted hearts only bring you up to a certain amount so at a point you cannot obtain more hearts via crafting recipe and have to kill people besides that amazing work Thank you very much for submitting it for free

Pretty cool plugin however, the fact that clicking the link to view the recipe for the hearts sends you straight to the author's discord made me raise an eyebrow as i was expecting a redirect to a wiki page instead; everything else is pretty nice about this plugin. Definitely one of the best Lifesteal plugins out there.

That is an amazing plugin with the ability to customize everything very easily. I recommend it to everybody reading this. However, there are some features in the Revive Beacon menu that have not been implemented yet. Can I somehow disable them or change the name/lore of the items in the GUI?

In other plugins/datapacks heart can be crafted with ease, in this plugin it is hard and that is great.

It was working but for some reason whenever a player on my server leaves and then rejoins their hearts get set to 5. I don't know why this is happening but it started when around 8 people joined my server

Also great plugin as usual 10/10 my server players enjoying it, it made pvp rewardable. and since we have keepinv on, that made deaths a little bit punishable which is cool.

i would REALLY appreciate if you could fix the; if you go between worlds you have the hearts for that specific world and not all; because it is VERY exploitable and i dont understand why it even is an issue. really good plugin otherwise.

Great plugin, but there are some issues... I have 16 hearts (from killing other players) but whenever I enter the nether or end dimension my hearts reset back to 10. Hi i was wondering a few things but before i ask them i just want to say this is the best plugin i have ever used and it is brilliant - i also use your simpleCL and worldguard plugins along with this one.

the first question is I want to set a required resource pack to stop people using X-ray resource packs but i would like to know if i could have the resource pack u use in the plugin.

I also want to know how i can let the non-OP's do /lswithdraw but no other Lifesteal command.

Sorry to bother again but does this plugin need luckperms to be installed? another thing - I have a 16GB apex hosting server and when i go into certain config files when i type/edit anything the code immediately has an error code and when i look into it, it says that there is a "unprintable" character and it seems to be this character"§4❤" as it comes out in copy and paste but i was wondering if this will mess with the code.

one last thing the minimum hearts is defaulted to 1 right?

This Plugin is PERFECTION!!!!
There is only one little bug that if you enable it so when someone kills an Person it drops the Heart. But it should only drop it if the Killer has the maximum hearts

Hi, its me again, I just wanted to ask if its possible, can you make it so when someone gets eliminated, we can change the command into the config.yml? See,
instead of "banMessage", we can have:

"Command: ban %player% You are being eliminated"

This way, we can make it so the player who gets eliminated gets to gamemode Spectator and doesn't cry for a revive. I really hope you make this feature into a command.

I cannot type "cancel" in the chat after using the beacon.. make a way to remove the beacon from the config so we can have only hearts

Overall great plugin, and players are eliminated in newest update. However, I wish there was a way you could un-eliminate someone. Like /lsuneliminate <player>. This would be a great small feature!

Also I am wondering if you could add option in config that will let us decide if claiming withdrawed heart will restore full or empty heart.
I would like to give my server players option to withdraw heart, but if they have e.g. 10 hearts, but 2hp (9 are empty), then they can withdraw 9 hearts and claim these back to get 20hp back...

banning players after reaching 0 hearts does not work, version 2.3.9.
The rest work fine apart from these bans. When are you gonna fix it?

Hi! I loaded plugin on my server and i try tested this plugin. When I killed my friend he doesn't got ban(he has 1 hearth), but on the chat wasn't display broadcast about ban player, only time "48.00.00.0000". How to fix this bug?

Great plugin, fabulous work. One small issue I've been receiving in 2.3.2 is that when a player types "/lswithdraw" then right clicks to redeem the heart again, it works multiple times instead of 1. I'm sure this is already known but it case it's not, there is a bug.

It's a good plugin I looked in the code and the recipe for the beacon is a beacon surrounded by netherite ingots except for corners!!

I really love this plugin and I made a Lifesteal server with my friends. It worked perfectly fine for the first few months. Just yesterday, when I withdraw hearts, my heart isn't decreasing but I still got the heart item. When I use a heart, I can use it twice. I thought it was just because I kept using /reload. So I decided to delete the plugin and reinstalled it. When I reinstalled it, it only had the jar on the Plugin file. There is no config at all. It entirely got wiped out. Please help me out, thank you!

It works fine but i discovered a few bugs:
1. You deleted entire config except for elimination. That's a bad thing coz you have to copy old config which can be difficult.
2. Even with copied config, changing heart to beacon doesn't change the beacon's name
3. I have found no option to disable working hearts when player has X hearts, fe. Player 1 has 9 hearts and limit is 10, if he crafts it he will have 10 but next will not work, but if he would kill Player 2, he would recieve 11th heart!
4. The "type" option doesn't even work. i tried put command block here or even red dye for beacon one (coz I knew it worked for heart) but no. Items has same item as before.

This plugin has never worked. Why does it even have a spigot page? The author keeps bragging in his discord about how many downloads it has. Congratulations on wasting the time of 428,000 people. Do not expect this to get updated anytime soon.

I really recommend this plugin if you want to create an SMP.

its really good but theres a bug people have discovered so basically if you shoot an arrow at your self and withdraw all of your hearts it wont kill you but u get extra hearts

There is a problem with the minimum amount of life because something is broken and it is always 1 and it cannot be changed so you cannot be eliminated please fix it in version 2.2.1 there is no this problem and everything works fine

It's great for everything except one thing. I have set up luckperms so that non-ops can /lswithdraw, but when they do, it doesn't withdraw any hearts but gives them the item without taking any hearts.

The plugin is great but players lose hearts when their totems pop. Server also gives message of not being able to keep up with plugin enabled, not sure why. How do i make it such that the recipe has empty slots?

This is a great plugin but I have a few problems. Any non op player is not able to withdraw their hearts. When they try, they get a message not in English telling them they don't have the permission to do so. If they try to set their language, the same thing happens. is there any solutions to this, thanks.

Nice plugin! Is there a way to prevent players from /withdrawing every single one of their hearts? If not I think the plugin should not allow you to withdraw your last heart, as right now it lets you and doing it eliminates the player. I've had to revive lots of people because they did this

Everything in the plugin works great except...There is no limit for how many hearts a player can have which means there can be people running around with like 50 hearts. Is there a way to set a limit?

Very nice plugin must be on paper 1.17 for it to work, also the way to give people hearts is: /attribute {player name} generic.max_health base set {amount of hearts} (20 = normal) creator has very good support!
